Excellent Pho. Great prices. Lovely staff. I make an extra effort to drive by.

I've been here twice and have had the beef loc lac, chicken pho, and the spring rolls. All have been excellent. The service has been friendly and quick, and despite being a larger group, we managed to get in and out of there relatively quickly.
My only gripe: Both times I've had the pho; the first time the jalapenos were plentiful and spicy, but the second time, not so much. The chicken pho is manna from the heavens though, so if you're weirded out by beef or pork soup, it's a great alternative. -

I have tried two times...and both times I was rather disappointed...I haven't tried Pho yet so I should go try Pho.
Beef was not good and didn't look freshly cooked at all and it was salty.
People talk about Pho here...so I should give it a try. So far, two strikes. -

The Lemongrass Wings, Pho Tai, and grilled pork with vermicelli were all delicious. I love me some Pho and this was better than most. Clean, friendly place too, I just wish they'd offered chopsticks. :)

Excellent Vietnamese food, and great and quick service. Some healthy choices, like grilled chicken, on the menu as well. And they even have brown rice! Prices are fairly low. We will definitely be back, its worth a detour.

We only stopped by because we were around the area and heard of this place on yelp..decided to give it a try and its decent Vietnamese food around the area. I wouldn't say its the best I've ever tasted but locally, this place is a must visit.

We've been to A Taste of Vietnam a couple of times now and it's consistently good. I actually came to this restaurant based on the reviews on Yelp and boy has it not disappointed. We always get the Pho because you just have to when you have Vietnamese food. It's excellent! We share a small bowl and it's plenty. I can't imagine what a large bowl is like. I guess if that's your entire meal (which it certainly could be), then go that route. I have to try another entree for that variety of new food. We've tried the lamb dish surrounded by rice and is fragrant and superb and also the steak cubes which was equally yummy. The service is excellent, the waitresses are super nice and food is always good. This is a new go to place for us.

As a Vietnamese person I am really pleased with the food. Pretty damn close to grandma's cooking. Friendly family run service.

Totally worth 5 stars! Everything here is good, and inexpensive. My favorite Asian place in the area for sure. I usually get the rice paper rolls, wicked good. And all their chicken and tofu dishes are delicious!

This is a reminder of why I really hate North Central MA. When I eat here it reminds me of how I have to go elsewhere to get Thai, Japanese, dim sum, Persian, Spanish. You get the picture?
Yes it is cheaper to live out here and it really isn't that bad of a commute to Worcester or Boston. The problem is there is only a handful of good cuisine spots. I am delighted that this is one of them. The menu is small yet sufficiently tasteful. The Pho is a traditional selection of Dac Biet, Tai, Bo Vien and my favorite Ga. They are all simply amazing in taste and cost. A quart to go is $7.50.
I am happy I have this place. If you are ever here try it. -

I went there around two weeks ago. Wanted something fresh and light. The vermicelli bowl did the trick. I asked for chicken and they brought it out on skewers with the bowl. It all worked so well together. We also had spring rolls with peanut sauce. They were ok, but not bad. I have had better before.
It was packed on a Friday night and all around I saw beautiful dishes. I would recommend going to this location for the food and service. Really surprised to find this in the area.
PS - had the ginger ice cream too. Got one and it was way too much for two people. Extremely delicious as the butter cream content was quite high. -

We have visited Taste of Vietnam on a few different occassions. The Pho is wonderful on a cold night. The broth is well seasoned and rich. The sides of bean sprouts and basil are very crisp and fresh.
The fresh rolls are very good and the chicken fried rice is perfect if you need a little something more than soup. Their attempt at curry leaves a little to be desired, but all in all a decent place and good value.
This establishment has a BYOB policy, but there is usually a line for dinner and its atmosphere does not encourage leisurely dining. It's a chew and screw kind of place. -

For being the only Viet place in the area, it is surprisingly good.
Love the Pho (usually go there for it), and the rice dishes are excellent. No added frills of "chinese" dishes. Just the meat, veggies and little seasonings... healthy!
The vermacelli dishes are satisfying enough, only cause to get a good vermacelli dish, you have to drive out to Boston to Pho Hoa or the Chinatown Pho Pasture.
I believe they do serve beer and wine now (as of last summer, fyi), but it is a chew and screw place, so why not just go out after?
btw, LOVE the fresh rolls and the wings, can't find wings that good anywhere else! -

Best Vietnamese in town! The owner is always around and the staff is nice. I have eaten here dozens of times and the food is very consistent and a good value.

