OK this is just for the men's boxer briefs or rather "athletic trunk" or whatever else you can call them. Stop reading NOW if you don't want to know about them!
Sizing: Size L fits waist size 34. When they say "low rise" they seem to mean it. When they say "trunk" as opposed to "athletic short" they mean the leg part doesn't go very far down like on regular boxer briefs.
Waistband: Silky smooth elastic (like on DKNY). If you want your friends to notice the brand of underwear you have on, don't worry, these use a plenty big font. (But remember Abercrombie uses a slightly lower rise, so they might not be visible... probably a good thing for the non-skanky man.) Oh, for people that use bleach or bleaching body products, be aware the the waistband but not the body will bleach.
Leg openings: reinforced cotton... just fine.
Body material: For the first time EVER, I've found non-100% cotton boxer briefs that are super comfy and soft. Usually including elastane in the body makes them itchy and clingy (try Structure's version or the European Celio brand to see what I mean) , but these are an exception. They are 95% pima cotton and 5% elastane. They seem to have finer yet more thickly woven cotton.
Fly / package issues: Perfect for sports- finally! These are the first brand of men's underwear I've ever seen that use an elastane blend but still think to use a double thickness front panel where you need it. They also place the seams just right so things don't flop around. They chose not to include a fly - pretty standard on athletic underwear - which probably makes sense because the stretchy material would make using the fly rather awkward.
