Matt is amazing!!!!! we were lucky enough to find him back in 2009 and we have gone to him plenty of times since then and referred him to everyone we know! Matt and his wife Jen are nothing but very nice to us and treat us like VIP everytime we even inquire about a limo! they are super professional, always on time, and have accommodated us every single time even if they were all booked up. their customer service is 5 stars, limos are 5 stars and prices you can't beat!! trust me I've done research!!
we will never go to anyone else again!!!! -

These guys are one of the best in the industry. When it comes down to looking for a family owned business. A cut above limo has shown me that it's all about reputation. Which they have definitely earned in my eyes.

We had the pleasure to use a limo from A Cut Above Limo today for my sister's bridal party get-together in Napa and I must say that the service that was provided was BEYOND EXCELLENT!!!
BOOKING AND MATT:
Matt was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had used their service before. He's very responsive and he gave me such a good price for a 10 passenger limo. I've called other companies for competitive pricing but I got the best price from Matt. He gave me a quote back in May and I didn't book until July but he still gave me the same quote when I called. He so easy to talk to, he answers his phone all the time which made it easier when I have questions for him prior to the event.
LIMO:
Limo was nice and clean. It was stocked with water and some soda. Plenty of room in the trunk to put all our bags, cooler for our picnic.
DAY OF EVENT & OUR DRIVER, GREG:
Greg was our driver today. Our pick-up time was at 9 AM. He arrived on time and helped us with all the stuff that we have to put in the car. He noted my itinerary and wrote down all the details of the trip. He even asked us if we want to stop anywhere on the way to Napa. He was always there to open the door for us and even offered a hand whenever we get out of the limo. We originally wanted to do a picnic lunch at V. Sattui but we had a change of plan and he drove us to a nearby park to have our picnic instead. He was always on time when I call him that we're ready to move on to our next itinerary. Overall, he was such a GREAT guy! Really GREAT!
The whole experience with A Cut Above Limo was exceptional. I totally recommend them to people who are in need of limo service. They're very professional and are super nice. -

AMAZING!!!!! Among a wide variety of great words to describe the service A Cut Above limos gives... I've rented 1 limo and two party Buses from them within the last month and every single event i have been amazed with the performance of this company... Buses clean, meeting time deadlines, staff is incredible I've had the pleasure in Having Matt, Joe, and Phil and all of them did an amazing job.... This is the only limo company I probably will ever use again...

My friends and I had a great time making our own wine tour of Sonoma a couple of weekends ago. Our driver (I think his name was Kevin?) arrived early and was very polite and friendly. He showed us how to operate the nifty lights and gadgets inside the Escalade limo (my memory sucks so the branding might be wrong here), and his son *happened* to leave a Transformer in the car from the night before which provided us amusement throughout the day. He handled the car very well, and timed our arrivals accurately.
Everything was great except for two things related to the GPS dependency, hence four stars instead of five: 1) He had to have an exact address instead of an intersection for the next pick up of our friends. I understand GPS units aren't the smartest tools around, but it's pretty weird that it supposedly can't find 1st St and Mission St in San Francisco without us looking this up on our iPhones and providing an approximate address. 2) On the way back, he timed our arrival perfectly with traffic, BUT, the traffic was totally avoidable. We took a route from GG Bridge through Union Square to get back to 1st and Mission, and as we all know around here, Union Square is to be avoided like the plague - doesn't matter what the GPS unit says.
But as I said, all was on time across our nine stops, and the car was nice, and the driver was a gracious fellow. I would definitely use this service again. -

Matt is awesome and so friendly! We booked a limo for my friend's 25th birthday and the whole night was amazing! One of my friends left something in the limo and Matt went above and beyond to find it and meet me so I could return my friends items!! Definitely will book with them again!

A Cut Above Limo is by far the best! I have used their services many times and have recommended them to a lot of friends and family. I used a Cut Above Limo for my dads 60th birthday party and it was the best experience my family and I had. The entire party was extremely pleased with the stretch escalade as well as the services Matt provided! I can say that every time I have used their services they are always on time and offer the best prices around.
Every driver I have had is always extremely friendly and helpful. Matt the owner is great! He is always taking that extra step to make sure sure that his customers are satisfied.
I would definitely recommend A Cut Above Limo for any and all events. -

I had the pleasure of meeting Matt with A Cut Above Limo yesterday, Sunday! We had a great day wine tasting in the Gilroy area. We were met by Matt, on time, with the Hummer Limo at our pick up location. The service Matt provided was excellent, From the first email to the last one after our trip was great! Matt was very professional and made sure he had all the details of the trip.
Everything was excellent and we had a great day! The price was great, the service was OUTSTANDING, and I can't wait to book another limo tour with A Cut Above Limo.
Unlike some, I got to see first hand the difference in "other" discount limo companies. My wife booked a wine tasting trip with another company on Saturday. She was trying to save money for the girls she was going with. They had fun but the company doubled booked the driver, so the driver was an hour late, the trunk of the limo was bungied corded shut, the company was hard to get a hold of and did not return emails right away...
All I can say is that I wish my wife could of booked with Matt and A Cut Above Limo first. I experienced nothing like that at all!!!

