Yelp led me to yet another great business!!! This is why I always contribute and read up on businesses before I use them.
Just stopped by the shop and had David replace my windshield earlier today so that the VIN plate would show. He answered all of my numerous questions, and had me in and out of the shop in about 75 minutes. He beat the other estimate that I got by about $50. He also has a warranty against chips if you have your windshield replaced by him, but ask him about the specifics since I don't want to speak for him. On top of all of that, he thanked me a few times for choosing his shop. I recommend him 110%! -

When we needed a new windshield, I wasn't sure who to call. I asked co-workers, and they didn't really have a recommendation. I turned to Yelp. I knew I wanted a company with high customer satisfaction, and locally owned if at all possible. They led me to Dave and Tim at Absolute Auto Glass. Five Star all the way.
Couldn't have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend, and will go back if I ever need another windshield! -

Had a problem with a chip and weatherstripping David took care of it right away with no charge. As always his positive and cheerful attitude is infectious. Do not hesitate for a minute to use Absolute for your glass replacement needs.

Absolute Auto Glass is great - price-wise and customer service-wise. I had my front windshield replaced recently and I messed up the year with another car we had. When Jim arrived, we found out it was the wrong windshield (Toyota Corolla windshields changed size started in '09 - who knew?) and he did a search to find us the right year. He found a windshield, picked it up and was replacing it within a hour. On a Saturday. With a smile. A really, really cheerful smile and attitude.
(Thankfully we were the last appointment of the day otherwise someone else may have had to wait until Monday for the same mix-up.)
Not only did Jim replace the windshield same day (with my mix-up, no less), he also put in some anti-rust thing on a pretty decent scratch we had on our paint. I forgot what the liquid was called but it was black like the car so no guarantees anyone else will get this little perk. He also humored all my husband's questions, told us a little bit more about the company (no one there has worked in the windshield replacement biz under 10 years), and let us know about the discount program if we get a chip or crack. There's also a referral program so your friends can get a discount if they mention you did business with them.
Overall a solid business. I will definitely be calling them the next time a rock decides to crack my windshield. -

I had a pretty big chip in my windshield and with cooler weather coming, I needed to get this taken care of fast.
I had made some phone calls to area chip repair businesses and had to leave messages on answering machines asking for prices (out-of-pocket) and appointments.
Of all of the businesses I called, Absolute was the only one that actually answered. We made an appt for them to come to my house on my next day off. None of the other businesses called me back, by the way.
David called to let me know he was running ahead of schedule and - I was glad to have them "sooner the better" so I could get on with my day.
The rate was $40 for up to 3 chips (they found a 2nd one while working on the one big one). Be sure to mention you heard of them on Yelp! - they like to know that.
Done in about 20 mins and gone. Nice, fast work! I will be calling them again for both my newer (windshield insured) and older car again. -

In all seriousness, what I just said above is not hyperbole. Lemme break it down for you: I'm a girl who doesn't know a thing about cars. Not. One. Thing. Okay, fine, you got me... I know putting gas in it makes it go. And sometimes you do something with the oil. Other than that... I'm SOL when it comes to car trouble.
Not saying that to brag, I find it pretty pathetic I don't know jack about cars, but on the other hand, cars are like math to me. I don't know it, I don't really like it, and frankly it scares me. Luckily for me, I've got my dad/boyfriend for car trouble, and a calculator for math.
Except... these past two weeks. Long story short, I got a HUGE crack on my windshield (thanks semi-trucks on the freeway!) that kept getting bigger, so big that sooner or later it would impede my ability to see. And lord knows I don't want any tickets!
So anyway, I called David from Absolute Auto Glass. Another long story short, my insurance policy is wonky (small town, another state, etc.) and even though I have a $0 deductible for windshield replacement, my insurance was being difficult.
David took care of EVERYTHING!!! All I had to do was call my insurance once to authorize David's company to replace the windshield, and everything was a-ok.
The guys who came to replace the windshield (Tim and someone else... missed his name) said they would be there between 10 am-12 pm. They arrived at 10:45 am, plenty of time to finish early so I could run errands afterwards.
They were polite, explained everything to me, showed me what they were doing, and were the epitome of professionalism.
I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate and respect this company. They didn't try to sell me anything else, they showed up on time, they were friendly and professional... I could go on and on.
If you're someone who doesn't know a lot about cars and don't want to get scammed, TRUST ME, Absolute Auto Glass is the right place for you. Heck, even if you know a ton about cars, this place is for you! -

