Great experience with Absolute Appliances. Called on a Monday and arranged for a repairman to come out on Wednesday to look at my Maytag dryer which wasn't heating up. Victor called Wednesday morning and said he could be out in about an hour - excellent! Didn't have to wait around all day. Took a short time to diagnose the problem, told me the cost, which seemed fair, and was done in less than an hour. Victor also mentioned the Yelp coupon, which was great (I had already bought one). Besides for repairing the dryer, Victor also cleaned out the years of dust that had collected inside and under it! Also great that they were willing to travel from Hollywood to Monterey Park. Highly recommend them and would use again for other appliance repair needs.

It is very difficult to find good appliance repair companies these days. This company did arrive on time and the service tech was very professional. My gripe was with the way my appointment was booked and how the charges were represented to me. Just understand, if they come out to service your appliance the first minimum charge they quote you is merely to show up. Then if they need to do any service or install any parts another additional labor charge is added on to the first charge they quote you, so I felt a little misled in that respect. However, when I did call their office and complain about feeling misled, they did respond to my complaint and waived the secondary charges.

Our dishwasher wasn't washing properly. After looking at Yelp reviews, gave Absolute Appliances a call. They had repairman, Victor, out in a couple days and he was able to pinpoint the problem. After ordering the part, he came back a few days later and fixed it up. Honest, upfront and competent service. Highly recommend!

When my washer started smoking in the middle of a load, Absolute Appliances was the only place I could get to come out that day (Saturday) to look at it.
The technician made a very thorough inspection but could find nothing wrong with the washer. Although I was still charged the $45 fee for a service call, I was able to use their Yelp coupon to get it for $25, which is definitely worth the peace of mind, knowing that nothing's wrong with the machine. Also, the technician phoned a few days later to check in and make sure the problem hadn't reoccurred. Very cool! -

Bought a sweet BlueStar range from this reputable shop. Price was good, Edward was great, and the install went very smoothly.
Only concern is they call for delivery after 4pm the night before---a tad late in my book, but it wasn't a big issue and my schedule wasn't full---mitigated by the big plus that they install/deliver on Saturdays!
Will probably buy a Miele dishwasher from them at some point as the experience was great. -

Our landlord (whom is cool as shit) has apparently been doing business with these guys for some time, and is whom we call anytime we need any appliance repaired. Each repair person that has been out has been very professional, honest, and overall cool.
They've never tried pushing anything extra on us, despite the fact that they are aware that the landlord will comp us for paying for the repair, and even inform us on how to maintain our appliances and keep them working at their best. In addition, the prices are fair and competitive, and work very efficiently. Most definitely, the kind of repair company you can rest assured, is not going to try and rip you off. -

My washer was leaking into my downstairs neighbors apartment. I called Absolute and they had a repairman out within 30 minutes on a Saturday! I also called them on a separate occasion to fix my dryer. Both times the repair men were quick, efficient, and very upfront and straightforward with the prices. No bait and switch or mysterioius hidden costs. They tell you the problem, how much it will cost to fix, and then charge you that amount at the end. What a novel concept! Also can't beat the first time visit Yelp coupon. I'm very glad I found this business, they will be my go to appliance repair people!

Long, long, sad, frustrating oven repair drama was just brought to an end by Absolute Appliance repair! I couldn't be happier right now! Short version: 2003 stainless steel, pretty, expensive, Jenn Air convection wall oven stopped heating properly. Called a repair guy recommended by a friend (Phil's Appliance repair), and after charging me $150, he told me I needed to replace the $300 relay board, which was back ordered. I finally got the part almost a year later and it still didn't work, at which point the repair guy got nasty and blamed me! I thought I'd have to replace the oven (and say goodbye to at least another thousand $s), but I read Yelp reviews for Absolute, and figured I'd give it one last try. Super nice on the phone, sent out Victor the next morning, and an hour later it was fixed! He said it was just a short, and I probably replaced that other part (and waited a year!) unnecessarily! Grrrrr....
Anyway, I had a great experience with Absolute and would totally recommend them. -

