WOO just started tanning, and I LOVE this place. I walked in not knowing a thing about tanning, and the staff was super helpful and answered all my questions. Beds are clean, and usually you don't have to wait for a room.
My first week I got a little carried away and over tanned. I got burnt and got little white bumps from heat rash. I learned the hard way that I have to space out my tanning sessions! But I'm now gorgeously tan and addicted to this place!
Parking was a little confusing. You can't park on the street, drive around to the back and there's a little parking lot between the salon and some apartments. -

Very nice establishment, but time to change the bulbs in the high pressure bed. I got burned...bad.
I've tanned in high pressure beds several times in the past...the first time I tanned in YEARS, I tanned for 10 minutes in the one at Sole Di Paradiso that had just had the bulbs changed...not even a hint of burn, then a few days later, I tanned the full 12 minutes...again, no burn.
I bought 2 Trubates coupons and used one on my fancy new sunburn, so sadly, I'm going to just chuck the other one in the trash. -

I really like this place compared to Planet Beach. The owner is really nice, so I feel very comfortable here. The price is reasonable as well, especially if you're a first time customer. I think it was $25 for 5 sessions. From what I can remember Planet Beach is more expensive.

The owner was so great! We didn't realize they closed at 8 and walked in, he didn't turn us away our even say anything about it. He chatted us up and even gave us a sample of some lotion to try. Don't hesitate to pick this place if you are looking to tan :-)

Yes, I am guilty of roastin' and toastin' the largest organ in my body-- my skin. But hey! being tan is totally hotness (literally)
One sunny day, I was feeling kind of pale so I decided to go sign up for a tanning spot. I went inside from the back and it was kind of awkward since I didn't know how the receptionist would react since there's 2 entrances (?) Anyway, the guy was totally bomb-diggity and explained everything there is to their beds&spray. No Pressure at alllll! I was actually kind of surprised he was so laid back.
I really appreciated how much advice and step-by-step help he gave me since the beds are different than what I was used to.
So I got to toastin' and it was great :)
Usually it takes a LONG time for my skin to get any color or redness (weird since I'm pretty light) but by day 2, I decided to amp up the time and actually got a little red and color!
Whooo-hoo! Oh and unlimited tanning for such an oh-so-awesome price? Def. Recommend. -

Love this place. It's easy going, chill, relax, and the staff is both extremely helpful and professional. I love, love, love the color I am getting :]]
Every employee I've met (2, plus the owner) have been nothing but kind. The owner himself is fun to talk to and has answered any questions I've had without hesitation.
I even came here once close to closing, and I hate being THAT person for an establishment, cause I know how that feels as the workers...but I reallly wanted to tan and I knew I wouldn't be able to visit again for awhile since I was going out of town- and the owner didn't make me feel uncomfortable about being there last minute or anything. Same pleasant experience I've always had here.
Most def pay these guys and visit, I think you'll like it :] -

I used to tan weekly at another salon in high school. (Don't ask me how long ago that was. Ha!) Stopped for years so I wouldn't overdue it. On 4th of July weekend this yr, I got 2 bad tans / burns. One from laying out at Capitola Beach and got and insane burn / tan that somehow made ONE butt cheek look like it's been on the BBQ; the other, sitting on the patio at one of my favs, Vintage Wine Bar, and somehow managing to scorch one side of my arm / back and not the other. Guess when you're in 90 degree weather and drinking, you don't notice yourself getting roasted until the alcohol wears off. Not Sexy. So I was on a mission to even out my entire body. I went back to my usual tanning salon, but sadly, it was closed down. Luckily, I have Yelp downloaded on my iPhone and your rave reviews brought me here that very day!
A Perfect Tan is in a great location that always has parking. The girl at the front was friendly and beautiful; actually, all the girls that work here that I've seen are beautiful. :0) She told me about the first timer special; 5 tans for $25 or something like that. I was thinking I'd only be using that much anyway to even myself out. She suggested I only go for 5 min the first couple of times, which turned out perfect. The entire store, not just the beds, is clean. There's a fan in the bed that automatically turns on because the bulbs are like 2 times stronger. Thank goodness I only did it for 5 min cause I would have been burnt if I did it longer. (At my old salon, I taned from 8-15 min so big diff in bulbs) Overall, good first impression. Second time I went there, the other girl was friendly and very efficient. I like how I didn't have to say anything, she just asked for my name and pulled me up and put me in for 5 min. I was in and out in less than 8 min, which I like! The next few times I came in, I was asked which room I like the best (#5) and always accommodated me and put me in the room I desired. There's always customers when I come, but there's never a wait.
I love the fact that I "checked in' to A Perfect Tan on Yelp and "unlocked" the $25 for unlimited monthly tanning. (Totally FaceBooked that too so my social network would know about this awesome deal!) Now, instead of just doing the first package, I can be a regular and maintain my tan throughout the year (although I'm not trying to turn all leathery or anything). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tanning salon! Keep up the great customer service cause that is what keeps me coming back instead of searching for something better :0)Listed in: Favs!

