One of the first things this guy said to me was "why didn't you get a lab, don't you know pitbulls kill people?" That was in reference to me seeking help with my dog who shows aggressive behavior towards other dogs. So I explained to him that I got a Pit because I wanted to adopt a dog that was in a shelter who was close to being put to sleep. Now what kind of dog trainer says a statement like that? One that obviously has little experience with dogs - and people.

I never talked to this guy for more than 5 minutes but that's because he sounded like an SS officer - super confrontational on the phone. Most of the time we spent talking he kept telling me about how pitbulls kill and how they are bread to kill people and dogs because of so and so. This would be great information if I hadn't already adopted a Pit and become fully invested in this pup's future.
I told him that I didn't agree with his statements that pitbulls are by nature dangerous dogs - because I believe the environment is what makes the behavior of the animal. He told me "you need to reevaluate your thinking process"click. end of conversation.
Just one phone conversation did it for me. I got seriously bad vibes from this guy and had to post this review ASAP! -

Unless your pet is completely out of control, don't do it. His methods border on fear and cruelty. Maybe that works on aggressive dogs, but I don't believe it's for everyone.
I was very disappointed on the aggressive treatment to my sweet dog who had separation anxiety. What he did, didn't help at all.1 Previous Review: Show all »