Alex provided excellent, honest, timely service on the second service call. The $25 for $50 coupon was a bonus.
I do not know which service technician was scheduled for the first call, but he did not even bother to call to the tenants to advise that he was not going to be able to make the call in the time-frame scheduled. Not good!
We'll use them again. -

Fantastic! Gave them a call to have a look at my washer which was making all sorts of racket on spin cycle. Figured it was in need of repair. Absolute sent their man out and after looking everything over, he said there was nothing wrong except I was overloading it, causing it to be unbalanced during spin. He could easily have told me I needed parts replaced and I wouldn't have been the wiser. I appreciate his honesty and timeliness and plan to give them a call for any appliance repair needs!

Had a good experience with these guys when my Maytag portable dishwasher needed repair - the water inlet hose that connects to the sink needed replacing. Scheduling the appointment by phone was quick and easy; I was able to get a slot for the next day. A guy named Victor came out; he was right on time (early, in fact!), super polite and easy to work with. He diagnosed the problem and had to order the part and schedule a second appointment to do the install. He was on time for the second appointment. When the part ended up to be not quite right (the hose didn't fit the nozzle on our sink) he got the right nozzle and was back the next morning (on time again) to finish up. I thought the replacement hose part was too expensive, but that's not the repairman's fault; labor was $120 which seemed reasonable. I would definitely use these guys again.

Updating my earlier review - Edward and the installer (Edgar's the man!) have made this experience as positive as it can get. They have been VERY good with everything! The scheduling of delivery was painless and we even got a call out when they were on the way!
We had a snafu where we needed to have our cabinets adjusted to fit a few of the appliances, and they were very understanding and removed a few parts to lighten the load for the fitting to be less painful to push back in.
They know their stuff, they're not pushy, communicate and plan well and they're just a pleasant bunch. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of appliances!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I was expecting a bad experience with these guys. Not because the reviews are bad, but because their website is just ok and I always seem to expect appliance stores to be bad. Well, I have to admit, they were just perfect. A real surprise. I ordered a very expensive range over the phone/email, got a discount based on a price match, and everything -- from ordering to delivery -- was excellent. Not much else to say, they did everything you would want a seller of a big range to do: they called ahead with a day/time for delivery, the delivery folks were nice and helped place it in my garage, the item was in perfect condition (and I should note, this particular range was impossible to find elsewhere). In short, the transaction was awesome.

I had used these folks once before to fix the garbage disposal at a rental unit and my tenant was very pleased. Based on that recommendation I decided to give them a call when our oven stopped working 2 days before Easter. The technician was scheduled to arrive on Saturday between 9 and 1pm; around noon I started to worry because I hadn't heard anything. I called them and they were very apologetic and said the tech would be at my home shortly. About 10 minutes later John arrived at our house. He went right to work. Our oven is very old and the parts are hard to find. We knew our situation was difficult but with 20 people coming over for Easter we hoped for the best. John explained that there were several possible problems but he suggested fixing the simplest and cheapest part first. Unfortunately it being a Saturday getting parts would be a bit of a problem. I explained our dinner situation but said if he couldn't fix it before Easter we completely understood. John tried his best but couldn't get our oven to work but said he'd call a friend who sells parts for antique ovens and would let us know if there was a part available. At 7:45 that evening John called me back to let me know he had located our part and could come by and install it right away. He showed up within 30 minutes and fixed our oven for half the price we initially thought and in half the time estimated. He saved our Easter dinner. In addition he called his wife in the middle of the repairs so that she could give my wife some information on a good store for Russian cuisine. These people are awesome! If I could I'd give them ten stars.