Finally! An affordable tanning salon. $25 for unlimited tanning! No more paleness, summer here I come! Their lotions seem cheaper than most tanning salons as well. I purchased the JWOW (I know, lame) lotion for $35 and so far with two tanning sessions I see the results. A little burnt and red looking but that will turn into a nice tan :)

Yes, my dirty little secret is that every now and then I still LOVE to go and tan.
This place is close to my apt and is clean, easy to park and the staff is super chill.
Go for the premium bed, there is DEFINATLY a difference in your color.
Also, dont forget to check out the yogurt place two doors down, it is to die for!Listed in: Does this make me look Fat?

This place is awesome! I decided to start tanning for my upcoming wedding. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time, but the lady who helped me was extremely helpful and patient and so incredibly nice and friendly. So far every visit has been great -- its always clean, the price is right, and the employees are amazing!

Perfect Tan is a super friendly place! They have a new owner and everyone is SO helpful!
I tried the spray tan on my stomach with my best friend, we wanted to see how it would turn out and it was really really really good, it didnt turn orange and it looked like I went tanning in the beds for about a week! I went swimming the next day and it still didnt fade too!
One of the girls that works there has the spray tan done and she looks gorgeous with it too! Try it!
I really really like this place, its a perfect location too! -

When I want to look a little golden, I go tanning. I am not an avid tanner, I'll go here and there - or when I am bored. If you love to tan every day, week, or every month, this is the place to go.
If you purchase a package, they never expire - EVER! Most of the time you find the owner working and he is always so friendly. The place is spotless. They just updated their machine - you can listen to Elton John or your choice of radio stations while you bake.
Since Tropical Tan closed awhile back, this has been my spot to go. The price is reasonable - considering that your "stars" never expire! -

Maybe I'm being too easy, but I have to give A Perfect Tan 5 stars for their prices and helpfulness. I'm such a n00b and have never been to a tanning bed before but I'm just weeks before my wedding and decided to go a few shades darker. The gal at the desk was so, so, so helpful in explaining every single detail. I started out with a 5 for $25 deal since I was a new customer and she even got me to purchase the mandatory goggles plus some JWOW bronzer. I'll admit, I kind of leaned towards that one because of the name (Jersey Shore!!). The time in the bed really flies by because you're allowed to select a radio station to listen to, so by the time 2-4 songs finish up, you're done! I have been twice so far and both workers have been really nice, not the type you would expect to work at a tanning salon. =)

I left sunny San Diego for spring break to come back home to the Bay Area only to find out it was going to rain for half the week...
Normally my Spring Break consists of going to the beach and actually coming back with a tan but it was not looking like that was in the cards for me so I decided to stop into this tanning salon near my house. Normally I am really against "fake and baking" but with the rain I decided to stop in to get a littttle color.
The staff was genuinely helpful and weren't like the normal stuck up girls they usually hire at tanning salons.
P.S This place did NOT close, they just moved down the street on the corner of Stevens Creek and Blaney. -

I'm new and in to simply get a base tan before my vacation but the staff clearly know their regular clients and are very friendly and knowledgeable. The salon is very clean and the packages are affordable. I highly recommend this spot.

I really wanted to like this place because I was in need of getting a base tan for my sister's summer wedding BUT once I walked into the shop I was not greeted by the associate and did not feel welcomed. After the associate helped the regular customers, I had to ask for help because this is my first time in a tanning salon. He briefly went over the packages and then I had to ask all the questions even though I told him I am a newbie to tanning. In the end, I decided to keep looking around for a customer service oriented tanning salon.

I have been coming here for about 3-4 years on and off seasonally and have always been happy with my results. The staff is well educated about the services and very friendly. There's a variety of beds to choose from (standard, high power, special orbit bed) and they recently started offering Mystic Tan also. There's also a different variety of packages to choose from based on how often you tan and student discounts are available. There usually isn't too much of a wait, if any, for the bed that you want and you always have the option of calling ahead to make an appointment, which they always honor. Each room has it's own CD player/radio with headphones, a new towel each time, and the beds have their own little built in fans. As long as I keep tanning I'll definitely return here.

5 Stars all around! The salon is very clean, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming!! How about a salon that really doesn't care so much about the pressure of sales, but rather on getting your needs met with great prices and tells you everything UPFRONT! No hidden fees, prices or mambojambo!!

This is one of the best tanning salons I've ever been to! The beds are clean and powerful.. The staff is SO nice.. Usually girls who work at tanning salons are beyyottcheess, but they are super sweet here!! And the owner is hilarious, I love chatting with him before and after I tan! The prices are super reasonable, and there is always cold water available!

Great place! Affordable prices and great deals. Nice staff, I didn't have to repeat my name twice, they always remember it, even when I don't show up for a few months. The owner is super friendly and is always looking to invest in the salon, last year he switched all the beds to new ones. I definitely recommend it.

I love this place, I live very close by, Larry is sound out and very pleasant. The reason this place loses a star is because the girl that is sometimes there is a bit odd, yes I'm not American and have an accent get over it, but ya this place rocks :-)
