We had a great experience with A Sounds Unlimited!
A Sounds Unlimited genuinely care about their clients and this attitude shines through in all their work! They are very organized in the months leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day which eases a large amount of stress!
On our wedding day, they arrived early with great attitudes and their enthusiasm during our wedding was contagious; they totally amped up our guests and dance floor!
I highly recommend this vendor for any of your DJ needs! Their prices are in the mid-range, but if you attend the Seattle Wedding Show they offer awesome discounts! -

Edit: reviews of the "negative" nature get buried by yelps paid removal service, steer clear of a sounds unlimited. They are so worried that people will find out how truly terrible they are that they have to pay to have their reviews fixed. This service has been offered to someone I know who owns their own business, So I know this service exists and it is the only explanation for 90+% of this companies reviews being "filtered"...
So there's no such thing as a 0 star review? 1 star is more than A Sounds Unlimited deserves. I would run the other way at any offer to use this company, never look back.
Our wedding was 10/10/10; this company requests that you send in your playlist, requests, etc, over 2 weeks before the wedding to ensure that you get the songs you want, or are at least notified that the music will be unavailable. Day of the wedding, we had never been told we wouldn't be getting any of our songs. With 10 minutes until my fiancee and I walk down the aisle, the DJ looks flustered and calls me over. He proceeded to tell me that the song that we were supposed to walk out with was on a CD that was misplaced, or was forgotten. Not a problem I said, go ahead and play song B then I told him. This wasn't a huge deal, I could live with that. Processional starts, music is what we wanted, no problem. Now my wife is standing there, waiting for November Rain to kick in so she can walk down the aisle(she told me from the day we met until the day of the wedding she had always watched the November Rain music video and either wanted the girls dress, or the song to play. We met in early 2004, so 7 years I heard about the song she would hear the day we married...). Silence. 1 minute passes by, the DJ is frantically trying to get the CD to play. Nothing. 2 minutes pass. I whispered to the DJ, just play ANYTHING. Third minute passes, still silence. Finally the minister asked if he could tell a joke and sing her down the aisle himself, I agreed that was better than nothing. Never did the DJ get anything playing. Now my wife I could tell was PISSED, and who wouldn't be? This was the one and only time we are getting married, and the DJ blew it. But was that the end of it? No. Remember how he had forgetten the recessional CD, and was supposed to play song B instead? Well song B, a maroon 5 song, was not played. Was it close? No, not even in the slightest way. Instead, we get a Mary j Blige song...Be without you. The joke that was Sounds Unlimited didn't stop there. The DJ, who had a time table of our events (he was supposed to be moving the night along and keeping everything going) never once tried to keep us on track, instead the caterer and my grandfather helped tell the DJ when we needed to announce what and when everything was supposed to happen.
So all in all, you'd think that Sounds Unlimited would be refund our money, or at the very least apologize for what happened...but no, neither one. I had to call Sounds Unlimited the next day, explain to the confused and uncaring receptionist what had happened, before talking to a manager who cared less. They eventually offered us $100 off, which we refused (we wanted all of our money back, after all, they didn't get anything right, and that's why we paid them), before offering $250, and then finally $380, which was half of what we paid. We finally took what they had offered us, because by this time we had fought with them for well over 2 months and were frankly just tired of the fight.
All in all, would I recommend them? Never...never ever would I wish this company upon anyone.
I am not the type of person to ever right negatively about anyone or anything, unless it was absolutely horrendous...and this was absolutely horrendous.
Please do not make our mistake, there are plenty of other companies out there. -

We used A Sounds Unlimited for our October 2010 wedding and they were great! Easy to book, I got a contract right away, and they had a website where I could pick out music and coordinate how my wedding day flowed. The DJ called a day or two before my wedding so we could chat. I told him which weird songs I wanted to play when I walked down and back up the alter and he was able to accommodate my strange tastes (War Pigs!!!). Our DJ left without saying goodbye, so I never got to tip him. He was so awesome though I called the company and mailed it to him after I got back from our honeymoon.
A Sounds Unlimited is easy to work with and provides a great service. I am so glad we went with them for our wedding!
