I hate to say I'm giving a very generous 3 stars here. I want to like them, I really do. I've gone several times to purchase frames, and that's always been a breeze. But dealing with having a picture custom framed is awful. I had one picture framed months ago. The guy helping me out seemed to have some major social issues, because he was very awkward to deal with. I was given a pickup date, so I went over one afternoon. Not only was my picture not ready, but I wasn't notified in advance. I was supposed to just know through osmosis that I'd have to come back another day? The same awkward guy didn't apologize or show any emotion whatsoever. He said someone would call when it was ready. 1-2 weeks later it was finally ready. I could've handled the delay because stuff happens, but the fact that I wasn't notified was a turn off. But ultimately, they did a fantastic job, so I'll let that slip.
However my experience on Saturday was similar to Devora's. I seriously don't know where they find these people. There are millions of overqualified people who need work, and instead these bozos are working instead. (I actually feel bad referring to some of their workers as "bozos", but I can't think of a better word.) But anyhoo, Saturday was my busy errand day, and I still had other places to go afterwords. I'd been up since 8 am, and it was around 4 maybe. I had two pictures that needed custom framing - one for the kitchen, one for my boyfriend's birthday. The guy who helped me was this young dude. He seemed like he had good intentions, just the execution was very poor. He told me to check out some custom frames, so I left the desk to explore. When I got back to the desk, some older couple was there, not realizing that I was in the middle of being helped. The clerk offered to help both of us. That turned into the clerk taking the time to help them while I stood there for a good two minutes doing nothing. While I'm normally a patient person, I got very angry very quickly. If I was at a supermarket and he was the cashier, would he take the person behind me? NO! Anyhoo, I found the guy and told him I was going across the street to Petco and I'd be right back. He and the older woman seemed shocked at my "impatience". Sorry, but I had things to do, and I was blatantly ignored by some selfish older couple who couldn't give a sh*t about my day. So I came back a few minutes later. I was like, ok, let's just get this overwith. The clerk apologized, and while visibly pissed, I explained that I had other errands to run afterwords. Nevermind I WAS FIRST. So anyway, I wanted the 13x19 frame in black, and here's the icing on the cake - oooooo guess what we're out of black frames! How about brown? How about NO I just wasted like 15 minutes of my time, including driving. At that point I just huffed out. I had another picture that needed work, but at this point, both pictures can be framed elsewhere. I understand that inventory can be low, and had I not gotten dissed, I probably would've just had a special order done or something like that.
Again, I really want to like this place, but that was just so not cool of the clerk to take the people who came in after me. I refuse to be treated like that as a customer. I hope to come back someday and have a more pleasant experience, but I don't plan on going back anytime soon. Thankfully for me there's another frame store closer to home. -

Incredibly rude floor personnel, disorganized, unknowledgeable, stumped by the simplest questions and then sarcastic. Go anywhere else. If I could give negative stars I would.

I came to this AB location to get a frame and have it matted. I walk in and the store was empyt (no other customers). I ask for help to pick out a frame and 1- they dont have much selection and 2 - the guy that helped me seemed irritated and unwilling to really help me. When I picked the frame it was time to pick the matte and I asked for his opinion and again he seemed irritated and no very helpful. After I chose the matte I wanted I asked if they could frame it for me and the guy responded that they were too busy to help but that he would give me a screw driver so that I could do it myself at the store. WTF? If this is a custome framing store shouldnt he help me? And why would you turn away a customer when the store wasn't even busy?
I don't plan on coming back here again. -

How Aaron brothers stays in business is hard to fathom. their collection of frames is terrible, they never have the right sized precut mats, and the staff always appear to have gotten their training from a middle school life skills course, though that might even be beyond their skill level. Somehow I always end up going back, because there are few other places to buy frames. It's always a bad idea. This store was no exception; Diana behind the mat counter was particularly unhelpful. Here's how the dialogue went:
Me, approaching the mat counter, hopeful, friendly: Hi, I'd like to get a mat cut.
Diana: "The computer shuts down at 6pm"
Me: Oh, is it 6pm?
Diana: Yeah.
Me: Okay, could you just take the order by hand and process it tomorrow? I can come pick up the mat tomorrow.
Diana (reluctantly): Well...I don't know.
Me: It will be like the old days, you can just write down the information and input it tomorrow into the system. Okay?
Diana: Well...I guess I could do that. Do you know what color you want?
Me: White would be great.
Diana: We're out of white.
Me: You're out of white mat?
Diana: Yeah.
Me: Can you order more?
Diana: If I write down the order it will take a week. (Here she says something unintelligible about how processing an order manually takes days longer than if she writes it down).
Me: Really?
Diana: Yeah.
Me: So you can't help me get a white mat cut for pick up in a couple of days?
Diana: No. The computer is off now.
Huh? The irony is, Diana also explained they were getting ready for a training course that evening. Wow, thanks Aaron Brothers for another memorable shopping experience.
Hopefully one day they will finally be replaced by a real frame store that actually has products worth buying and staff who know how to sell them. Truly awful shopping experience! -

