Small. Clean. No wax recycling. Quaint renovated little house on Normandy Dr. Owner operated. Pricing is perfect!
Thy have two locations, I prefer this one. You can get quality service at both. -

SUPER CUTE LOCATION. The salon is located in a house on the outskirts of the Normandy Fountain business district. If you approach from the mainland, you'll have to go past it and do a U-turn because it's on the westbound side of Normandy drive. The salon is absolutely adorable inside. The colors are white and light blue and there's a little fireplace in the corner with a fountain in it and candles all around. They play a nice mix of mellow music and the owner and her staff are really warm and friendly.
I was there for a mani/pedi. The woman who did my nails was polite and professional and quick, but a bit aggressive with the cuticle clippers.
When I left, the polish was perfect, but she'd clipped one of my fingers and I was left with a visible nick. Not cool. Band-Aid or scab. Yuck.
Reading through some of the other reviews of this salon, I'm recognizing a bit of a pattern. Beauty hurts at ABB. If that's your philosophy, have at it. I prefer TLC.Listed in: Online Discount Deals

It's in a cute little house and I felt right at home! All the staff members were welcoming when I walked in. One even hung up her Cellphone when I arrived. (unusual for Miami)
The place is bright and immaculate. Even the bathroom is extremely clean.The owner made me a freshly brewed espresso while I had my manicure. Romina did a beautiful job with my mani/pedi. she really cares about her work. Overall a 5 star experience! -

I've been going to ABB for several years now and couldn't imagine anyone rating them less than 5 stars! The staff is not only professional, but accommodating and extremely friendly! Ana is amazing at what she does! I always leave ABB with perfectly manicured eyebrows! The place is super cozy, extremely clean and they always have the most relaxing music playing! I always have a 5 star experience and recommend to everyone!

So I'm stuck on how to rate this I'm between 3 and 5 stars, I'm going with 3 for emphasis about the negatives which I think could be deal breakers, but- the place is lovely, clean, immaculate, spa like. The staff was great and accommodating, they took me late on a friday with a same day reservation, even stayed open late for me to get my nails done. I did brazilian bikini, eyebrows, lip and the mani/ pedi, Sylvana, was amazing and sooo thorough (which for both Bikini and eyebrows is awesome), My eyebrows look great ( I usually prefer threading but I was doing "beach prep and wanted serious attention to shaping) all the waxing took longer than anywhere I have ever gone but I am very happy with the results. One big problem I had was that I mentioned that I saw online that they offer 10% for first time customers, I was informed that I could only get the discount if I printed it out, I have no access to a printer and rarely use one, I thought mentioning it should be enough, but apparently the owner doesn't honor her offers. My other gripe is a bit of TMI, my understanding is that by definition a brazilian includes what ABB calls the "butt strip" but ABB has used that as an opportunity to charge extra, After a very professional and pleasant experience (if not a bit long), I was left feeling disappointed by their business practices. I want to be clear the staff was amazing but I was left feeling a little taken advantage of, which I believe is about the owner and her policies.
I would consider going back for the waxing because Sylvana did such a great job, the mani/pedi was nice and spa like but I probably wouldn't pay those prices again, a regular nail salon would do me just fine. I'm just torn as to whether I want to patronize a business with questionable practices.
I'm rating it pricey because of their policies, but the prices for waxing are basically reasonable, I walked outta there with all the above services for $120 including a $20 dollar tip (she stayed late after all, and I was naked half of the time(lol). -

I'm going to have to give this place 2 stars because I really had an awful experience. I had made an appt for a manicure and pedicure and I was called earlier in the day and told the manicurist would be 15 minutes late. I had a flight to catch later in the day so I told them that would be fine but I really couldn't be pushed back. I was promised it wouldn't and I didn't worry. I arrived at my appt on time and saw that the manicurist had just begun her appt right before me. Meaning, her other appt arrived over an hour late and they still saw her. I had to wait over an hour before I was seen. By this point I almost walked out because I was running very late. I decided to grin and bear it and was seen by the manicurist. She then proceeded to cut me twice when cutting my cuticles. Also, my nail polish chipped about 2 days later. The place is very nice, clean, and they offered me tea as I waited, but I will never go to this location again for a manicure and pedicure.

Two words: OUCH. and NEVER AGAIN. Ok, that's three words but I'm in such a state of shock/pain that my mind has temporarily gone numb. I know that a bikini wax is not supposed to be a walk in the park, but the experience I had at ABB has caused me to ask, "What did I ever do to them?"...Granted I have not gone for an actual salon wax in about two years but I don't remember it being this bad. The first strips of wax--although a bit hot for my skin--were bearable. When I grimaced at the heat, the nice lady (Eva?) was pleasant enough assuring me it was fine, don't worry. However as she continued to go over the same areas that had been waxed before, I felt like my skin was being ripped off as well. On her FOURTH go-over (I'm not kidding!) with my bikini area looking like it was stung by a hundred bees, I finally said "Noo-oo..!!" She told me that by the next day the redness and swelling would go away. Well it's not quite 24 hrs, but I am jacked up on Ibuprofen and my vaginal area looks like scalding hot water was poured on it. Not pretty! And I am in so much pain....Erg. Not worth the 10% off for first time visitors. Gonna go find another less torturous waxing place once I recover from this trauma.
