dropped in without an appointment and didn't have to wait.
in and out in about 10 minutes.
Property is clean.
Mohammad is a pleasant and professional guy.
Total price with coupon was $45.00 ~ much less than surrounding Burlingame companies. -

My experience was perfect. I brought my car in, and was done in about 10 minutes. The guy working there was pleasant, and even spent a few moments reviewing my results with me. I didn't have my DMV paperwork, but he could enter the results into the DMV system. I recommend him highly.

Came here to get my car smogged on a sat late morning. In and out in about 15 min. Had a coupon for $29 and change but ended up being $40 coz of fees. Well that's about the same as most places I got quoted for around the area. Overall a pleasant and hassle free experience

I printed the coupon out from online - $29.75 + $8.25 for the certificate. I called ahead to check that they could smog check my particular car. The smog check took about 15 minutes. The guy was not talkative, but I got him to answer a few questions. Not at all a shady place, just a small, one-car garage. I will definitely go back.

Horrible service and very shady. I found a coupon in the Penny Saver for a discounted smog check and took it in. I was then told that the price on the coupon was not valid for my vehicle because it was newer and bigger. There was nothing stated on the coupon or the website that says this. It was very mis-leading.
After the check was completed, the owner/tech tells me that my car did not pass and that a light was on that caused it to fail. He then tells me the light was on before he started the test so it was going to fail anyways. I've been to other places where if they know it's going to fail, they tell you and not test it. They inform you to get it fixed. Not here. He tested it and still charged me, then says its $29 for a retest. Not a free retest, but a charge.
I go back after the car is fixed up and do the retest and he tells me that it's going to be more than the original retest price noted. Just out for money. -

-1 star for the least friendly local business I've been to in the neighborhood
I needed a smog check and this place is right around the corner from my house. I printed out a coupon per another reviewer's suggestion and drove over. The proprietor was sitting in a back room and when he walked over looked at me like I'd just interrupted his day. He took my coupon and said "here, sign this and this, it'll be about 15." I sat on the couch for 15 minutes. He finished, handed me a receipt and car keys, then turned around and walked back to what he was doing before being so rudely interrupted. i got in my car and drove home. This was my first ever smog check. I'm all grown up now but somehow I feel violated. -

Quick service turnaround. I am car sitting for a buddy and it needed to be smog checked. Did a quick search around the area for people who have smog checked a Lotus and this guy came up. He was quick, and courteous. Not chatty, but showed deference and care for my friend's car. Would come back again. Thanks Mohammed.

Brought my car in to have a smog on a Saturday morning. Was in and out within 20 minutes! Great& quick service. Like others' said, print the coupon on their website and it's $45 out the door. Some ppl were complaining about the price, it's $35 +$8 certificate fee AND $2 fee to send it to DMV. The $2 is pretty stnd no matter where you go for the smog! Don't be so cheap! I could prob have taken it somewhere in SF but the fact that they were so fast and easy I didn't mind driving the extra 15 min.

This was my first visit here, and I always reserve the 5th star for consistency. When my husband or I come back for another smog, AA+ will likely earn it if they keep up the good work! -

It pays to look up yelp reviews! I recently moved into the area and was a little worried about finding a trustworthy smog check guy. There are just too many out there that it's a little overwhelming to figure out who can do what I need without charging too much.
Thanks to yelp reviews, I landed at AA+smog and I am so relieved. The process only took about 15 minutes, the guy explained what he was doing and even tried several times to make my car pass.
If you're in the area, AA+ is worth it. -

My due date to pay DMV registration in couple of days and no great smog check coupons, I thought will check yelp Burlingame smog centers as I had gone to one 2 years ago and forgot the details. After checking out AA+ on yelp, drove to find its the same place I had gone 2 years ago!!
The owner recognized me and also I was so much relieved coz this place rocks for the service, price ($34.75 and with certificate comes to a total of $45), no wait(at about 12:30PM) time, quick tests and reliable. -

I went here based off the good reviews I seen on yelp. Last time I went to another 5 star place and had great service but price was a little bit of an issue and AA+ had a coupon on their website.
I called in and was told I can stop in right then.
Long story short, after 15 minutes I was done and at a great price.

Horrible service. I actually stopped in front of the shop to make sure this was the shop my buddy told me to go to.
A man that ran the shop walked out and told me to get out of there and he didn't want my truck parked in front of his shop. I explained that i'm getting a smog check and he told me "Not from here."
I've never had such a horrible experience with a auto establishment. It felt like he didn't like the way I looked and didn't need my patronage.
AA+ gets a F in my book. -

Read great reviews about AA+ Smog so I decided to bring my car here for its smog check before paying my DMV reg this year. I called about making an appointment since I was going to get this done over my lunch break. The person (believe it may be the owner) said that I didn't need an appointment and told me that the entire procedure will take about 15 mins (in and out).
So I make my way over to AA+ Smog (easy to get to off of the 101 freeway). Sure enough, I check in (fill out the brief half page paperwork), gave the guy my keys and DMV renewal form. He started working on it and I was out of there in 15 mins as promised! That is as good as it gets folks.
The smog check certificate was also electronically submitted to the DMV - no further action on my end except for paying the DMV reg fees. This is so great! Wonderful and prompt service.
Make sure you get the coupon on the website - so worth it! Total cost for the smog check and certificate was $45. Yay! Thank you AA+ Smog - I give you two thumbs up. :) -

I'd give this place 5 stars if service was friendlier. But, I would still recommend it and go back again. Cheap, FAST, efficient. Got a coupon in Penny Saver, and walked out the door with the smog check in less than 10 minutes, cost was $40 - CASH price.

