I called the evening before (at 6:47pm), and they answered and were willing to help me move my 1 Bedroom apartment the following day; they offered a 9am, I prefered a 12pm-1pm.
They arrived at 12:30pm, the move was finished right on at 2:30pm.
Very professional, took great care of my belongings.
Will absolutely recommend, and use again.

Hate to give a 5-star review, but no quibble at all in this case. These guys were terrific. Worked fast with not on ding or break.. Everyone was polite and personable. And the total cost was reasonable and lower than I expected.
Sorry to say I'm hell with names, but the team leader popped up every time there was a question they anticipated or a tricky turn to navigate.
I'm singing that blues tune, "I Never Want to Move Again", but I'll say I would not hesitate to call again or recommend them highly. -

Moved 4/14/12 and it could not have been simpler. Guys packed my stuff so fast and took care and wrapped all that needed it. They had a good attitude and were very friendly. They were even 5 minutes early. I would reccomend them to anyone. They are a great company and have amaing workers. AMAZED. I have moved several times and not oe has been this simple. A+++++

This is the second time I've used ASM. Now that it's been about 2 weeks since my move, I have come to the conclusion that they broke every single piece of furniture I own. I will state it is mostly IKEA furniture but the crew from ASM that I used previously did not even scratch a piece of furniture and I have acquired no new furniture since the first move with ASM. Additionally, they "strong armed" me into hiring a third mover even though I scheduled only two. While I cannot speak to whether or not it would have been better or different or worse with a two man crew, all I know is if I could still stop payment on my check at this point, I would.

I just moved yesterday and used A Simple move. I had two guys, no truck (I had my own) for $75/hr plus 1/2 drive time for 2.75 hrs for a 1 bedroom with alot of stuff! total around $243 plus tip.
They give you an hour window for arrival. The guys arrived closer to the earlier part of the hour.
The guys... Tyson (i believe) and another guy both worked very hard. Both guys were super friendly. It's really hard to make my dad happy. However, my dad was really impressed with how well they utilized the space on the truck. -

WOW.
I was very very very very stressed about my move and since I moved a lot for my job, too tired to try to do it myself.
I picked this place to help me move 100% based of Yelp reviews. And I am glad I did.
9:00 AM pick up- 3 guys . They showed up on time and got right to work. GREAT Attitudes, and no nonsense movement. I got more bang for my buck, with no idle time, they got in and started moving things.. FAST.
They actually joked that the drive to my new place took longer than they did to pack up . Quite True.
I was moving into a 3 story place, so unpacking wasn't as easy, but still done quickly and efficiently.
Less than 3 hours later they were gone! I was ready to unpack and relax by the afternoon...
I can't emphasize enough, how great their service was...
I will use them again !!!! -

First of all, I want to say that the two guys who were on my job full time were great. I watched one of them pick up three small boxes packed full of hardcover books and carry it out like it was nothing. Those men worked their butts off.
There were some problems with supervision. They showed up about a half hour after the latest time in their start window, and I had stressed the need for an early start time since there is only one elevator in my apartment - the earlier we could start, the less competition for the elevator. Since I was paying the downtown fee, the early start time was important to me, which I'd repeatedly noted. Money down the drain.
Anyway, when they did show up the team leader said they'd brought three guys rather than the two I'd requested - did I want to up to a three man/hour job?
Sure, I said, if it'll get done faster.
Oops.
Well, two of them still did all the work. I found out later that the third, the team leader had been working until 3am the morning before. I never saw him do a thing - he stayed in the truck the entire time. To ASM's credit, they did eventually bring in someone else to take his place. It probably wasn't anyone's fault really, just an unfortunate situation - but, I'm the one who ended up paying for it.
Finally, the move in took about one hour, while the move out took about THREE. Nothing was dropped off on the way (5 minute drive), and waiting for the elevator doesn't take that long.
On the way to my new place, they also were flagged over by someone on the street who was jumping up and down pointing at the back of the truck. They were following me, so I couldn't see what had happened... when I asked, they said "Oh, I think a dolly fell off or something." I still don't know what I might have lost, and no one would give me a direct answer about what happened. They read these, so maybe they'll let me know what was apparent enough that a skater waved them down.
Anyway, my bill was $450 to move a 2 bedroom apartment about 12 blocks - lots of boxes. -