I found these guys here on Yelp & called them yesterday about a leaking dishwasher. The woman I spoke with was so nice and was able to schedule someone to come the next morning. So - the repair guy just left - he was great! It was fixed in about a half hour and they were totally honest & fair about the problem. It didn't cost very much and he was very thorough. I highly recommend Absolute for appliance repair!

I found myself in a situation of needing a new washer, dryer, and refrigerator delivered and installed in a very short time window (i.e., ordering mid-week, needing installation that same Saturday).
Several of the places I contacted did not bother to even answer my emails. But Alex immediately confirmed what they had in stock and that they could handle delivery and installation exactly as I was requesting.
And as a very nice bonus, the prices we agreed on were exactly in-line with the best prices I was finding at reputable competitors via web searches.
Install was right on time, without a hitch. The guys were super nice and had everything installed and working in a jiffy.
So to summarize: very responsive to requests, great prices, good delivery and installation. I plan on using them again. -

Unbelievable! This company should have a negative rating. The customer service at this company is dreadful. The service department is even worse. If you schedule an appointment, expect to have a technician show up 3-5 days after the scheduled appointment date. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Asko should take this company's information off of their website for service repairs.

My dishwasher motor was making strange noises so I looked on yelp and found the previous good reviews for Absolute Appliances. I called and they sent repairperson Vlad, who showed up almost immediately. They were clear up front about their charge for a service call, but applied it against the price of the repair. Vlad was knowledgeable and fast, and carefully explained what he was doing. An hour and a half after I made the first call, our dishwasher was repaired. I had a very positive experience.

I can't say enough great things about Absolute Appliances! I called them on Monday morning to get help for my broken dryer and they were here, on time, the following afternoon. It only took half an hour to fix and everything was clearly explained to me before they went ahead and made the repairs. I won't hesitate to call them again and I won't hesitate to recommend them heartily to friends and family. Oh, and the Yelp discount coupon I purchased after making my appointment yesterday saved me $25 and was accepted without hesitation! I am thoroughly satisfied!

Great Customer Service. Office staff was helping and nice and suggested using special on yelp to save money. Service Tech came and immediately diagnosed the issue. Had 2 other Repair companies out and they had no clue and terrible customer service. Would recommend for future service.

I can't believe I get to be the first to review this place. I've never bought anything at the store, I've only ever used them as a repair service and they are (so far) the best appliance repair people I've found in LA. They've repaired the dishwasher, washing machine (x2) and oven and I'm about to call them back for the third time on the same oven. My fault, it's old and I love it and we are wearing it out but they keep bringing it back for more punishment. What's more they've never pushed me to buy anything new and the repair bills are pretty reasonable plus they always tell me how I broke the thing in the first place (washing machine = too much dog hair, dishwasher = too much soap and no water softener, oven = too freaking old) and how NOT to do it again.

Here's a story about appliance #2 going out and how Absolute saved the day. Our ancient Jenn-Air dishwasher died, and we were sick of paying service visits for stupid little parts, so we looked at buying a new d/w from Absolute, given our great experience with our cooktop. Absolute were terrific again to work with, this time with Alex. We chose a Maytag. So the delivery/install guy comes out, and, Uh-oh, I didn't realize that the new tile we had recently installed made the clearance under our cabinet that much narrower and the Maytag juuuust wouldn't fit. "Don't worry, it happens all the time," says the installer. Absolute takes back the Maytag (without the nasty restocking fee that other appliance stores charge) and Alex says, no problem, let's find you one that does fit. That meant researching some pretty obscure European brands, and Alex was really helpful in finding us a perfect fit. Installer came back out with the Asko that Alex recommended, he finessed out the old dishwasher and installed the new one without scraping the tile (it's known to happen). While he was at it, installer saw that a water delivery valve under the sink was about to blow and replaced it for a nominal fee (way less than calling out a plumber). Totally awesome service. 10/10.

He worked with me to reschedule and I was contacted when the tech was on his way Sergey was professional and clearly knows his stuff!
