If you are looking for an awesome electrician, look no further!
Sammy is great!
I needed to get two recessed light cans fixed, he also added pendants and fixed some 3-way switched that I messed up before :)
What can I say, he did an excellent job, his prices are great and he also is a very nice guy - someone you can have a good conversation with!
He arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards - just perfect.
I highly do recommend him!!!
I am sure we will use his help again!

Your help led me to Sammy, an honest and great electrician!
Sammy helped me with installing the ceiling fan I've bought from Home Depot.
His price is very good compared to Home Depot's contracted electrician.
So of course I trust all you yelpers before just blindly going with Home Depot's contracted worker.
He came on time, and was professional, and seems honest.
He did need to replace the box because the old one with a ceiling light was a plastic one. That I understand and the price he quote me wasn't so bad.
So I went with it, and Sammy did the job very efficiently (in 1 hour).
He gave me a discount on the labor of changing the box, and he cleaned up the work site as well as took all the trash away for me.
He is great, would hire again for any other electric problems in the house or at my work! -

Ignore the single bad review. Sammy was awesome!
I'm usually wary when it comes to hiring a general contractor or repairman. I've been burned in the past. They always seem to overcharge or upsell services you don't want or need.
When our upstairs outlets stopped working, I went to the circuit breaker to reset it. But once I applied pressure to the switch and saw sparks... I immediately knew I was in over my head.
The next morning, I gave Sammy a call and he said he could come by within a few hours. Not only did he arrive early, he listened to my problem, diagnosed the same issue, and was done with the work in under 30 minutes.
No upsell of wanting to replace the whole panel, no ridiculous markup of the single breaker I needed. I gladly parted with my $75 today.
I would definitely recommend him to any one in need of his services. -

Sammy was great. I called him and got right through. He gave me a ball park estimate on the phone. Came out same day to fix and replace my fuses which were old and crusty. Sammy came in right where he said and cleaned up a mess of a fuse box.

Sammy has done so much work for us and is fantastic. He has put in ceiling fans, chandeliers, and all of our canned lighting and speakers in our family room. He is always kind and courteous. *** NOTE: The bad review is obviously a competitor. Sammy does have a contractors license and his work is top notch. He has done work for us for years and is one of the kindest and most hard working person you will ever meet!

Woohoo! As good as it gets! Run don't walk to use Sammy. I am as picky as it gets.
I like honest work for honest pay. He did a full day of work at my home. He installed three pendant lights, replaced undercabinet lights, repaired outside lighting and diagnosed a much needed fountain pump replacement.
He is a true professional, which is difficult at best to find these days. I wish I could clone him into other vendors that I have to work with. He also recommended an awesome handyman.
Will use him again in an heartbeat! -

I found Sammy based on his Yelp reviews and he was great. I had him come out for a job on a Saturday and he was able to diagnose the problem and do a temporary fix as he was willing to work with my Home Warranty company which requires they talk to him about the fix first. They weren't open when we tried to call them late on Saturday and he left my property without taking any kind of payment. We both worked with the home warranty company and came to a workable solution and Sammy came back and finished the job the next weekend with a great price for my portion of the bill.
I'll definitely call him again any time I need any electrical work done on my house. -

Sammy is the best person I've ever hired to work on my house... and I've hired a lot.
Pros:

I really don't understand how someone could write a bad review for him. I received quotes from multiple highly rated electricians on yelp. All were friendly and seemed nice. However, Sammy's prices were the best.
He did a day and a half's worth of work around my house and he could not have done a better job for me.

Sammy, I don't appreciate your lies.
First of all, an hour after you left my house saying everything is fixed, the breaker tripped. I called you right away and asked you to come back and fix it. You DID NOT offer to return. Instead, you said you'd come by Tuesday, which meant I'd have to live with the tripping breaker for 3 days.
Secondly, you DID NOT spend $75 for the materials. You charged 2 hours of labor ($75 x 2 = $150) plus a breaker that you bought from Home Depot ($55). I still have your receipt, so don't try to lie. Not to mention that you spent 2 hours total in my house, and half the time you spent it for so-called "Free Estimate", and another half an hour to get your material from Home Depot. Yet you charged us the full 2 hours of labor plus material cost. Watch out people, his Free Estimate is not really Free after all.
Because you did not fix the problem that I asked you for, and because you refused to come back and fix it. I got another electrician and he fixed it right away; the back of the main breaker was burned and almost melted to a dangerous point. You didn't even think of opening my breaker when I constantly said "The main breaker is tripping all the time". Are you even certified? By the way, the other guy also honored his "Free Estimate" deal. So I only asked for the refund for the portion that you said you completed which was totally worthless and specifically asked for the receipt from Home Depot, so I can return the useless breaker, which supposedly was "$55".
You refused to pay back at first and later when I pointed out all these things, you simply said "fine" and sent us the original check and NO Receipt! So I paid you a full one hour of labor ($75) for fixing our master bedroom outlets, although it only took you about 25 minutes. I thought I was being nice paying you for an hour! Oh and I could not give you $55 for the material because YOU DID NOT SEND US THE RECEIPT. Out of curiosity, I even went to Home Depot to find the breaker, which was certainly not $55. So I wonder why you didn't send us the receipt.
I don't understand how the less than $45 material becomes $55, and now $75? Does the breaker have progressive value with time?
And how about graciously accepting customers' opinion and trying to improve your service quality rather than challenging with lies and self-justification?1 Previous Review: Show all »