Sir Nicholas and I have moved a lot over the past 2 years - Denver to LA, LA to SF, and now SF back home to Denver (hooray!!) - and so we have experienced a lot of movers during that time. As we drove halfway across the country we started talking about how all of our movers had actually been pretty awesome, which truthfully wasn't something we expected when we had hired our very first set of movers. We had heard the horror stories about broken stuff, stolen stuff, tardiness, etc., etc. and so that made us concerned. But after a half a dozen moves I can happily say I never experienced any of that bad stuff and the fellows from A Simple Move were no exception to this rule.
Prompt and friendly, our two movers showed up with a pair of gloves and very strong muscles and proceeded to move all of our belongings to our 3rd floor apartment. It took about 3 hours from start to finish and the price was very reasonable in my mind.
Setting up an appointment to have the movers come is super easy - just a quick phone call will do it. And the guys called me the day before our actual move in to confirm all the details. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't need movers for a good, long while, but if I do I'd definitely call A Simple Move again in a heartbeat. -

Movers were friendly, though they broke a table top and were not as careful as I would have liked with some of the furniture. If I were to do it again I would have stuck with two movers, as three for a two bedroom plus the one time fee added up (and no discount was offered for the broken furniture). Overall i'd say look for someone esle, ill never use them again.

Easily the best moving company I've worked with. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and the prices are reasonable.
Their team moved my furniture from a first floor one-bedroom to a larger third floor apartment. My entire apartment was loaded and in the truck within 30 minutes of their arrival. These guys don't waste time!
My new place has difficult stairs and the movers did everything they good to get my furniture up there quickly and safely. This meant disassembling my couch then reassembling it, all in record time.
Definitely the least stressful move I've ever had. The whole thing was done in two and a half hours. Highly recommended. -

All in all, A Simple Move did what I paid them to do. They arrived in a timely fashion, had a great attitude and generally took care not to break things. Unfortunately, the two movers' desire to get the move done quickly resulted in a few casualties.
I packed 95% of my belongings myself. I should have packed 100% and everything would have been fine. It was almost as if the move was a weightlifting competition. Although it helped speed the process along, a filing cabinet was broken because they neglected to remove the files and instead moved all 60 pounds ith drawers and files in place. Same thing with my dresser. The entire bottom portion of a drawer was pushed up through the drawer because of a one-man lift. That one I fixed myself. Another casualty was a lamp shade. Not sure how that one got destroyed but it did.
In the initial paperwork process I was offered full coverage insurance for 150.00, roughly the same price as two hours of two men working. I declined and went with the included coverage of .60 per pound. At .60 per pound, it really doesn't make much sense to even go through the process of filing a claim. If I could do it again, I would probably go the same route but would definately have packed 100% of my load.
All in all, I had a good experience with these guys. The damage could have been avoided had I taken the time to pack everything properly. If I was paying this company to pack all of my belongings, I would buy the full coverage insurance. If, like me, you are looking for value, efficiency and friendly service, just make sure to take the time to properly pack your things properly. -

We finally moved out of our third floor walkup into a real house, and hired A Simple Move for the job.
It was a big job, as we have a lot of stuff and the old building was immensely awkward to get in and out of.
Our three movers were unbelievably experienced, skilled, professional, careful, thoughtful, efficient, and friendly. If I recall correctly they had over 20 years experience among them, which is a TON for movers. Everything was moved without a scratch. Items that we had nearly destroyed moving ourselves into the building years ago were moved out without even grazing a wall.
I really didn't think a move could go that well. The owner, Dwayne, runs an impressively tight ship and even dropped by our move just to make sure things were going well (and helped out a little himself). The job was bigger than anyone had anticipated, but the company didn't blink and completed the job as carefully as they had started it.
The price, by the hour, was clearly defined from the beginning and the bill was accurate to the minute, and the cost was more than fair. A real value.
I dread moving more than anything else in my life (cush life I guess), but I have to say that working with A Simple Move made it, dare I say, kind of fun. I can't recommend them highly enough. -

Chose this company for our move based solely based on Yelp reviews. Boy, were we pleased. I don't plan on moving for at least 10 yrs but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this company. I will also recommend them to any one who has the need. Qwon, Mike and Damon worked tirelessly for 8 hrs, 2 trips and during a snowstorm to move us. Thanks a million times over "A Simple Move".

