They got me moved in less than 3 hours! I have about an 80 year old bed that two of them were able to take apart and put back together.. which is pretty impressive since it usually takes about four people. Loved our experience and plan to use them in the future!

Don't do it! I mean it - go somewhere else. I didn't want to write a review on this place because I didn't want to waste another second on them. I know they are cheap but I would rather throw my stuff away then use them again.
I am going to break it down for you really quick . . .
-They were referred from my work
-After they were an hour late (with no call) I called and found out that they were running 1 hour late which turned in to 2 then 3 hours late (4 hours late for all the math majors out there)
-They broke my antique head board and hid it in my garage
-It took me 2 weeks to get ahold of Flavio (manager/owner?)
-He told me that he would only pay $.50 a pound for a total of $60
-I got the check a week later and guess what . . . it bounced
- 2 WEEKS later I got another check
This all happened in March. The reason why I am writing my review now is that they did it again! My work hired them and they showed up an hour and a half late for the first pickup with no call and didn't even bother showing up for the second pickup. -

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
Went with AA Moving because they had a ton of good reviews...
NOT because they were the cheapest OR most expensive!!
Was told I would recieve a email with confrimation that day... I never did... I called 1 wk prior to confirm, and told them I didnt get a email confrimation... I was then told that they send them out 1 to 2 days prior....Which I still didnt get! I called the DAY BEFORE and they acted surprise I still hadnt got the email... BUT still did NOT receive!
Scheduled to be there at 1pm, they got there at 3:30pm, over 2 1/2 hours late! ONCE they got there they worked very quickly....
The owner was ONLY willing to give me $5.00 off per hour since they were late..
The excuse was the people they moved before me were NOT perpared! I was prepared and sitting there with a 6mth old and 4 year old waiting!
By the time they got to the new place, they RUSHED to unload my belongings like they were HOT!
NOW after 8pm niether one of my kids had dinner and my husband was putting the babies crib together so I could put him to bed, about 30min after his bed time.
Even still not knowing the damage and loss to be found, we thought they had done a good job... We TIPPED Them $30 bucks EACH, and they left!
Over the next few days I was more and more upset!
*Lost a pieces of the furniture! (AND didnt give them to me)
*A property worker found one of my husbands BBQ Tongs in the pool area outside of our townhomes patio!
*Our King size bed frame was NOT put together properly at ALL!!
*Nics in the bedframe, scratches on my daughters vintage bed and my sons bookcases...
And can you PLEASE wash your hands and not touch my white banisters, seriously the kids hands were black with filth..
When I called the OWNER Falvio he told me he could put my bed together NEXT week!!!
He asked what he could do??? WHY should I have to tell YOU!!! YOUR the Fricken OWNER, Man up and offer my tip back at the VERY least!!!! Discount etc!!!
They may have BEEN okay before but NOT NOW!!!
Would use someone else!!!!
Oh, and by the way they ONLY accept CASH!!! -

My regular movers weren't available, so the guy at the box store suggested two companies: one that was run by a "sketchy guy" who employed recently released prisoners (but was really cheap) and AA Moving & Delivery - a company run by a guy named Flavio, who evidently is a Brazilian soccer player. Sooo, hmmm... sketchy guy or some Brazilian soccer player? Easy choice!
Flavio's team of 3 guys showed up on time and with the best attitudes. Felipe (another young Brazilian soccer player, mind you) ran the crew while Scott and Robert (his first day on the job) assisted.
I tell you this.. I have NEVER been so pleased with movers! I paid a flat hourly rate that was inclusive of everything... they took great care to take apart the beds and put them together nicely and even hooked up my washer and dryer. They busted their butts to get me moved in the more time efficient way possible -- there was absolutely no time-wasting or even any breaks taken... they worked so hard and did such a fine job. I will gladly use them the next time I move! -

AA Moving is great.
I can't really say enough good things about them.
I have used plenty of moving companies over the years, and AA is among the top 3.
I wont beat around the bush here, you are taking a risk when you hire a moving company. Many people don't seem to realize that moving companies tend to hire on people from a very unsavory lot. Most have done time, some are on parole, and at least half are drug addicts of one ilk or another. It's real easy for your stuff to disappear. Sometimes they will even be wearing your clothes when they drop your stuff off, no joke it's happened.
When these guys show up, it's like they want to be there. With other companies, you get the impression that the whole process is nothing but a hassle for them, not rue of AA. I am very pleased with the quality of their performance, and overall good attitude.
They will get the job done!!!