Picked AAA based on the reviews here, couldn't be happier with the work they're doing. We added recessed lighting to our living room, ceiling fans to our bedrooms and an extra outlet in our upstairs hallway. Sammy quoted us with a fair price and we set up the appointment for that week. The job will take a day and a half, but after one day of work 3 of our 4 bedrooms are wired for fans, the outlet is in and our recessed lighting looks and works fantastically.
Sammy and his assistant took care not to make unnecessary holes in our walls when running wires, really treated our home like it was his own. Sammy had some great ideas for lighting; though I think of myself as a pretty capable do-it-yourselfer Sammy had ideas above and beyond what I could have done, worth every penny!
I'm so pleased with their work I've recommended AAA Pacific Electric Inc to my family. -

I found Sammy on Yelp when I moved into my new home. Being new to the area, I needed to get some electrical work done and the quotes I was getting did not thrill me (North of $3500)
Sammy was quick to respond and came in at half the price. He was pleasant to speak to and once I hired him, we added on to the work with recessed lighting, TV mount as well as surround sound stereo wires through the wall with a pipe installed in the wall for easy future access.
I will forever have Sammy in my speed dial for electrical work. I HIGHLY recommend Sammy for electrical work! I'm just sorry it took me this long to express. This is my first review ever on any site and it may be my only. I am honored that it's for Sammy because nobody deserved a 5 star review like Sammy does!

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. I called today after 5:20 P.M. which I believe was after business hours. By 6:00, Sammy called me. I asked him to call my tenant and arrange a time with my tenant to fix the breaker because all bathroom lights were out. The earliest I was expecting him to show up was tomorrow. Apparently, he arranged with my tenant to come right away. He was in and out in 20 minutes according to my tenant. He quoted me a service fee and gave me a more than reasonable estimate for the breaker. Not only did he fix the breaker, he fixed an outside light that was not turning on for free.
He definitely has my future business. Thank-you, Sammy! -

i called sammy the electrician based on the great reviews here (well, except for the one cranky one - and there is always one of these) and was very pleased. he diagnosed the problem we had with outside switches immediately and did a fine job with inside installations. he came exactly at 8:30 am as he said he would and cleaned up after himself perfectly. his price was fair and his manner extremely courteous and professional. i will be glad to recommend him to friends.

I chose AAA Pacific Electric because of the numerous good reviews and he was great! He quoted me the work and I had a few small things like changing my recess light that is 20 ft high and my kitchen recess light that my husband thought he broke the socket. He only added $10 to these work that he quoted me. Very honest and more than reasonable. Would definitely refer the electrician, Sammy and/or use him again.

We contacted this electrician, Sammy, whom a friend highly recommended, for some work on our home. We needed some outlets installed in our garage and some minor work on the inside of the house. We set up an appointment very easily, Sammy was right on time and gave us a fair estimate for the work. The work he did was excellent! He was very meticulous, cleaned up after himself, used the highest quality materials, and made the work look like it was part of the original house construction, not added on later.
We would highly recommend Sammy for your home electrical needs. Fair price for excellent work! -

Sammy was flexible in working on a Saturday morning when I called needing him to head out to fix the breaker for my tenant. The sprinkler system (during a heat wave!) as well as a whole range of lights inside the house were out. He worked around my tenants availability, was on time and got the job done in less than an hour. He charged me a reasonable fee and honored the Yelp discount. Sammy was very professional and so easy to work with - he simplified my life as a landlord and I will definitely call him again.

I called AAA Pacific Electric based on the reviews I saw here and I got to say...Sammy is the man! When it comes to professionalism, service and outstanding work...Sammy is the guy to call. I had him do all sorts of work both inside and outside my home in Aliso Viejo. To give you an idea; an outside socket for my front yard, an extra socket for a fridge in the garage, 4 ceiling fan hookups with switches, recessed lighting...He is the first service professional I have ever worked with that calls you back immediately and is on time. He also works with your schedule! His work is impeccable, clean and fast. The guy works hard and knows what he is doing. I could go on and on about him...to make a long story short, I am thoroughly impressed.

Not knowing any electricians, I found AAA PE at this site. Sammy came out on 3/28/11. I had a problem with my bathroom outlets not working. He was able to pinpoint the problem instantly! Not only was be reasonable and fair, he had excellent customer relations! I would HIGHLY recommend Sammy to anyone. I will certainly use him in the future.

Amazing service! My house is a former owner DIY electrical nightmare and he cleverly found workarounds to fix our electrical issue. He was personable, friendly, worked fast, quoted an extremely fair price, and corrected a few other safety issues outside the scope of the agreed work as he found them without extra charge. We will absolutely use AAA again and recommend it to everyone we know. Best electrician we have ever hired!

Sammy is great! I had recessed lighting installed by a prior contractor and they were burning out and poorly wired. I read about Sammy here on yelp and he came out, gave me a quote, arrived on time for the work and did a GREAT job. He replaced the 6 lights, was EXTREMELY clean and efficient, professional and had great suggestions. He gave me 10% off per his Yelp add and I highly recommend him.

I had a problem with my power at one of my office suites. Sammy came out on a service call (30 minutes after I called) to provide an estimate. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and get the power running again. It was a relatively minor fix and since that was the case, he ended up just fixing it for free. What a great guy! I will definitely be calling him again for further electrical needs.

i was referred to Sammy, by a good friend of mine. he was exactly as advertised by her. he was punctual, very neat, always answered his phone and a very hard worker. he also was nice enough to offer to hang some pictures i had laying around at no charge. i tired to give him a tip but he would not accept it. his pricing is more than fair and i've already given his name out to 4 friends. im already planning on having him do another job he quoted me on. i cant say enough nice things about him, other than he's great, and you will be more than happy wtih his work!!!