I feel like I need to balance my negative reviews of moving companies with a positive one, so here it is. Use these guys if you're moving within the Denver area. They're quick, professional, and they don't charge ridiculous rates. I used them twice and I couldn't ask for more from a moving company.

I've moved a lot over the last thirty-two years. The 3 man crew with 'A Simple Move' were true professionals; the best I've ever used. If possible you should request their team specifically: Qwan, Stan, and J.J. They arrived on time and got straight to work. They worked faster than any other moving company I've experienced in the past. They took no breaks, they didn't stop for lunch -- they just worked their butts off and moved, loaded, hauled, and unloaded for over 8 hours straight. I moved a 2,200 square foot 3 bedroom house into storage using a standard 1 car garage. How did they accomplish this? Stan is an artist when it comes to packing the truck (which was full to the rafters front to back) and then unpacking and fitting everything into that garage like a Jenga puzzle. I've never seen anything like it. I thought I was going to have to donate half my stuff to ARC if it didn't get into that garage. I was not going to pay for a storage area.
Don't do any more research. I looked at them all. Just hire these guys. Their rates are competitive, they are professional and friendly, and they just work. They take their jobs very seriously; they made what could have been a very stressful day go off like clockwork. -

I have utilized their services THREE times so far....once to move from Aurora to off of Colfax near City Park, and twice out in Centennial. The rates are reasonable, and they show up on time and do what they say they're gonna do! Last time did take a little longer for them to get done, but perhaps I should've asked for 3 guys, instead of 2.....anyhow, these guys have been pretty good, and all I ask is for people to keep their word and do what you say you're gonna do! And Dwayne has been good about getting back to me! -

... 3rd time in the last 6 months that we've used A Simple Move. These guys are PROVEN WINNERS. They were quick, polite, in good spirits, and most importantly, they really got the job done 'wright' (all puns intended)! I can't say enough about A Simple Move, I will be going out of my way to recommend these guys.
They emptied my rental house, then my storage unit that contained our very heavy/gawky hot tub. Getting the hot tub onto the moving van in Seattle was horrible to watch ... A Simple Move made it look fairly easy and straight forward. They got it out of the storage unit, and onto the truck easy pleasy chicken greasy ... then OFF the truck and onto my deck in no time at all. I can't tell you how much my wife and I have been looking forward to putting down roots in Denver now that we bought our house, plugging in the hot tub and sitting in it that night was SWEET!! 18 months worth of planning, finally came together ... Qwan and Nate were fantastic! In half a day, they moved what would have taken my husband and me several days. They worked incredibly hard, and were very friendly and careful of our breakable items. The price was reasonable and worth every penny.

The whole crew was great. The price is right and the service was friendly.
They really do take care of your personal goods. I never felt they were rushing to shove stuff into their truck.
They ALMOST make moving enjoyable.

We moved about a week ago. They came to my apartment, then my new roommates, and then to the new place.
The three movers were extremely efficient, professional and friendly.

We were new in town, so we didn't know anyone to ask about reliable movers. All the great Yelp reviews led us to try A Simple Move. We were glad we did.
Dwayne was professional and easy to work with. All the guys who worked with him were very friendly and cheerful, even when they are doing some really hard work.
The guys were strong and very fast - they emptied a 26' truck in the 2 hour minimum. They even moved my antique piano around several corners and up steps - it seemed REALLY difficult, but they did it beautifully.
My only complaints: they were about 40 minutes late, although they called to warn us. But they said, "Between 10 and 11" and they got there at 11:40, which was a hassle. I am not taking off any stars because they did call to let us know they would be late, but plan to be flexible on the start time. They are so fast, you'll be done before you know it.
Also, they asked for a tip. I did not mind paying it, because they did a GREAT job, but I think they should just charge more and not ask for tips. Their hourly rate is really inexpensive.
I would definitely recommend A Simple Move. Moving is a hassle, and they made it easy. -