I had the pho ga (chicken) and I thought it was good. Definitely didn't expect good viet food out in those parts. For a decent $7, the large bowl of pho had plenty of chicken with the usual sprouts, cilantro and peppers. The noodles were a little chewy but still tasty. The broth was very good and despite finding a hair in my pho, the meal was very pleasant. The seating capacity is a bit small but the service was friendly and prompt. Be warned that the parking lot is a bit small.

Taste of Vietnam (simply "Taste" or T.O.V. to my group of friends) is easily one of the best restaurants in this area, although you wouldn't know it by looking at it. It's appearance is unassuming, both inside and outside, but the food speaks for itself. For a while it seemed to be a "hidden gem", but my 25 minute wait last Friday tells me that it's not so hidden anymore. This place is gaining popularity, rightfully so.
I always get the vegetarian fresh rolls which come with the most divine, creamy peanut sauce. I've had fresh rolls at other Vietnamese and Thai places, but these ones trump all the rest, mostly because the peanut sauce is by far the best. I'm not gonna lie -- I tend to use my finger or a spoon to scrape the both after my fresh rolls are gone.
As for my entree, I tend to get some version of the tofu stir-fry, whether it's with the Spicy Basil (AWESOME!) or the Curry. Both have a great depth of flavor -- especially when you ask for "extra spicy." -- Keep in mind that Taste of Vietnam has lunch specials, so show up early on weekdays for a few dollars off! -

There is no other place in Leominster that serves food this good. If you're at all familiar with Leominster, you might think that doesn't say much. But really, this place is amazing. I guess I should preface the rest of this review by saying I'm a strict vegetarian, so I can't vouch too much for any of the meat dishes. But every tofu dish here is full of flavor and healthy to boot. And the owners and staff are super friendly. I've been going here for years and though I've moved across the country and only come when I'm visiting family, they still remember me by name! Try the vegetarian rolls, whether you're a veg or not. The peanut sauce is what dreams are made of.

I came here because a former co-worker got me a gift certificate here. After driving for over an hour, I was hoping this would be worth it, and it totally was. This is the sort of place I wish they had around where we live. The food was very flavorful, fresh, yet inexpensive and prepared quickly (what every great Vietnamese place should be). I, of course, got my usual and favorite dish - the chicken pho, which was excellent. I probably wouldn't drive all the way out there just to go to the restaurant, but next time I'm in the neighborhood another visit is definitely in order.

We found this little gem by mistake but I am glad we found Taste of Vietnam. Moving from Northern California I was afraid that we would not be able to find good Asian food. But I am happy to report Taste of Vietnam is wonderful. I love the Pho and the fresh rolls with the peanut sauce are to die for. Just writing about how good the food is makes me want to hop in my car and get a large bowl of Pho with a side of fresh rolls. If they had Pearl tea I would die and go to heaven.

Best Viet food in the area. Great for vegetarians and a light lunch of dinner. If you have a cold or aren't feeling good their soup is like an antibiotic it will make u feel 100 times better.
FYI-The servers get paid hourly so do not leave a tip, it goes straight to the owners wallet. (I know a few girls who work their) -

A great little place to stop. Looked up places to eat in the area when on the way to vt with the parents. Easily on par with the place just outside the Chinatown stop in Boston. Lots of Vietnamese locals eating here as well. Certainly a nice place to pull over for lunch. Pho was good, as was the pork with vermicelli.

We have been going here for years and it is by far the best Asian food in the area and the only Vietnamese place I know of around here. The pho is excellent, the spicy lemon grass chicken wings are so good (they're an appetizer) I get them as my meal with a side of rice. My absolute favorite. I don't like shrimp but I love their shrimp rolls...so good and the sauce that comes with it and the fresh cucumber and carrots shreds make it awesome. Their fried rice is the best I've had anywhere. I haven't had a dish there that I didn't like. The owner is so nice and she always remembers us...even when we order over the phone. She asks about my kids and tells me how much they've grown. The service alone makes it worth the visit. If you want to eat there on a Friday night, go early. Since I live in the area I tend to order out because it is a small place but definitely worth the wait. You'll fall in love. :)
