These guys are great...and honest! I've owned buildings in the city for years and never needed more than touch up tuckpointing but this time I had to rebuild a parapet wall and they came in and kicked _ _ _. Everyone from Dan Kruk the estimator to the front desk folks and especially the masons were fantastic. I needed the work done on an emergency basis and they were working within 4 days. I called three other masonry companies to get competing bids...two never got back to me and the third one spent half an hour assessing the job but never bid it. I found AAA on this yelp site and angies list and they deserve the 5 stars...They also left the job site spotless.

My business partner and I run a small building inspection firm. We specialize in diagnosing problems and specifying repairs for masonry structures. We've worked with Brent for several years and he has always been professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. If he charges more it's because he does the work properly.

I've worked with AAA1 Masonry for several years now and can't say enough good things about them.  They are professional from start to finish.  Brent Moore has an amazing ability to talk to any homeowner, board member or property manager as an educator, no matter their level of masonry expertise.  He will tackle a job in its entirety or attempt to phase the process in order to address issues in a cost-effective manner.  I've also worked with owner Rob Reese who always goes above and beyond for customer service.

I used AAA Masonry three years ago and was very pleased with their initial assessment, quote and work; they even returned to check on some items. I reviewed three companies and they were the most professional of the three. I continue to work with Brent Moore and trust his professional opinion and experience. They are Angies List approved and rated (even have a coupon in Angies List) and stood the test time. Not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get and you want the job done correct, not cheap.

Was recommended by my inspector.  They charge $200 for a consultation.  They don't really spend much time actually looking at what's wrong.  I think they may be ok at doing very simple things, but if you have a problem, I'm not sure they will be able to help.

Rob and AAA-1 came to us as a recommendation from a friend, a strong recommendation and we're glad we acted on it.  Rob provided us a quote for work nearly a year ago.  At the time, he came over, explained to us what was happening with our brick (1897 workmans cottage) and the immediate and long term impact of non-action vs. resolution.  Unfortunately other issues became priorities and we had to put the project on hold.  I followed up with Rob nearly a year later as we were seeking to install a new gangway and needed the brickwork resolved.  Rob came by once again and spent nearly an hour with us reviewing the current state of our wall/foundation and the revised estimate of work - with a few options.  We agreed on a price and set a time.  Due to the impending cold weather, and size of our project (128 sqf), Rob was able to slide us in between a couple of his other projects.  After a few rain delays, we were on our way.

Andrew (foreman) and the crew showed up on time, Saturday morning - in fact a few minutes early and set to work immediately.  The site was set and work underway within about 20 minutes.  At one time there were twelve workers on site.  It literally looked like an ant farm - workers moving in and out of each other.  At one point the crew had set-up the mortar mixed on our neighbor's parkway.  We requested they move it so as to avoid damage on our neighbor's property and within 10 minutes it was moved.   Rob even showed up on site about 30 minutes in.  He wanted to check-in to ensure all was OK.  He took 10-15 minute to talk with us and ensure we were comfortable with the ongoing work.

AAA-1 did a great job from set-up to repair to clean-up.  In fact we had to leave to take the boys to soccer and when we returned, the work was done, yard cleaned (swept and rinsed) and sidewalk clear as if they'd never been there - except for the great 'new' wall.

These guys do a great job and have a long history in the business and the city (Rob bought the company from his father).  We highly recommend them.

When it comes to something daunting and expensive like tuckpointing, it's sometimes hard to know who to trust. You can look in the Yellow Pages and see who looks more reputable than others, but still, it's hard to tell.

I contacted multiple businesses about getting a quote for tuckpointing on our new construction condo building. Rob Reese with AAA-1 Masonry was the obvious choice. First off, there wasn't endless phone tag. We set an appointment right away, and he showed up. I don't know how many other companies I contacted that they just blew me off, or we completely unreliable.

Secondly, he looked at my building, and schooled me on all the things that were wrong. It's scary how much garbage goes on with new construction buildings, and Rob explained everything in easy to understand terms. However, he was aware of our budget and recommended what were the necessary steps. He gave a thorough and very detailed quote... nothing's left to question.

You get what you pay for, and with AAA-1 you are paying for quality, honest work. Your home is the biggest investment you'll make in your life, and why cut corners when you can have a competitive quote from the leader in the business. Otherwise, you'll just end up spending more a year down the line when you call Rob to fix what the last person did to your building.

Get it done right the first time, call AAA-1!

I was contacted by Brent in reference to an email I sent for our association asking for a estimate for some tuckpointing repairs.  Last year we had him out to quote some roof repairs along with other estimates we gathered.  As with any other assoc decision we picked the best quote for the work and it was not this company.  So when Brent contacted me today about setting up an appointment to check out the building for additional tuckpointing repairs we need done, he began by asking what I wanted, and then proceeded to tell me that he's not in the business of offering free advice and wanted to make sure that he's not wasting his time coming out again.  I told him that as with any other big expense we as an association always ask for multiple estimates to make sure we were doing the best thing for the building.  I told him all I wanted was for him to say, "You need this, and this is how much it'll cost", not a book report or free advice, which is really in the best interest of him trying to bring in more business.  At this point he said "Well then maybe this isn't the right fit."  So I said "ok, bye".  I really don't know why he feels like we in some way took advantage of him in the past, but if you're not willing to spend 10 minutes looking at a building and providing an estimate, you're not going to build you're business or your reputation.  Good Luck if you try to contact them for estimates!
