The AA dining program is a service provided by Rewards Networks under the banner of AA Advantage Dining Program. If you participate in this program, be aware that "occasionally we may not catch a particular restaurant visit due to technical difficulties" (from their email to me regarding such an incident that happened to me). In my case, I discovered the error and clicked on the link in their website for missing dining credits. However, instead of them contacting the restaurant to validate my visit, they require me, the diner/card owner restaurant and AA Advantage customer, to fax a copy of the receipt or credit card statement to prove I am not making it all up. So don't toss those receipts for your qualifying dines. You may occasionally need them to keep from getting cheated. This borders somewhat on many rebate programs where the provider hopes the customer will give up and not pursue the promised reward.
