Review from Tina A.
A large frame I had hanging on my wall came crashing down last week, so I went to Aaron Brothers to get it fixed.
The employee told me that it'd honestly be cheaper to buy a new one, given they have a 50% off coupon online. No need to print, just pull it up on your smart phone.
Cost of fixing old frame = $25, with no promises that it would be returned to its original state. Cost of new frame = $20.
The gentleman walked me through all my options and graciously picked out a frame that he thought would match the other two hanging on my wall (I brought in pictures), PLUS he installed the frame hanger free of charge and nicely packaged the glass piece which I opted not to use for now. -

I am HIGHLY disappointed in this place.
I needed a bike jersey framed for my boss and decided on the Cupertino location because the reviews were better than the one down the street from my work. Upon walking in, the associates were very friendly.
I asked for suggestion what they thought was best to match the jersey. Price was not a factor in getting it framed. The total cost was over 1200 dollars. (luckily, I had a 60% off coupon). After deciding on how to get the jersey framed, (the color choices of mats, etc), they gave me a date that it would be ready. March 2nd, they said, I asked if it could be finished any earlier, so they looked at the calendar and told me February 29th would be the earliest, so I said okay great. February 29th right? I even confirmed it!
I was pretty excited because, they were so professional and so helpful.. I thought, good thing I chose this location. They even helped out a lady that broke the glass on her frame, they agreed to replace it for her.
Boy was I wrong. Fast forward, come March 1st. I drove from work to go pick up my frame (pretty excited actually to see the final product) I walked in, at first they couldn't find the order, then they told me it wasn't done. WHAT?! If you told me it would be done on the 29th, the LEAST you could have done is call me and let me know that its not done. I was peeved. The girl told me that it would be done the next day.
Guess what? its "the next day" I called and asked if it was done to save me the trip, "oh its done, but let me double check' I wait 10 minutes on the phone.. "oh he said he's going to TRY and get it done today, can you call back at 5 just to see if it's done?"
IRRITATED with this whole experience, 1 star for their service, but gave them an extra star for their selection of frames, not much, but they had some good ones.. I will update my review once the framing gets done... if it EVER gets done. -

This Aaron Brother's location is pretty small and the selection is rather limited, although I did find what I wanted here. The one employee working (the store was empty anyways) was super friendly and helpful.
Although they might not have a whole lot to choose from, they do have higher end art supplies and I think the price is fair. I got a really pretty wood sketch box here today for only $7.99.
I was also looking through the prints that they have and found some cute ones but I was disappointed that they didn't seem to have any Andy Warhol. ):
They also had some really good sales going on (Buy any paper pad and get another for $.01) and the clearance shelves were certainly interesting to browse through.
Solid store, but I still have to go to Michael's or University Art for some of my stuff. -

Very disappointed. Spent $100 + on having a print framed and not only did they hang it upside down (doh) but they misaligned the print so a portion was hidden behind the border and also there was a fleck of paper inside the glass.
They had also made another border for me for a standard large frame which was badly made ... I had to cut 2 mm off one of the sides. -

Great store, small but I like the stuff that they carry. If you can't find it at Michael's and a bigger store isn't around, try them.
Their website has coupons on it that can be printed out.
I like higher-end art supplies and they seem to have them so stop there from time to time when I need something fast.
Employees are really helpful. Nice, inviting store. -

Been to this store countless times, but my last visit was the most memorable. Mostly because I dropped a ridiculous amount of coin on a lot of champagne and gilt frames hoping to do a family wall collage that rivaled Jenny Garth's as seen in the March issue of InStyle Magazine...but also because the place was pretty much empty at 6pm on a weekday and the staff was so incredibly helpful even though they were busy with framing projects in the back area.
A ton of inventory, I can always find something that I want to take home with me here. I went in particularly because they were having a 50% off sale and they had the cutest light blue driftwood rustic style from in the window with the 50% sticker that was MEANT to be mine.
But a ton of the frames I came home with were also 50% off which was fab. So I made out like a bandit. Too bad that the wall collage thing isn't working out, I understimated the amount of frames I needed to really do the wall collage where I wanted to, the wall is much taller than I remembered in the store & it would be too cost prohibitive to do it the way I want to...so I'm going to return most of the frames to AB. And having returned items in the past, typically the process is painless with receipt, so hopefully it will be the same this time.
Thanks AB for having what I thought I needed and way more, I will SO be back next time I see something in the window that wants to come home with me. -

