My experience with A+ was great! I got nothing but praise for our agent Megan McAtee. She was kind, friendly, fast and thorough, in helping us find a place. We were on a strict time limit with only after 5 pm and weekends available for viewing and selections. It was no problem for Megan. She asked questions I didn't think of asking but glad she did. She even helped us deal with a rude leasing agent in a very kind and productive manner. She is highly recommended. Thanks again Meagan!

Finding a apartment on your own in Austin is painful. I highly suggest calling Monica Machado at A+ Apartment Locator.
We went through 2 apartment locators before Monica ... neither of the prior apartment locators listened to our needs or were responsive in finding something for us ASAP. But, Monica came to the rescue and found us exactly what we were looking for. She listened to our needs and was quick! We moved into our place within a week of signing.

Natalie young is consistent with her quality of service and even though we did not end up in an apartment (we found a townhouse we liked), it was a pleasure to work with her. She is very knowledgeable and practically knows every apartment complex at the back of her hand.
She is also very good with follow up and cares about her clients. -

Natalie Young provided me exceptional, targeted, resourceful, and professional apartment locating service.
I was a picky as they come in regards to my apartment needs. Together Natalie and I narrowed our 'viewing' time to one complex. End result was a bulls eye, home run, perfect fit or nailed it; it take your pick, we got it right.
The convenience of communicating via text messaging was helpful.
She also recommended upon request a small town moving crew that killed it.
Overall, I believe Natalie is at the top of her game; check her out if you're serious about securing a place to call home that fully meets your expectation and need. -

Reasons A+ doesn't get my 5 stars is because
1. they are located - for those of us in the south - way the heck north.
2. they only deal with the big big apt complexes, pretty much.
Although I still don't have a new apartment at this time, I worked with Carol Masters, manager there, and she is a total go-getter. Carol seriously went out of her way for me on a Saturday at 4pm to see what places were still open that I could look at. She took the time to listen to me and see exactly what I wanted. You'd think every apt locator person would do that, but do they? NO!
Carol also got a bunch of those sheets together that let her get credit for finding you places, should you visit one without her, so that she can get paid for helping you find a place. Do I really need somebody following me around to every place I want to look at all over town? Nope! Carol was just cool like that.
If you are looking to rent a place from any of Austin's mid to humonstrously-sized apt complexes, Carol is the person to see. -

Al is quite possibly the most incompotent real estate worker I have ever met. He was seriously drunk and had no idea how to use their locator software. I worked with him two days to no avail, then went out on my own and found a place within two hours.
He kept wanting me to expand my search area past central even though I kept explaining that I'd rather not move at all then live outside of central.

I'd seen some recommendations for Justin Jacobs of A Plus Apartment Locating, so I decided to contact him to help me find a new apartment.
My move came a bit unexpectedly. Normally I would start looking earlier, but I did not start looking until last week for a place available at the end of July, since I would need to be out of my current place before August. Needless to say, I was freaking out a little bit. I called Justin last Thursday morning and explained my situation. He made it seem like the timeline was not a big deal at all, which put me at ease. I told him that I wanted a place located north of Ben White and south of 45th Street, and near a bus stop since I will be attending UT starting this fall. He said no problem.
I called him Friday afternoon when I had not heard back from him and he explained that he hadn't found any places that he felt comfortable showing me. He would have some places for me by Monday. I had been hoping to be able to look at places that Saturday, but fine, I'll wait until Monday.
On Sunday, he calls me and asks me how I feel about the Arboretum area. I told him, no, I did not want to live in that area. Then he asked me how I felt about living on Slaughter. Again, no. Both of these areas were the complete opposite of what I had asked for. Then he says that we can meet on Wednesday to go look at places. To me that was cutting it a little close so I ask him if he can do it earlier, so we settle for Tuesday morning (today). He told me he would email me the location of his office so I could meet him there.
At this point, I decide to start doing some searching on my own, and I'm so glad I did. I never received the email from him with directions to his office. We were supposed to meet at 9am. At 9:30 am I got a call from him asking if we were still meeting. I told him he never sent me the directions and his only response was, "Ohh." No apology or explanation.
Anyway, at this point, I had already found a place on my own. I told him I would not be needing his services, and he had the nerve to tell me to call him if I never needed apartment help again. No, I will not be calling you! In fact, I will tell people to stay away from you and take their business elsewhere!
I didn't feel like he listened to anything I said, especially in terms of location. When I spoke to him on the phone the second time, I had to answer a lot of the same questions again... information that I'd already given him the first time.

I worked with Julio and his secretary Stephanie and they were awesome.
They helped me find place from Connecticut and I loved the apartment they found for me. Good price, good location, nice community... just a nice place!
Unfortunately I had found that place on a special and when my lease was over my rent went back up :(
Anyway, I found another place on http://www.realtor.com that I fell in love with... unfortunately the listing agent for this house was horrible and almost blew the sale for me. When I was really frustrated, I went back to Julio trying to get another house and he really encouraged me to stick with the house I really wanted... which did not benefit him financially at all.
That's what I liked about this guy - he wasn't in it for his own. Sure, he wants to make money as much as the next guy I'm sure... but he gave me sound advice (contacting the broker of the leasing agency that the agent was giving me trouble) which in no way benefited him. I wouldn't have found a place without Jovanna Edone!.
I had to relocate to Austin with less than a month's notice and one of the most stressful times in my life, so I followed my friend Bob's recommendation and contacted Jovanna. I'm so happy I did! She not only paid attention to ALL my criteria (and yes, I was quite picky), but it was also during Thanksgiving week. She provided me a list of places and we went over the pros and cons of each. It was completely personalized to what I asked her. (What a relief to be heard and listened to.) We were able to narrow down to 2 places, which then became one in less than 2 days. I don't know how she did it, because I got the word out to other friends and not one person was able to find the location and price she did.
I couldn't sing Jovanna's praises enough.
Thank you for reading this review but the only way you will really know what a gem she is, is if you contact her and have her help you. When she says she's putting a list together for you, she is! It doesn't cost you anything but saves you time and hassle. She really cares and it shows in the quality of the work and the trust she builds in such a short time during what could be an incredibly stressful experience. Call or write Jovanna! This is the place you will be living, ask for her help.

I have worked with Natalie Young at A+ twice and she has worked with 4 of my friends. She is AMAZING! PERIOD. She knows Austin like the back of her hand, is professional, and can help you find the perfect apartment in a pinch. And if you are indecisive like me, she offers great professional advice and always has your best interests in mind. I will never hunt for apartments alone again. And forget about trolling Craigslist- just go see Natalie and she will make the process easy and stress free. Can not recommend more highly!

I have worked with Natalie of A+ apartment locating for years now! I live south and she has always given me options that perfectly fit my budget and criteria. It also is a huge perk with the $50 giftcard for using them and referrals! She was always so helpful with all of my questions and very knowledgeable. I always mention them to friends because after all they are free!

Ok, there seems to be a lot of controversy over this review. I didn't mean and didn't want to get anyone in trouble. I had the manager contact me personally and apologize. She was really sincere and I appreciate how much this means to her and the company. I love it so much that people are paying attention. I'm giving them another star. I think I really hurt some feelings here. The service wasn't terrible and it can be fixed. Anything can be fixed. I appreciate the help and the tour did help me get a little closer to finding what I like and want. Natalie, you're the best. Thanks for reaching out.