Geoff's company did a fantastic job getting me into my new place and went above and beyond what they should have done -- because the day that my move actually came, I was only 2/3 packed by the time they got there. I definitely underplanned on the amount of time I'd need to pack things up. However, they apparently had seen this kind of situation before and helped me get everything left into boxes and into the truck in a few hours. Which was great, because my back was really to the wall with respect to time. Their rates were quoted at $65/hr to have 2 guys move you, $75/hr to have 3 guys. I took the 3 guys because I had a lot of belongings and figured it'd be more efficient. Everything was packed up, relocated, and moved with care, no scrapes or scratches on the new walls and no damage to any of my belongings. I only had 3 minor gripes about the whole experience:
1) Guy #3 who was brought along had a wicked cold that day -- and sure enough, my friend and I both caught it. Kinda sucked.
2) I called Geoff who said he would call me back that day to provide more information to me and he didn't call back that same day or the next. I had to call him again - was told they'd been "busy".
3) On the turn to the onramp to the Interstate, which was uphill, I saw the light turn yellow and knowing that the truck was big and diesel, knew they'd never make the light, I braked and was going to wait for the next green turn arrow. The truck did not stop and it was a good thing I stayed in gear because I saw an oncoming truck rushing up to my bumper in the rear-view mirror. I somehow managed to dodge out of the way and the truck made the left turn, right through the red turn-arrow, a good 2-3 seconds after the light had turned red. I was a little rattled from the near miss. Warning to people who might hire these guys: do *not* be in front of them if there is a turn to be made and there is a yellow arrow.
Other than those incidents, it was as smooth a move as it could have been given the circumstances (of me not being 100% packed and ready to go). Total bill came out to around $420 or so and I tipped above average for not only their good service but for "saving" me when I was so far behind in packing.

We've hired Geoff Rand @ "a simple move" on two occasions now and have been floored by the excellent service both times.
The first time we used Geoff's service, we hired them cold-turkey without a recommendation. Not only were the movers trustworthy and efficient, they didn't complain one bit when they noticed the 15 long boxes of comic books - which weigh more than a four year old - that had to go up not one, but TWO flights of 15 stairs each. Now that's commitment!
We last used them May 17th when we moved from the same condo in Aurora to our new home in Centennial. Goeff himself and employee Dominic arrived promptly at 9am. Unfortunately, their 17ft moving truck had broken down, and while other movers may have called and canceled, Geoff rented a Uhaul and brought a van AND a flat bed - at no extra charge to us. Not that the charge for using his truck was drastic anyway - it was only $20 for use during the move!!
Geoff and Dominic had the truck packed by 12 noon and unloaded at the new house by 1:30pm. The lack of stairs and staging of the boxes was helpful and saved time for everyone - we were amazed at how quickly they completed the entire move.
Geoff doesn't charge much either. If you're interested in exact rates, please contact me via private message, although I will say that it cost less than $350 for 4.5 hours of their time and man power. Best of all - these guys were attentive - when the wheels on my parrot cages fell off, they didn't just leave them for me to go back and find. They actually picked them up and put them in the cages. NONE of our property was damaged in transit either.
Geoff and his team ROCK. I wouldn't recommend any other company based on the amazing service I've had from "a simple mover." I know you're going to be happy with them too! -

We found "A Simple Move" on yelp, and couldn't have been happier. We are new to the Denver Area and needed to find movers. Geoff was great. He is on time, hard working, and moved everything in the time he quoted us.
His quote was way better than 3 other movers we called, and there weren't any extra fees (gas, mileage,etc.) like the other companies had.
He has a large moving truck, but said if it didn't all fit he has other vehicles and trailers he could bring at no extra cost.
Not only was his quote amazing, it was exactly what we paid when it was all done (plus a tip for being so great!). We have referred him to others since, and they have all been as happy as we were.
Thank you so much Geoff! We need more businesses run the way you run yours! -

