This is the only gardening center we go to. We have tried all the others in the general area (and there are many) and this is certainly the best. It is small, but it carries everything you could need. They have a good selection of plants in the spring, and they are all locally grown. Their staff is AMAZING! I can go in with any question about my garden or lawn and they know how to answer it and how to help me out. We don't get our gardening supplies anywhere else now.

I have to support little, family-run, local businesses like Abner's. I've passed it countless times and finally killed two birds with one stone by visiting Abner's Garden Center and Edwards Meats (they share a parking lot.)
If you need it, Abner's probably has it...........A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Its like a rainbow explosion inside the greenhouses. They have a pretty good website too (Check out some of the pics I posted.)
Friendly help (unlike some other nurseries........) I felt welcome here. Open year-around, I'm sure I will be back several times throughout the year.Listed in: Going Going ..........Green

Greaaaaat selection. I love it. There is not a lot of people working there but they know a lot and are very friendly. There really are a lot of plants to choose from.
They also have a lot of already planted containers with beautiful arrangements.
