For some reason, my review of "A Girl and a Camera Photography" keeps disappearing from Yelp. I'm not sure why?
Jen (the girl) is an awesome photographer. I continue to refer friends, and friends of friend, to her, and people always come back to tell me how much they love her work and their new photos.

My fiancé and I just spent an afternoon with Jennifer shooting our engagement photos. We haven't seen the photos yet but we can tell from her art direction and excitement that they will be amazing. We would have her shoot our wedding if she wasn't already booked. It was a really fun experience working with Jen. Highly recommended!

My now husband and I used Jennifer as our wedding and engagement photographer and I can honestly say there was not a bad photo. She did an amazing job at capturing the moment for us and got details of the day that we would be clueless of, if there wasn't a picture of it. Literally we had flowers and details that we overlooked on the big day and I am so happy she caught it for us. Jen did an amazing job on our engagement photos my husband is half Korean and it was important to his mom that we take traditional Korean wedding dress photos. Jen picked out the perfect site and the photos turned out great and she took photos of us normally dressed at the beach. For the actual wedding day she was great every bride will be nervous and she helped claim the nerves a little and even was laughing with us when we were talking about poop. Everyone is asking who was your photographer the photos are great. Jen even gave me the name and number to our great florist/wedding planner.

Jen is amazing! When I first checked out her webpage I immediately saw that she takes beautiful pictures which capture the mood of each setting. I could not be happier with the engagement and wedding pictures she took. She listened to what I was looking for and more than delivered. What's more, she's got such an amazing personality you will want to go grab drinks with her after your session!
Having been a very nervous bride I can say that on your wedding day you want a calm, cheery person taking your pictures, and that's Jen. I kinda wish I was planning another event so that I could hire her again.
I promise that if you hire A Girl and a Camera Photography you will be more than happy with your decision.
When I first posted this I forgot to mention Jen's assistant, Jeff. He too did an amazing job capturing candid shots during the ceremony and reception. The two work very well together and even though I hadn't met him until the day of, I felt just as comfortable around him as I had with Jen. They're a great duo.
Also, everyone who saw our engagement and wedding photos keeps commenting on how great they are, and how the two did a great job of rising above the typical wedding day photos. Between you and me...I am NOT the type of bride who spends hours admiring picture of herself, but I keep pulling up the engagement and wedding pictures on my computer. My husband and I are both really happy we went with Jen.
Finally, I had actually booked someone else before I met with Jen. Two seconds after leaving our initial meeting, after I conferred with my then-fiance to confirm he was on board, I called Jen to reserve her, and cancelled the other photographer. Best decision ever.
Bottom line: you WILL be happy. -

I bought a Groupon for a personal photo session, just because I wanted to have pretty pictures to give my mom, and of course the day I made an appointment to take them, it was pouring rain on campus at Cal, where I wanted them done. Jennifer was a really good sport, though. Even with my lack of photogenic-ness, and the rain, some of the pictures came out really nice, and I definitely was happy to share them with my mom. 4 stars.

This was my first experience in having professional photos taken of myself and they came out AMAZING ! I had no idea I looked so good..lol.
Jennifer is so professional, patient, and has a talent for photography.
She has an artistic eye and really knows what she is doing. She made me feel so relaxed, and comfortable. She also styled my hair, and to be honest, I have never looked so good. :)
Many people have seen my photos, mostly head shots, and are just in awe at how great they look. All Jennifer's doing! -

Jennifer is the BEST :) We adore her, her sweet nature, and AWESOME photography skills. She aims to please her clients to the fullest and totally works around what you need. Her photography style is just what I was looking for, and trust me, I'm picky. After searching literally 100s of wedding photogs, I knew she was "the one". I'm telling you, finding the right wedding photographer is comparable to finding my now husband haha! It was just that "finally, just what I was looking for" moment. She did wonders with our wedding photos considering our venue was limited on scenery opportunities for fab shots. Honestly, you could pose in an alley and Jen would make it the most fabulous picture!!! She takes such a great variety of photos, can't wait to do pregnancy/baby photos next :) Jen can literally capture every stage in your life in the perfect way. Do not even hesitate to contact her, for any type of photography! Love love love her!!!!

I have never written a review for anyone, let alone a photographer! But I had my grand daughters photo's taken by "A Girl and a Camera Photography." I found her to a professional in every way, setting up the shots and directing the second camera with ease, really working for perfection. My next session will be for my wedding in June. Sweet girl, smart and accommodating!

Loved loved loved the process and the finished product! Jennifer was kind, patient, and creative with our family. Photographing two adults, two children and two dogs in Golden Gate Park could not have been an easy task. We all appreciated how she didn't seem to be in a rush, didn't get overly-directive, and didn't get frustrated when our puppies (and kids) went running off in opposite directions. We cannot recommend her enough.
