Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me? Don't cha? Don't cha baby?
Okay, that's just silly because I'm a married middle-aged woman and certainly no longer "hot." But I thought that opening line was adorable. And besides, if you do check out the Aacardi Salon, they're bound to make you look great.
I recently moved to this area and was looking desperately for a nice salon. I'd tried a couple of dubious looking places along Gulf Blvd, and they freaked me out. Yes, they were cheap, but one had paint chipping from the walls and the other one should probably be shut down by the health authorities. Ewww.
So I checked Yelp and saw that Aacardi Salon had great reviews. (Why didn't I do that in the first place, duh?!?) When you walk in, you're greeted by several cute young girls at the front desk. They are down to earth and friendly and did not give off the snobby vibe seen in many upscale salons.
They gave me a welcome pack with coupons! On my first visit, I had a microderm facial with Kayla. She really knew her stuff and was very friendly. We ended up becoming Facebook friends, for heaven's sakes! On my second visit, I had a pedicure with Dawn, one of the best pedicures ever.
Next time, I'm going to have my hair cut and colored. They tell me it's easy to find a good hair stylist. Just tell the front desk gals what you're looking for and they'll match you up with the stylist that best meets your needs. Most of the employees at Aacardi have been there for years, a nod to the great work environment and professionalism of the staff.
The salon itself is big and bright and beautiful. It is a tad more expensive than I'm used to paying, but they do such a great job, you'll leave there looking great and feeling pampered. -

I've had my nails done here by three different people and all were fantastic. Great jobs and very friendly.
I use Diana for my hair cuts and she is great! What a memory on her, too
They offer coffee and wine also. Very relaxing. -

I can only review currently about Aacardi's hair services, but this is a great place to go for a fabulous cut and to find a stylist that you can grow with. Five years ago, I decided to make an appointment, and the receptionist assigned me to master stylist Michelle Fritz. Since then, I have never looked back. Michelle is fantastic! She is talented, always willing to try something new, and is great for people like me who never know how they want their hair cut. She is excellent with color and creating modern yet manageable styles. When I wanted to go brunette, she convinced me that red was a better choice for my skin tone and she was completely right. I've moved to 3 different states since I first started going to Michelle and I still make plans to return to her when I'm home. She's just that good!
Aacardi is a very nice salon but not stuffy. The employees make you feel welcome and i can tell that they tend to retain their stylists and clients for a long time. I definitely recommend it for any full service salon. Yes, it's a bit pricy, but you will not go away disappointed. -

I just moved to the area and tried out Aacardi for a cut and a hi-light. My stylist was great and everyone there was very friendly. I loved how my hair turned out! The only problem is that its so expensive. I ended up paying $173 for a cut and hilight, and that is not including gratuity. Also, they won't let you put gratuity on a credit card, so that was bad for me because I never carry cash on me!
I did really enjoy the service here, but unfortunately I just can't afford to go back :(
