As we were docking at the Sausalito Ferry Terminal, we heard the song, 'Oh what a beautiful morning", from the play, "Oklahoma".
The music got louder and sweeter as we dis embarked.
Turns out this music was being played on a "(pocket trumpet) by the A Marin Taxi's Trumpetista, Alfonce.
We proceeded to hire his livery/taxi/limo services to the utmost delight of our whole crew visiting this beautiful Marin Area.
Have him take you to, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, the Top of Mt Tam, Bolinas Wildcat Coastal Trail, the Ink Wells in Nicasio. -

Alfonce, even provides a wake up call if u need one. I use him all the time.
i know i will never miss my flight!!
Ask him to play his mini Trumpett, as a GOOD LUCK, Send Off.
He has the best rates in town -

thank you, yelp. I had a last minute need to get into the city, and was escorted by a charming gentleman who was on time, and on charge. he even stood by his initial trip charge estimate, even tho the meter rate was higher at the end of the trip.

I have been commuting to Larkspur from San Francisco for the last week and for another month for a consulting gig. Getting from the ferry to work has been a nightmare with public transit, so I have been relying on taxis to get from Larkspur to Corte Madera. I could review most of the players in this area -- but, I had a great ride with Alfons from A Marin Taxi (via Bubba's Taxi -- also recommended). He got me to the Larkspur ferry and I missed the boat by no more than 60 seconds. He felt badly about this and he drove me all the way to Sausalito so I did not have to wait over an hour for the next one (ferry is on reduced schedule due to breakdowns). He did all that for free! I def. will be using his service again -- plus, the ride was just entertaining ... he was cracking me up all the way. I bet he gives good tourist tours, etc.

I am a nurse and my car broke down so I called this taxi an hour before and I specifically told him to please be hear at 7:40 and at 7:55 I called asking where he was and he asked me for directions then said he would be here in 10 minutes. at 8:05 I called and asked where he was and he didn't even answer the phone. So inconsiderate, I had an emergency to take care of a dying woman. I won't ever call again
