This is truly a fantastic place to get a massage in Pismo Beach! First off, it is no more than four block from a beautiful secluded beach which was perfect to walk down and enjoy after my amazing massage. A huge plus in my book! My massage therapist was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. It was great to start feeling relaxed even before the massage started. The room I was in opened up to a small courtyard which had a small fish pond which is also very enjoyable.
The woman that helped me at A Vital Touch was so accommodating and helped me find a time that worked great in my busy (though on vacation) schedule.
This is such a fantastic place, I can't wait to go back!

    Best. Massage. EVER.

Seriously, folks.  My friend and I are avid spa-goers, and try to squeeze in massages or facials any time that we're together.  We've been to some great places (Burke Williams, Glen Ivy), but nothing compares to the experience that we had at A Vital Touch.  Both of us came out of our respective massage rooms looking like we had just woken up from the most blissful naps of our lives, and I don't think I've felt that relaxed in a very long time.

As other reviewers mentioned, there aren't the typical "spa" amenities like robes and a hot tub, but once you lie down, you'll wish you never had to get back up!

This place is homey and clean, and the staff are super friendly and their hands are like magic.  Plus, the price is amazing.

In fact, this place is so great I almost didn't want to leave a review because I don't want to have trouble getting an appointment next time I'm in town!  But, honestly, they deserve every ounce of praise I can give!

This place is so cute and awesome! It's more like a holistic healing center (think hippie, incense, and essential oils) as opposed to a luxury spa you find in hotels. It's clean and has the basics. There's no sauna or shower, but that's not why I came here. I wanted a massage for a decent price ($65 for 60-min is a GREAT deal) in a clean establishment.

The ladies who provided massages to my best friend and I were very nice, accommodating, and thorough. We even got a super early (10:30 AM) appt on a weekend! I had the regular 60-min massage, and my friend got the face lift / scalp massage. We were both happy campers afterwards. My treatment room was a bit cold so I had a hard time relaxing in the beginning, but once I warmed up, Kathy (I think her name was; she's originally from AZ) did a great job trying to relax my very very very very tense body. She was also attentive w/o being too chatty (which I love). Before I undressed, she asked about my problem areas. Then after we started, she checked in with me about pressure, etc. The hot towels to the neck and feet were a VERY nice touch. I wish she would repeat that for 5-10 times. At times I felt she rushed through this part, but if I had spoken up, I'm sure she would have slowed down.

If I lived here, I would come back 1x week for treatment. Aaaah massages.

    A vital touch is awesome...

http://www.avitaltouch...  (Check out their website for service and pricing) p.s YOU WILL "NOT" BE DISAPPOINTED!!

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. All three of my friends loved their masseuse, but I got Eva who made me feel so comfortable. Her technique, skill and style were excellent.

The ambiance was truly relaxing. The decor was refreshing, the music of waves crashing will help clear your mind.

You will come out feeling relax, refresh, and revived!

I would totally recommend this place to anyone who needs some love on a budget.

My boyfriend and I came here while on our coast vacay and wanted to relax. There are not a lot of options for massage therapy on this area but luckily we found a great place with great service. I was lucky to get Cathy and the bf got Jessica. We were both more than satisfied. I'm a former massage therapist myself so I know great quality when I feel it!
Cathy worked out my adhesion's that I had in my calves without me saying anything about them. She also told me which side was worse and why she used different techniques on that side to heal me.
This place has no frills, but great prices, genuine, and friendly service. I highly recommend!

One of the best massages my boyfriend and I have ever had!  We booked a couple's massage while on a little getaway to Pismo.  A Vital Touch is clean and cute, the massage therapists were friendly, and the room was warm and relaxing.  Not your typical "spa experience," meaning there are no robes or saunas.  This, however, does not matter in the least!  The technique of the masseuses was beyond compare, and the relaxing and quiet setting was perfect.   We are definitely going back and recommend A Vital Touch for anyone looking for a terrific massage at a good price.

Came down to the Pismo area for a weekend getaway and scheduled a prenatal massage here based on Yelp reviews. Was greeted by friendly service and enjoyed a WONDERFULLY relaxing massage. Not a super fancy spa but a great little gem with reasonably priced services.

They were amazing! I'm here on vacation and I have gotten Massages b4 but this one was wonderful! I did the couples massage their Valentine day special and they end the massage with a glass of Rose.

I'm local and love to get massages.  Vital Touch is the best place around by far.  The massages are heavenly and the rooms are quiet and  lovely.  The prices are more affordable than the large hotels, too.  All in all, it's a wonderful experience.

Our couples massage at A Vital Touch in Shell Beach was both romantic and therapeutic!  My husband prefers a vigorous massage and I prefer a lighter "energy" massage and the therapists were able to accommodate us both - actually accommodate is probably not the best word, because we both received the best massage we had ever had.  The massage room is so warm and inviting.  And Eva and her team are so genuine and caring.  I mirror the comment of Stephanie L.  The entire experience was warm, friendly and personal.  I'm not a huge fan of spa massages - they seem so sterile and are really just trying to push their spa products.  I really felt the team at A Vital Touch was caring and very healing.

My friends and I had the most relaxing massage at A Vital Touch.  First of all... it took a while to find a spa that was able to accomodate all my friends at the same hour in Pismo.  Not to mention most spas are closed on Sundays.  I must also state that this place is not your typical massage factory or spa chains like you'd find in most cities.  You don't get check'd in by a fake smiling hostess and an uniform wearing robot masseuse won't pop out to lead you right to your room.  The price was very resonable and we all loved our friendly masseuses.  As soon as we walked in each of us were greeted with a hot cup of fine tea.  The staff took down our info on a form, did a bit of mingling to help us relax, and they even asked us for our favorite oil scents.  Then we were all in la la land.  You know... sunshine, lolipops, and rainbows, everything that's wonderful.  We've all been back more than once to experience the bliss.
