Do not shop at this company's store. This company discriminates against minorities in hiring. They have been sued by employees and EEOC. In fact, the paid $50 million to settle because they knew they would be found guilty by a jury.
I use to work at A & F a year back, and let me tell you all you have to be is attractive looking and be a good talker to work there! the pay is miminum wage, but i learned a lot from working there! The clothes are okay, we use to spray a lot of fragrance on the clothes to keep business coming and it seems to work quite often, the secret of A&F is truly simple just look good and pay too much for average quality.
Do not put the clothes in the washing machine, it will shrink! i'm a size medium there and i can fit in their clothes, i just feel bad for the girls and guys who love nice clothes but can't fit.. (don't feel bad, trust me there are way better stores out there and better fits!) however it's a business, so to keep the name we must go smaller but i did see a size 12 there recently and online!
This is like the nicest Abercrombie I have ever been to. Want to know why? Because it's quiet and while it still smells heavily of their signature cologne, its not over bearing. The people are very friendly and helpful, and they have a huge selection of clearance items (I WENT WILD!!! I've got 2 new pair of jeans, 2 sweaters, and like 6 new tops). Overall, if you like shopping at A&F this is like the best one. It has the same classic techno favorites (except this time you can hear the words!), and I guess besides the general calm atmosphere, this is the first A&F that I have been in that has diversity. I like it! :)