I have never written a review and I don't do so unless i'm really upset or very pleased, and I was very pleased. I was slightly reluctant to take my car after reading some reviews, but I did anyhow due to the availability. Upon arrival the gentleman was extremely nice and helpful and began immediately. I appreciate individuals who get straight to what is needed and I was in an out in about 15-20 min. I highly recommend this place because I believe he deserves the business.

Even though this is something we only have to do every other year, it's always nice when you can 'pop' into a place like this and get your car smogged:
Quickly, cheaply, decent/clean shop, while-you-wait.
The certificate is now transmitted via. the internet to the DMV so all you have to do is fill out and mail the form and check to Sacramento. -

Pulled up and the guy had me out of there in 10 minutes. The place was clean and well maintained. I went there because the Audi dealer I go to is right down the street, but I liked it more than the smog place I usually go to. I printed off a coupon from the garage's website and it was $45 total. He also accepts credit cards which is nice, since a lot of these cheaper places want cash under the table.
Basically, this place is a legit, pleasant experience. He pulls your car in and 10 minutes later you're on your way. -

Yes, great place.
Easy to find, just a minute from the Broadway exit off of 101.
The guy running the place was really nice, very professional.
I used a coupon off of their website.
He'll offer you a free retest if you need it.
The waiting area is clean and nice and pleasant. Also you can see your car the whole time, if you care about that.
This was just a good experience--I'd go back, I'd recommend it to friends. -

The guy who runs this place is awesome. Just a really, really decent guy. No fear of getting ripped off here - he's helpful, non-pushy, efficient, and prices his services fairly.
In and out with no hassle, and he even walked me through some (unrelated) DMV protocol that I was confused about - yay for customer service that goes the extra mile!
I wish the shop offered more services just so I could use it more often. -

well i moved up to Marin and had to go do some business dosn on the Peninsula. I took my friends car in for smog test for renewal purposes.
As always fast, friendly, affordable, clean shop, 5 stars..even has a cool dog in the shop..I think that's pretty cool stuff..LOL

every so often, the nuisance referred to as the DMV requires us to perform smog tests. i just don't have that much time in my day to deal with these inconveniences.
lucky for me, i found AA+ on yelp. the perfect 5 star reviews do not lie. i went to their website, printed a coupon. drove to the shop and the friendly owner navigated my car onto the wheel rolling machine. i was in and out in 15 minutes. not only did i save time, i saved money too. and time is money! -

I just had a smog check here today.
I called to make an appointment (had to go in my lunchtime) to make sure I don't have to wait and that it will be done quickly.
The inspection with everything took no longer than 15 minutes. The person who helped me was very professional and friendly.
The waiting area is clean and I even received a mini flashlight keychain at the end. :)

Great experience! Called AA and he said, "how is now?" Went over, he parked my car in the garage so I didn't have to, explained the smog check briefly and clearly, gave me a great price, and I only had time to hit the headlines of the WSJ on his sofa (less than 15 minutes).

There are 3 things that are important in a smog check: 1) your car passes, 2) they do it quickly, and 3) it is cheap. Well, my car passed. I made an appointment and after I showed up the owner said it would take 15 minutes. It only took 10. And with the coupon available on their website, the total with taxes and fees was only $45.
Not the biggest or fanciest place, but I was thoroughly satisfied. -

this place was by far the cheapest place i found. Service was great and quick. i found a coupon on it's website and the total was only $45 which includes the certificate that he help u send out. I would definitely go back to this place again when i need another smog check. Other places range about $60+. So this place is definitely recommended =)

I took my Lotus Elise there for a smog check and this place was great! I was a bit worried because I've never owned an "exotic" car before and didn't want to just take it to some gas station.
I checked their site on Yelp and saw pictures of a bunch of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc getting smogged there so I figured they probably knew what they're doing and would scrap the front of my car pulling it into the driveway or any of that stuff.
I was right. This guy (didn't catch his name) is a pro. He treated me and my car really well and I was in and out in like 15 minutes. I'll definitely be going back.
I enjoyed chatting with him about cars too. Nice guy, great service! -

I went to this place on a Saturday morning with a full schedule for the day. The man working there was very friendly and very fast. If you have a nice car and you don't like to leave it alone, this place is good because you can watch the Smog Check from the couch in the waiting area. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Next year, I will use AA+ Smog again!
