oh no!!! if you havent yet lase tagged at new world you gotta get down there quick .. they are closing 11/20/11 .. sad to see one of the few non-restaurants that occupy downtown middletown close ..

Its the future, 3099, where all cybergangs identify themselves with primary colored shock vests and matching guns, and run through the fluorescent darkness of black light.
Welcome to the New World!
If you have group of friends, and you are in the area, its a good time. We tried a couple varieties of games from Team Death-match, and Capture the Flag. The people who run the place are pretty laid back. The master commander even shared her SKITTLES with us. That's decent customer service. We were one of the last groups in from 10 to midnight, got play with just our group of 11, which was pretty sweet.
It is a little pricey, as we got in for 3, 15-minute games for $16 per person. Its worth it for special occasions, as it cheaper than a bar tab (If Saturday was any indication, about $100s cheaper.)
They also run private parties and church group lock ins. It looks like a local run shop, from what i can tell, so I'm sure rates are pretty negotiable.
