I needed a new tax person pronto! Because I read such great reviews about Patti, I was a bit hesitant to schedule a same-day-appointment with her associate Brenda.
I went ahead, and it was a meeting that I definitely don't regret. Brenda was FANTASTIC. She actually asked me questions relevant to my tax refund, itemizing each category in order for me to get a maximum return. She explained each step accordingly so that I understood the process, especially since I am a new home owner (long form is a little more complex & pricier - fyi).
The entire staff at A Plus was super friendly. I also appreciate that the business is located right in my community. This is personal service at its best = )
Btw.. I'm super stoked about my return ; D -

Went to see Patti again yesterday. She won yet another award for best tax service for 2011. This doesn't surprise me at all, because she is by far the best tax person I have ever used.
Patti doesn't just enter your numbers into the computer like a robot, she actively looks for ways to save you money. It is an interactive tax experience, you give her your data, she will ask you questions, and then she will use that information to get you the biggest return possible. Every year I always forget a thing or two, but Patti never lets me forget. She looks at my forms from last year, and makes sure I use whatever deductions are due to me.
My friend used to use an online tax service, but I talked her into using Patti. My friend was so happy, that I am getting a free dinner out of the larger return that she is getting back. A computer can only do so much when doing your taxes. Having someone in front of you who can ask you questions, and knows how to apply that data to maximize your return, is the best way to make sure that you receive the maximum that is due to you. Besides, a computer cannot tell what to do, to help save you money in the future.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I have driven past A Plus Tax Service hundreds of times but didn't really need to come in until this year. I found Patti on yelp and was nervous to have someone else do my taxes but I was immediately at ease when I met Patti. Patti is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. She knew all the new deductions and whether they apply to me or not. Her staff is wonderful and accommodating as I changed my appointment a few times. I cannot recommend her enough, you will not be disappointed.

I really liked A Plus Tax Service. I called yesterday and was able to get an appt right away. They were really good at scheduling and rescheduling the appt.
When I went there, they were helpful and very efficient. I would highly recommend them in the future. -

Yes, its tax season again! And for homeowners and large investors like myself, we must always have a strong team of financial advisers to lead us into another successful fiscal year (and prepare us well for retirement).
Patti Gutierrez, owner of A Plus Tax Service, is on my financial team. For the past three years, she has done a wonderful job on all my IRS paperwork. She helped me with not only my federal and state taxes filing, but guided me in my property management investments. And even under the so called recession and housing market situation, my family and I continue to do extremely well thanks to Patti.
Though her rates are very competitive, her guidance and past experienced has already saved us thousands of dollars by incorporating any deductions, new laws, and bank programs that are available to us. This is the key to filing each year - knowing what's available to you and how to re-invest your savings or refunds to build a strong financial future.
Thank you Patti. I will see you again at our next meeting.
