I have been going to eat at Abio's for over 10 years. I've gone to eat there with family, friends and even dates. Al's red sauce is my favorite. Whenever someone suggests Olive Garden, I suggest Abio's instead. It is a great place to take a date, since it is small and quiet. You'll really have a chance to get to know your date.....whether that turns out good or bad. I had a date order soda water the last time I was there for dinner, and Al's response from the kitchen was, "Ooo, that's exciting!" (The date wasn't exciting himself, it turns out.)

There is, no better place in Ocala to buy pizza. Ive lived here forever, and have stuffed large amounts of pizza down my gullet, and by far, Abios, is kick ass. The guy that runs the place, Big Al, is a character and will talk to you like hes known you for years. The restaurant itself is cozy and quaint. Everything is handmade from the dough to the chicken parm. The crust has such flavor and the cheese is perfect and....yea, this place has got it.