We went with A Simple Move mostly due to their great reviews on Yelp. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint!!!
Geoff and Roderick showed up this morning to move us from our 3rd floor apartment in Thornton to a 1st floor in Denver. These two were awesome---and exactly why we hired movers---they know what they are doing and they don't BS. It would have taken me and my friends all day to move (and who knows, we might have just given up on the whole moving thing altogether if we found something better to do---which would be just about anything because moving sucks!!)
Even after selling a lot of things, we still had what we considered to be a ton of stuff. I am sure Geoff and Roderick scoffed at what we had---a sectional sofa, Queen mattress/boxspring, poker table with 6 chairs and about 20 boxes. They had it all in the truck in just over 30 minutes---They are professional and they don't mess around people.
We made it to the new place and, of course, unload was a breeze for them because it was the 1st floor---they finished well under their 2 hour minimum (even with a 30 minute drive).
I was very impressed and we will definitely use them again if/when we move. Highly recommended!

This was my first time using a moving company. After reading other reviews on here I went with these guys and it worked out great. They showed up on time, took as long as they expected, moved my stuff with barely a ding, and charged what they quoted. Can't beat that really. The only downside was that their truck wasn't big enough for all my stuff but just barely. I moved the last tiny bit myself later since I didn't want to pay for extra time to drive back again.

$200.00 plus the $60.00 tip (my choice) to move me, a scooter and my large one bedroom apartment. I have some heavy large items too! Everything was packed and it took about 3 hours to move me. I help a little with the breakable stuff but all was well with the move.

I found these guys on Yelp and called them the night before we needed them to show up the next morning. Dwayne said no problem and his crew was there at 10:30am. He told me on the phone he'd give me a deal on 3 guys but showed up with 4. He said "I hope you don't mind, we are training a new guy, the price is still the same." Do I mind getting a fourth mover for free? Of course not!
They cleared out my entire two story house in an hour. Moving into the storage unit was trickier because of the need to use the elevator and the tight space. However, Dwayne summoned up all of his expertise and skill to figure out how to get the furniture into a tetris-like formation and close the storage unit door.
The guys he brought were all polite and professional. They knicked a few things here and there, but I didn't mind. When you're moving big furniture through tight spaces, things are going to get knicked.
I'm giving them 5 stars. I found them because they were the top of the Yelp list, and I think they should stay there. I will for sure be using them to unload the stuff when I need to move it again in a few months. -

Dwayne and crew were extremely fast, careful and polite through the whole process. He even offered to help set up the bedroom and living room.
He called ahead to let me know his morning move was running late so I wasn't sitting by the phone wondering where they were, unlike most movers I've used in the past. His prices were very low and they charged me per hour for the labor no matter how many people came to help move.
Dwayne has a good thing going and he understands that taking care of people and staying true to your word and commitments is what makes clients for life. I know I'm one! -

I hired A Simple Move to move me from our house in Denver to our new house in Littleton. They did a great job, they were careful with all of our belongings but left a handful of dings on the walls, I've done worse myself being in the house for a few days. Things in the truck were all tied down and moving blankets used. Also, the guys flew, they definitely didn't waste any time loading and unloading the truck.
Now for a little of the bad, I was given a start window from 1-2pm. I received a call at about 12:40 stating that they were running late and to expect them closer to 2-2:30. I was okay with that, at least they told me. As I sat in the house trying to streamline the boxes and furniture to be sure they could move as fast as possible I got another call at 2:25 saying that they were on their way and would be there soon. The guys showed up about 3:10. I know things can go wrong out there on moves and things can sometimes just take longer than expected but its still annoying when you take time off work and end up waiting around.
Once loaded, again these guys flew, we hopped in the car and started driving to the new place. We'd been on the road for about a mile when I received a call from the guys in the truck stating that they were running on fumes and needed to stop for gas. This meant I had to find a gas station close and mostly on the way and wait for them to put some gas in the tank while on my dime.
Then they unloaded, again very quickly, very expertly, after nearly everything was unloaded we went to settle up. When I heard the total I was confused. They'd added a driving fee to the bill that wasn't included in the quote since I was told I was in what is considered the Denver Metro Area and they'd rounded up the time to the nearest 30 minutes (I can't recall exactly but I believe we were right at about 16 minutes which got rounded up). I argued about the drive time being added since I was told during the bid that it wouldn't be and it was removed but I didn't want to push against the rounding up of the time although I wish I would have. Given the late arrival and stopping for gas on the drive I should have nit picked a little more.
Overall I can't complain much, the move got done fast and got done pretty well. The house was left with a few bruises and I was left feeling slightly annoyed but hey, moving is annoying. -