David represents everything that one should want in an automotive glass repair shop: he's honest, forthright, knowledgeable, integrable, and competitive. I live in California, and yet I chose to use David to replace my windshield for my Honda Accord when I was in Denver for a wedding because I had such confidence in dealing with him over the phone.
First and foremost, David doesn't dickle around. He uses top-quality adhesives -- whereas many of my local folk use lower quality glues -- and still comes in more competitive in price than most auto glass repair shops.
Second, he spent a considerable amount of time talking with me about the various companies that he uses. I was concerned about the manufacturer of the glass as well as the adhesive. He didn't bat an eye, was very upfront, and assuaged my worry when AP Tech glass -- the OEM for the Honda -- was unavailable by suggesting and debunking the realities of the alternatives. (We used Pilkington, which is OEM on Volvos, I believe).
Third, he fit me in during my short stay in Denver at a time that was most convenient for me. He arrived within five minutes of his stated time, and because I had snagged a couple spots in front of my hotel, he was able to do the work right outside.
While he price wasn't the cheapest, it was among the most competitive and I have thorough confidence in the quality of his work. Given that I live out-of-state, he pledged to pay for the replacement of any warranty claim for as long as I own my car and his glass is in my windsheild if anything goes wrong. Many of the local Yelpers (in California) seem moved by the prices of the work, but the price isn't the only factor. Price may be cheap, but so may the workmanship. David's wasn't. In fact, he instructed me to get a car wash BEFORE I left Denver to ensure that there would be no leaks. If there were anything wrong, he wanted to have the opportunity to fix it before I left. Needless to say, there was no problem -- and up until now (two weeks later) have been no problems with respect to leaking (or anything else). And I did go to a car wash.
If anyone reading this lives in Denver, David's Absolute Auto Glass is absolutely a no-brainer. Use him. He's top-notch, high-quality, fair, honest, and good.

Thank you yelp!! When you've suffered the defeat of having someone smash in a window of your car to rip out a cd player that they'll probably only end up getting 20 bucks for in the end, you really find that need to get a win under your belt before your faith in humanity crumbles.
Just moments before I decided to turn in my "Good Progressive Liberal" membership card so that I could vote for capital punishment for all petit theft offenses, I called David at Absolute. David was polite, forthright and courteous. At 8:30, I made the phone call to get some help with a situation that was clearly beyond my (somewhat limited) automotive repair capabilities. By 8:31, I was sold on a very fair quote and a promise that salvation lay between 11 and 1 o'clock of that same day. I settled down to wait for "the catch" (clearly still struggling with humanity trust issues)
At about 9:30, Tim from Absolute called me up to let me know that they were ahead of schedule and If I'd like, they'd be happy to swing over right away, if I have the time. (hmmm... this can't be the catch, can it? Is this where we deviate from the plan and I end up getting screwed... it just seems really convenient for me... I'd better see where this goes...)
By 10, Tim is in my driveway surveying my poor car, violated and broken, with a sad little trickle of electrical guts spilling out of the gaping hole in the dash... little cubes of glass everywhere (not to mention the dog hair- it's really disgusting how I can let that go sometimes). The first thing he has to say to me is: "I've been doing this for 10 years, and it hurts me to see this every time. I'm sorry man." (Wow... you know what? Feel free to throw an extra 20 on the bill just because of how good it feels to hear someone say that. (they didn't, though))
By 10:35, My car looks like it never happened. The window is shiny new and clean... no glass cubes, and even quite a bit less dog hair than before! As I'm paying what seems to be a very small sum of money for the work that was done, Tim mentions one other thing... he noticed a good sized dent on the roof of my car (is this the catch?...). He pulls a suction cup out of the van and pops the dent out. Parting words were: "Hey, I'm sorry we had to meet like this, but it was good to meet you."
At the end of the day, not only is my car restored, but so is my faith in the goodness of my fellow man. I thought another 5 star yelp review might be redundant, but I couldn't afford to let this win go unnoticed. -

Yep. Absolutely awesome. David's price was very competitive and worked very well (and quickly) with my insurance company (USAA). An FYI, most insurance companies handle comprehensive windshield claims as separate claims from normal comprehensive incidents. This should alleviate some fear (though you should still check with your company) on using insurance to fix your windshield. That's what it's there for!
For reference sake, David was about $50 cheaper than other businesses in the area and was able to come out the same day. -

Anything less than 5 stars for Absolute is silly!!
I called about twelve different auto glass places around the Denver area. Not only was David the friendliest, but the cheapest for a windshield. It was under $150 for a windshield installed!! I called on Saturday and he was able to get to me first thing Monday morning at my work.
I will keep his card and call him whenever I need a new windshield or chip/crack repaired. Also he said they can repair cracks up to the size of a dollar bill. -