Ok first of all let me say that the manager ( tall skinny dude) is a good guy and has helped me out on some last minute projects. He cuts mats, he knows about frames, probably shoots and has general knowledge about your artistic qs. Everyone else in the store says nothing, does nothing and you have to wait at the counter for 20 mins b4 anyone recognizes you . I returned some easels I didn't need and the woman ringing me up acted like I was trying to pull some shady move on the store. Sorry sister, I probably spend over $900 at your store in the last year, Just didn't need what I thought I did. It very strange! Anyways she had this suspicious attitude and was quite rude which at then end of the day is quite annoying. Anyways some of their stuff is super inexpensive and nice, other stuff is expensive and made like *&^%.....I give it a %60....Probably find a new frame store though......

I don't typically have a need for art stores, but I purchased 2 photos from a friend of mine and thought "tis time to frame. They have irregular sizes in stock in my case 14x20. Sale until January 25th so i bought one frame and got another for a penny! Seriously awesome.
The girls working there were very chill helpful and knowledgeable. 500 photo album w/ notes -$20.
They carry some arts supplies, gifts, and very nice posters as well as provide custom framing pic restoration. and photo to canvas transfers. -

I needed hardware to hang a painting but they were unable to answer questions about which hardware was what I needed. I asked if they could open the packaging because if I could see inside I'd know if it was the right one. They said no, I'd have to buy it and return it if it didn't work. I said no thank you and went to Home Depot where I found answers to my questions and a cheaper price.

I had a positive customer service experience here. I purchased about 5 of the ready-made frames one day, but when I went to place the poster in one and put the cardboard back in, the frame's glass broke. I took the frame back to Aaron Brothers the next day and asked if they'd replace the glass for me. They said yes right away. They not only replaced the glass, they also put the poster in the glass for me (maybe they were afraid I'd break it again!) and attached the mounting clip to the back. I really appreciate their help, and I'll definitely be back.

I'd give 5 NEGATIVE stars if I could - all based on two experiences with a salesperson named DIANE.
On both occasions, I was told that normally Aaron Brothers does NOT accept returns items that were purchased from a different store. On my 2nd visit, I was told that she shouldn't return the item because they were about to do inventory. Are you serious?? 1) what kind of stupid policy is this and 2) Aaron Bros - so THIS is who you want representing your company at the store level huh? -

Large selection. Sluggish service. Slow turn around. Didn't complete my order. Only called me back 1 of the 3 times they said they would. Finally got my order finished after 6 weeks. Not a good first impression.

This place opened up more than 6 months ago, taking over the Blockbuster Video location if you're a local to the area. Anyway, I passed by it time and again, never really going in because well, I typically don't need frames or whatever so why bother?
Well, I then hit a period where I wanted to change things up at home, including some redecorating, which included getting some new frames to replace old looking ones as well as getting new frames for photos and pictures that I recently took and/or acquired. Well I drove by in January and they offered their one cent frame sale which is you buy a frame at regular price and get any frame of equal or lesser value for only a penny! Being on a budget of sorts, I happily purchased several frames! Thoroughly satisfied with my selection as they offer a wide variety of frames.
Well July rolled around and I was thinking I wanted to get this other picture I had framed and they had their sale again. Apparently it's twice a year once I saw the sign again and purchased some more frames AND a picture that I found there that I wanted to frame. So all in all, I really enjoyed the fact that I could get my frames and get them at a deal. The parking is pretty good, although they share it with Petco and it can be a little competitive to get a space depending on Petco's weekend promotion. Being an animal lover myself, it's NOT a problem! The staff there is nice and helpful when needed. I haven't gone in for custom framing yet, but everyone there has been nice to me so I expect the same quality of service. But I do have to add the tip that if you're on a budget and want frames, definitely wait a little for the one cent sale. I'm assuming it's January and July of every year, but don't quote me on it! You can save some cash and get some awesome frames to put your loved ones in! Happy shopping and saving! -

Aaron Brothers is usually a good place to get anything that you want framed. They frame everything from certificates, to pictures and even bills if you want them to. I went the other day to get my fifth grade diploma framed. I know it sounds funny but I did it. I love this place because they do not discriminate when it comes to framing. I have been to other places where they said they weren't going to frame certain things.