I used AA because my girlfriend has had great success with them three times, and I saw their work previously. Kelly and Resean are great workers, and I highly recommend requesting them. (I can't remember the name of the newer guy.) Overall I think the guys did the best possible under the circumstances - it just wasn't an ideal day.
They arrived about 3+ hrs late due to their AM customer taking way longer than expected. It was a rainy day, unfortunately, so everything was more difficult. We (all) underestimated the time that it would take to pack and move my stuff - I obviously had more junk than I realized. By the time the unload was done it was about 10pm. The extra time was unexpected, and required a lot more expense than I had planned. I can't really blame the guys, as they worked non-stop (about a 14-hr day for them). I'd have given them 5 stars if it weren't for all the unexpected problems. Minor damage here and there, but probably less than if I had tried to do it myself.
I still recommend them, especially if you get Kelly and Resean. -

Had them to pick up & deliver a bedroom set I purchased.
They were prompt, actually even early. The movers were friendly, energetic, personable and professional.
I paid for 2 hours and it took about less than a 1/2 hour to deliver the items. I inspected all itemsl, not a scratch or dent.
They offered to put the bed frame together. I paid them, tipped them handsomely, and they left. I was all giddy, went into the bedroom and noticed two bits of damage to the headboard. I ran downstairs to stop them...they have insurance for these things.
Which means they discounted me a whopping $20 saying the bedframe ( a California King wood headboard/footboard/frame) was only 30lbs.

Note that this company has a VERY bad BBB rating and now I know why. I'd never use these guys again and strongly recommend finding a more responsible mover.
I was very excited to have my first ever brand spanking new bedroom set. Now I'm sad that I hired this company and my exciting experience is tainted.
Post Original Review Addendum: Flavio (the owner) saw this review and called me trying to find out why I gave them one star.
He explained:
- one star hurts his biz (apparently, not as much as the "F" rating with the BBB)
- he has a wife & kids to feed
- he didn't know what I was expecting
- I should have called if I had a problem
- he has a wife & kids to feed (umm...yah. he said that multiple times. Guilt trips aren't becoming of a responsible biz IMO)
(Keep in mind it's very tough to jot these notes down since Flavio repeatedly interrupted me during explanations)
Note that the sequence of events:
- I pointed out to his workers the damage
- They apologized, I told them these things happen, but I wasn't sure what we should do about it
- They said they had insurance for these circumstances
- The insurance calculated out to $18 refund
As far as I know, this was the only thing they could do. I wasn't mad at the guys, I read all the legalease on the back of the contract and there really didn't seem to be any recourse for me...so I figured that was that. $20 for the damage. I didn't actually think at the time of calling Flavio since the workers had gone downstairs and called him. He was aware of the problem.
Also note that the service cost $170. Since I'd gotten money out of the ATM and had no 10's, I gave them $180 for the service, and tipped each of the guys $40. I wasn't being bitchy or ungrateful...I'm just not happy that my brand new furniture was damaged and the most they would try to 'make anything better' was $20 and a guilt trip phone call.
He ended the call with 'have a good life I guess'.
I think that about sums up the maturity level of phone conversation. -

OMG! Alright, I've never done a back to back, but in this instance, I wanted to complete the experience for everyone to know just how freakin' awesome these guys are.
They came in packed yesterday in what was supposed to be 3 hours, got it done in 2. They were supposed to take at the most 6 hours (2 bed, 2 bath - 2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 newborn - MOUNTAINS of toys, clothes, furniture crammed into a rinky dinky space to move us. It took them just around 4 hours (actually 3.5, but with California requirements, a mover will bill double drive time). AND, that includes disassembling our MASSIVE bed frame and then carrying it a steep set of stairs at our new house to reassemble it!
We asked for the move to initiate at 8:30a, they showed up at 8:00a did a little bit of this and that, then officially started the clock at 8:30a! HOW CRAZY IS THAT?
Look, I'm going bonkers, because I HAVE NEVER MOVED IN A MANNER THAT WAS THIS EASY, THIS PEACEFUL AND THIS WONDERFUL! I'm really, really adamant about getting the word out about how awesome this team of professionals are!!!
Oops! Last thing. Their costs are transparent. No funky, additional insurance charges, no "mileage" premium, no gas and truck rental premium. They actually brought additional boxes just in case and here's the clincher, we needed them and they barely charged us more than you will find at ANY store!
Don't be a tool and shop around. You'll get the best right out the gate from the these guys!