Wholly crap. All you yelpers nailed it. If you take people's opinions with a grain of salt than you can realistically believe about half of the good and bad reviews, but these guys really are 5 star worthy.
Mama's car was violated by some crack head downtown looking for stuff to sell for a quick rock. Busted the car window got the iPod and a gps then busted by the PO-PO leaving the scene. Now to clean up the mess...
David at Absolute Auto Glass underbid the other quotes I received by 15 bone without knowing the other prices I got from competitors. He was willing to schedule last minute at no extra charge but that didn't work with my schedule so we set an appointment for the following afternoon.
The techs that came out were top notch. Tim and the other guy (sorry other guy, I didn't catch your name) showed up at the estimated time of arrival, they were cool, personable and easy to work with. They explained everything I asked about and humored my questions; even those not related to the science of auto glass repair. They even did an add on windshield chip repair for me, on the cheap-ish.
Trust the reviews yelpers, these guys are worthy of your business.
Their business is all mobile which I feel to be a good thing, low overhead means low/competitive prices.

On my way to work a couple years ago an 18-wheeler threw a rock at my Honda. Unfortunately, the 18-wheeler won. That was the small beginning of the splintering crack that continued to grow until it reached both ends of my windshield. My pretty little car was broken. At least, it was according to my line of sight. I took the car to a drive-thru car wash recently and while in the power washing stage I watched in horror as the crack grew into a second crack and then a third...
In comes Absolute Auto Glass. I found David Sprague and his lovely business thanks to other yelpers (thank you, dears).
1st star: I called him on a Wednesday and he was available to be at my house on Saturday.
2nd star: He gave me an arrival time between 12:30 and 2:30 and then arrived promptly at 12:45.
3rd star: To replace my entire windshield cost less than $200 and he came to me, which meant I could enjoy my Saturday morning ritual of Bloody Mary's without feeling guilty.
4th star: He was done in less than an hour.
5th star: He was extremely professional and friendly. -

David, the owner, is fantastic and really cares about his customers. He got me on the same day that I called (even though he had several other jobs that day) and filled the chip on my windshield promptly and for about 1/2 the price of other auto glass companies in Denver.

I got my car broke in this morning, and I had no idea in how to find a good, reliable, and most important, a trustworthy company that would understand how bad it can be to be victimized.
I had called almost all auto glass replacement shops I could find. Most of them were fast on the call, giving me quotes for more than $250 for one single window!
I've called David from Absolute Auto Glass and he was awesome, friendly, answered the phone with empathy, and was able to come serve my car for a great price, and in an hour! Besides that, he made sure to clean my car's interior as well as the street! That's a plus. -

After making an appointment to have my cracked windshield replaced at Safelite, I decided to read some reviews on Yelp. I came to realize that there is a local guy doing the same thing, who takes insurance and provides much more reliable/professional service- Absolute Auto Glass.
After calling mid-afternoon on Tuesday, David said he would come to where ever my car was parked on Thursday. Not 2 weeks Thursday, 2 days Thursday. AWESOME. And he was 30 mins early instead of 30 mins late!
He told me that Safelite manufactures their own glass and it's thinner and breaks easier. This would explain the chip/crack only 2 months after replacement.
David was fast, courteous and handled everything with my insurance. My windshield now looks like the one I originally bought with my car and was definitely installed more professionally. Warranties and chip repair for a year are definitely added bonuses, as well. Support local business, give David a call! -

Wow, thank you Yelpers for helping me find David and Absolute Auto Glass! My windshield was severely damaged some time ago by a tornado and hail storm and needed to be replaced. I had never had a windshield replaced before so I was a bit nervous about having someone come out to my home and replace it. I had absolutely nothing to worry about.
I checked Safelite (though I had decided from reviews on here that I would not go with them) to get a baseline, and then I called Absolute Auto Glass. David's quote was far below theirs, and even significantly less than Auto Glass Guys (also highly rated on Yelp).
There was about a week between when I first got a quote from David and when I called him back to setup the appointment, and even though David's price for the windshield had increased a bit, he decided not to increase over my original quote.
David was punctual and extremely professional. There is no doubt that this guy is a hard worker and his lifetime warranty is something you can take to the bank.
Stop searching now, just call David. -

David is quick, reliable and cheapest in town! He quoted the lowest price in Denver. I have a 1997 Ford Explorer and the prices have never changed since the first time I had to replace my wind shield in 2000, it's still $200+. I saved $50, by choosing Absolute Auto Glass.
He was right on time, actually he arrived at my house. 30 minutes early. He and his assistant replaced my wind shied in less than 45min. I had some corrosion, and they sanded and primed it, then told me. That's awesome! They're very neat and efficient.
I'll definitely recommend them to EVERYONE I know that needs their auto glass replaced. Don't forget to leave a review for them.....that's how I made my decision to choose Absolute Auto Glass. :) -

