Pros: Bea and Sterling are great. They really make you feel like you're living there.

Breakfast was awesome, although they really do give you more than you can eat, so don't feel bad about leaving some behind.

We got a great deal at only $110/night, which isn't too bad for a B&B, but this is the off season.

Room was nice and cozy, we got the one with the attached single and bathroom.

    Cons:

Shower is very strange; just sort of gushes water out at you.

TVs are very small (not really a con for us, but might be a big deal for others)

Bea told us to bring swimming trunks for the hot tub, but it was closed for the year -- it's a hot tub, they're perfectly suited for winter months.

Sometimes it's really 'too' much like home. Was woken up the last morning by her grandson -- I definitely didn't pay for that!

Overall, a nice experience. Don't be taken aback by the fact that it's right on 'Main Street'. Spencer is a blip of a town, and almost certainly farther away from civilization than you are right now.

Note: You will not get cellular service in Spencer; if you need to make a phone call, you'll either have to ask to use the house phone or drive to Ithaca (about 25 minutes).