I would not recommend these movers despite other positive reviews on Yelp. They scraped almost every single piece of wood furniture I have and were not very professional. The lead mover made suggestive comments to me during the move, they blared rap music in the parking lot of my new apartment (at 11am in the morning in a residential community) and a 3rd mover randomly showed up when they arrived at my new building, that didn't end up doing anything and instead just stood by the truck and smoked so my furniture ended up smelling like smoke.
I had moved all the boxes myself and it was a relatively easy move, only the large furniture from a 6th floor unit with a loading elevator to a unit up a half flight of stairs. I feel like I could have 'hired' my friends and my furniture would be in better shape, which is exactly the reason I hired movers in the first place.Comment from Dwanye M. of A Simple Move 5/19/2011

Two men and 1 truck moved me out from a 2nd floor studio into an 8th floor 1br in 2:15. I have no complaints about these guys. They are leagues above the other movers I have encountered. They were prompt, careful and seem to care about the job. When you consider all of this for $200 it's a great value! Many thanks!

We just moved the Friday before Christmas and had the most amazing experience with A Simple Move! Sean, Sean, and Qwan were wonderful! If you will remember, 12/22/11 Denver got a huge amount of snow - When the guys showed up they didn't even bat an eye - it was a stellar "get it done" attitude. They were friendly and very considerate. It was a great relief to trust them and in the end, they worked so efficiently that they came in under budget. They have my unconditional recommendation. A HUGE "Thank you!" to Sean, Sean and Qwan - you guys completely made my move and my Christmas weekend!

I have used these guys for 2 moves in the last 6 months and they were great both times. The movers on both teams were friendly, courteous, hard working, careful with my stuff and very respectful of the premises of the apartment communities I was moving out of and into. Prices are very reasonable, these guys stay on task and positive the whole time. My new apartment building manager saw them moving me in and remarked on how great they were - asking them to leave business cards behind for referrals. A Simple Move does not take credit card payments, which is kind of inconvenient, but easy enough to plan ahead around.

The owner read my negative review and contacted me to express his concern about my dissatisfaction. He apologized for the miscommunication and made it clear that he was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I'm happy. Good customer service is common, but great customer service often happens in response to handling a problem, as it did this time.

I had hired different movers for my move and they were to call me at 12 yesterday to let me know what time they would be there for my 2:00 scheduled move. After 1:00 I called and called (nobody is there to answer the phone) and I finally got a hold of someone, only to find out they didn't have me scheduled! They left me hanging on the exact day I had to be out of my apartment. BUT WAIT!!!!
I ended up calling "A Simple Move" and the guys were funny, helpful, careful and came to help me within in hour and a half of me calling. They gave me 4 guys for the price of 2 and waived the $75 flat rate. I would recommend them to anyone reading this review. They saved the day for me even with a broken elevator in my 4th floor apartment moving to a 2nd floor apartment. They sweated their asses off for me and helped me set up everything in my new place. AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! -

After my last moving experience, I was reluctant to hire movers - they're notoriously problematic - but under doctor's orders (stupid lower back!), I hired these guys, and was glad I did.
They were great: punctual, professional, quick, and careful. Plus inexpensive.
It was a small move - one ABF Pod (also highly recommended, incidentally) - but they had it banged out in an hour, and I was extremely grateful for them. I'm moving out of the area, but I would recommend them without reservation, and certainly hire them again if I was local.