I called three other places around Denver before choosing Absolute. Their quote was about $50 less expensive than the others. I called in the afternoon and was given a two hour window the next morning when they could come out to my house. The technician called me in the morning and said he could be there about 30 minutes early if that would work for me (without assuming it would). The tech was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and worked fast. They charged me the exact amount that I was quoted.
My windshield was replaced and I was very happy with the experience. I highly recommend Absolute. -

looked for a glass repair place for a friend whos car was broken into. Saw all the great reviews so recommended this place. My friend said they came out and took care of his window quickly, cheaper than anyone else and were super awesome. If I ever need glass repair I'm definately calling Absolute!

I originally found out about Absolute Auto Glass right here on Yelp. Very professional service. My car windshield was damaged from years of dust scratches and gravel impacts and it had become unsafe, especially when driving toward the sun and other vehicles' headlights. David took my reservation and scheduled the service right away. The price quoted seemed very reasonable for an on-site service and it was well worth it.
The work was done on time by friendly professionals. I called to get the service done at my workplace, which was very convenient. My car is old and it presented some challenges due to the original adhesive. They worked it out just fine. Thumbs up! -

I called about a crack in my windshield, worried that it was 2pm on Friday already and the crack might spread with a cold weekend coming up. They sent out their guy to my office in only 30 minutes! He was super friendly and fixed me up quick. They handled the claim with my insurance (with just a quick phone confirmation with me) and I was back to work in no time. Thanks Absolute!

Thanks to Hans for reviewing this business. Driving in the mountains a pebble pinged my windshield, by the time I reached Denver a 15 inch crack had grown out of the small star, and I needed a windshield replacement for the first time. I called around, and Absolute was far and away the best deal, an amazing $134 for the complete service, about $50-$60 cheaper than other quotes I received. Absolute is run by a nice Wisconsin kid who worked for a big commercial outfit for a few years before striking out on his own about a year ago. He came to my place the day after I called, and had the windshield replaced in about 30 minutes. It's the exact same style windshield as before (same shadings, etc), he even transferred the oil change sticker. A great experience overall.

My windshield became a slew of cracks and was looking at gettiing it replaced by Elite (as I did a few years ago). Checked out some reviews here on Yelp and Absolute Auto Glass had some great reviews so I thought I would give them a call. I was soooo happy I did! David was great. The price was great (quote was about 25.00 less than competitors), he showed up on time, fixed some rust (result of the seal of the windshield from a previous replacement), and got me back out on the street.

These guys were great! Used them because of all of the other great reviews and I am not disappointed. They fixed our broken car window next day for $180 and even came to us, how convenient! And they vacuumed up all the glass from the break in.

After calling about a dozen or so auto glass places, I found Absolute. David, the owner, was courteous, knowledgeable, and he quoted me the best price! Even better, he had factory original "OEM" glass, which from talking to other companies, wasn't available or very difficult to find. To top things off, when I mentioned "yelp," he gave me an additional $10 off the already low quoted price! He showed up early to our appointment and was done in 45-minutes like he said, and the workmanship was top notch. I think it's rare to find a good worker that is reliable and honest and affordable in the auto repair industry. I wouldn't go to anyone else after this experience.

We hired Absolute Auto Glass twice in the last couple months. The first time, we called on a Friday of a holiday weekend, and David was able to get to us on Tuesday to replace a badly cracked windshield. Next, we called with a vandalized broken drivers window, and he was able to fit us in within 24 hours of our call. Excellent, prompt service. He brought the same helper each time, and both guys were professional and kind. Also, they were very competitively priced. I would highly recommend them.

You know how you feel when you put off a task you know will be a) crazy-expensive, and b) incredibly inconvenient? That's how I felt about the multiple cracks across my windshield. If only I'd known about the guys at Absolute Auto Glass, I wouldn't have put off windshield replacement for over a year! After reading the reviews on yelp, I gave them a shot. They quoted me a rate that was half what the dealership quoted and about 80 bucks cheaper than Safelite/Elite (and didn't include weird removal fees and the like). And the best part? I called them on my lunch hour today to make an appointment. They gave me a service window of 2-4 pm...this afternoon. Not next week. Today. AND they came to my office downtown. They arrived right on time, were professional and conscientious, and the whole thing ended up being no more inconvenient than running out for a coffee break. Cannot rave about these guys enough!