I have used this company for my last THREE moves in the San Diego area, and have been extremely satisfied with each experience. All of their workers (6 guys in 3 moves) were courteous, hardworking, and careful.
Nice guys who don't waste time and don't break your stuff- what more do you need? -

I was sent an apology card, and I have been informed that the people who moved me no longer work at the company. So, I'd give them another shot, because I like Starbucks and they sent me a Starbucks gift card. These guys moved my mom into her new condo in July. My mom has moved a LOT in her life, more than 30 times, all over the country. She knows moving. I was a little nervous about this company because they are small, but they did an incredible job. I think the fact that they are small and family operated may be what MAKES them so good. They have a lot to lose if they disappoint even one customer, so even little jobs get treated with personal care.
The men worked like dogs for my mom. Showed up a few minutes early, had a wonderful attitude. Moved her in a little less time than estimated, in fact. She ended tipping them pretty generously, and gushed about them.

I found these guys on yelp and couldn't be happier. I called several other moving companies that I also found on yelp and all had 3 or 4 hour minimums. AA moving made an exception for me because I had a studio sized move which was supposed to take less than 2 hours. Scheduling was easy and I got an email confirmation a few days before the move was to take place.
James and Trevor were my movers. They were super FAST, friendly, and involved me in directing the process where possible. They were so fast that at times I worried that some of my things could get damaged but in the end, everything turned out great, no dents or breakages. All under two hours. I would absolutely use them again. -

I used them last year when I moved and haven't gotten around to writing a review until now. I have very expensive furniture in which i watched the mover DROP the cherry wood bed frame onto the dresser which left a huge dent and gash and chunks missing in both pieces of furniture. The guy tried to tell me it was like that thinking I didn't see him just do it. I couldn't believe it! There was no point in me even calling and trying to get any money out of this company because the contract states 8cents per pound of item it's not even worth it. When all my furniture was moved in, it definetely wasn't in the shape as it was when It was in storage.

I hired AA Moving and Delivery when I moved apartments last weekend and was very happy with the experience. The movers were polite, careful, and got the job done within the estimated time. The cost was well worth it compared to the annoyance and back pain of dealing with U-Haul etc.

The first time we used AA, everything was great. Couldn't be happier. Because of that, we used them again. Bad news. The guys were very strong and full of energy- normally a plus, but not this time. They looked like there was a party they needed to get to or something. The move was totally rushed, and they ended up breaking our futon and scratching up our walls in the new apartment (which we then got stuck paying for!) I called the office, and all they said was basically oh well...They cut us a check for $60, when the futon (worth $250) was now broken and unusable. What a waste of about $450-500! We also barely met the 3 hr minimum, and they didn't even offer any discounts for what they did or anything. Maybe we got bad guys, not sure....but lay off the tweak, and watch what you are doing, guys, really.

AA Moving deserves the high ratings they receive. I called a few moving companies to get quotes and was concerned because they wanted to load up the truck, and unload everything into storage until my new place was ready. This seemed ridiculous since we were only talking about a few days of storage, not to mention very expensive. I called AA Moving, and Flavio, the owner, told me he would just rent an extra truck and leave everything on the truck until I was ready to move into my new home. This worked perfectly, saved me money, and even though it was raining the day they moved me into my new place, I could not have been happier with their service. The movers were careful, fast, and did a great job. Thank you Flavio, Josh, Kelly, and John.

I hired AA moving services and this company and by far they are the best in the business. They were prompt, hardworking and moved everything without any damage. The owners provided the services they said that they would, and that is exactly what most customers are looking for. Would use them again and would recommend them to any and everyone that I know going thru a move.

I was so stressed out about my move at the end of October. Thank you so much for sending Flavio and Kelly....they were exceptional! They arrived promptly at 7:45, started working at 8, and finished unloading everything by 12. That's 4 hours of non-stop labor!! This move was smooth and stress free....I am forever grateful. I will definitely recommend AA to all my friends and family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