Man have they been helpful.
I got a print framed, and they have worked with me and my pickyness. The first frame that came in was scratched, and they ordered a new one, no questions asked.
The second frame came in, and it had some marks on it too, so we didn't even bother using it. The guys were straight-up in telling me the new frame had issues, showed it to me, and didn't try to argue or get us to go with it.
Instead the framers worked with me and my better half going through all different kinds of frames that would look good and not show the same kind of marks.
They were patient and professional.
I would go back, even if they are pricey (which they are).
So if you want to spend the money for a high quality frame and matting, they will work with you to get it right. -

Several months ago, I finished a cross-stitch piece and took it to this store to have it framed. Though the cost was a little more than I expected, the service and final result were excellent.
In addition to their framing services, they also sell a variety of readymade frames and a small selection of art supplies. -

Great place to buy picture frames and art supplies. They have a massive selection of frames and pre-cut mattes for the average user.
Be sure to go online for their coupons. They ususally have a 40% or 50% off one regular priced item coupon here:

So impressed with the quality of customer service at this location. Justine and Erick made my day. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will be loyal to this Aaron Brothers location.
I've also written a review of another Aaron Brothers (725 Sunnyvale Saratoga Road, Sunnyvale, CA) where the customer service was so horrible that it ruined my whole day. If you need to decide between the two locations I would suggest you go to the one on Stevens Creek. -

Fantastic customer service.
Bought a huge mirror here that was $250 regularly, clearance priced at only $99. The customer service folks were super nice and helpful. However they didn't wrap the frame with anything on the way out so bring a blanket or something to make sure the frame stays nice.
Would recommend highly. -

Great selection of pens.
Especially enjoy their:
Micron 005 Archival Ink Pens (in many colors--great for tiny, teeny, itsy bitsy note-taking script for the super nerdy)
Pilot Precise V5 Extra Fine Ink Pens (in many colors--great for general notetaking, but the colors do fade after a while and if left in the sun. Also, they exploded on me once when I travelled with them and had a change in altitude. Not a pretty sight)
Cheapest when theyre on sale!! -

Back in my old stomping grounds before the burger bash I went and took a looksy in search for (DUH) frames for my cupcake painting and some other smaller piece of art.. yes I have a cupcake painting in my office... The women working here yesterday were total gems and super friendly. I got exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price :-).

So I walked in and they were nice. Too nice... just kidding!
The lady was really nice. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed help. I appreciate the fact that she didn't feel the need to follow me around to make sure I didn't steal things. Thanks for the trust :)
They had a great deal on canvases and frames: buy one, get one for a penny. Although this brings the price down to the same as sale prices for canvas at University Art and sale prices for frames at Micheal's, it's nice to know I have another choice and more options on sizes, quality, ect.
They had a good amount of art supplies, but I didn't spend too much time in there. The prices looked reasonable, or at least for sure not more expensive than University Art.
This place is great! Why did I just barely find out about it?! :Z -
Review from Amy D.
This store is a bit smaller than most of the other Aaron Brothers stores I've been to, but the woman who helped me today (tall blonde in black pants and lace top) was really helpful and friendly. I asked her about how to install the sawtooth picture hangers on the back of the frame I purchased and she showed me exactly how to do it.

I have had all my velvet Elvis portraits framed here. I would not trust just anyone to frame those priceless pieces purchased over a span of 20 years of relentless truck-stop shopping. I also recently had a nude self-portrait needlepoint stretched at this location. Much easier than going to the gym, but my arms do hurt a bit. Staff was helpful, if slightly sadistic.

Great selection of frames, obviously..... I had a frame made special for something I wanted to display in my house and I was able to get exactly what I had in mind, in terms of color, size, design, etc. The service was friendly, and even the advice was good. I also bought a frame for- regular pictures as a gift for my grandmother. I thought it was pricy though, and I think I could get a better price somewhere else, but I guess you pay for the service and big selection. I'd definitely recommend this place overall for customized projects, but it might be too pricy for regular stuff