I used A Cut Above Limousine for my wedding. They were referred to me my friend. I talked to Matt several times before the wedding. Each time I spoke to Matt, he was very professional. I really appreciate that he wanted to get a good idea of the event and my expectations. The car Matt sent was perfect; a white limo that seated 7 people. On the day of the event, the limo driver Greg got us where we needed to be on time. Thank you A Cut Above Limousine: 5 stars!

I have been using A Cut Above Limo since December of 2010 every month for my events that I throw. GREAT PRICES and GREAT SERVICE. It is hard not to choose them.
I've used every vehicle they have to offer, and by far their best one is their 20-26 passenger bus. A mobile club that will take you anywhere you need to go. Has state of the art LED lighting, a stripper pole right in the middle, and a sound system to really enhance the excitement of the night to come!
I recommend them to all, and I will definitely continue my business with them. -

I am an event planner and was reffered to this company by a friend. We planned a wine tour in Livermore for 16 girls and we all had a fantastic time in the hummer that we rented. Hands down the best limo service in the bay area! I will go through this company for all future events and I will definitely refer anyone and everyone! I've had the chance to ride in 3 of their limos on 3 different occasions (The Hummer, The Escalade and a regular sized limo). Each time I had a BLAST and so did ALL of my friends!!! The limos are very classy and comfy (great combo)! Jeni and Matt are wonderful and will definitely make sure your event is a success! The prices are unbeatable and the drivers are helpful and easy going. You will NOT be disappointed with A Cut Above Limo! A Cut Above Limo exceeded expectations. They were able to book a last minute wedding limo for me and were friendly and courteous. Our driver showed up early and was patient with several children riding inside. They followed up with both of us after the event to see if we enjoyed our experience. I will reccomend them to anyone!

A Cut Above Limo is the greatest limo service I have ever used. All of the limos are extremely classy and have great sound systems, big wheels and cool lights inside. Their service is great! The drivers are always on time and will drive you safely to your destinations. I have used their Escalade stretch limo, Hummer stretch limo and party bus. If I had to choose a favorite it has to be the Escalade because I haven't seen another one like it. You'll definatley turn heads when you pull up in one of their limos. I have used them for clubs, wine tours and a wedding. Their prices are very reasonable and you get more than what you pay for. Ask for Matt the owner he'll give you a great deal... Hope this helps you guys out looking for a great limo service!

This is now a second review one year later. So yes, we used Matt again for our limo needs for a small staff party from the Peninsula to San Francisco Downtown. Service and vehicle was once again perfect! Our staff party was planned last minute and I had contacted Matt just a week prior and in the interim, we had quite a few changes take place, yet Matt was sooo accomodating. I just feel a bit bad as this time around staff was not as "tidy" as we had to change clothes from an ice skating venue to a nightclub and we did this in the Limo while munching on chocolates and fruits and drinking Margaritas. Yikes! Still, Matt followed up the day after to ensure that our night went well. Again, use Matt, he is just the best in price, customer service and simply put, he has outstanding people skills and hires the best Limo Drivers (pleasant and understanding). We had quite a few setbacks on the road and Ryan, our driver, was just awesome!

Had the best time celebrating my brother's birthday in a limo. We went so SF and we traveled in style....yeah!
These guys were punctual and professional. Their Hummer limo was clean and very fun to ride in. We definitely had a blast. I will definitely use them again for my bachelor party or a even a wine tasting event. -

I used A cut above limousine service for my birthday in June 2011 I booked since may because of the great price i would not find this price no place else...Matt was always on top of all my questions phone calls and called me to check in with address pick up days before my pickup and also before the driver arrived...I picked the hummer it was beautiful clean and enough space for my crew had a blast on my way to San jose and mike the driver was awesome great attitude! At the end of the night mike was infront of my drop off that was a plus:) so I deff recommend to people,friends,family I will have more events with A cut above...price great,beautiful car,driver awesome,Matt great service :)

Had made arrangements for limo to pick us up. Confirmed times, pick up and locations, plus price. And the limo never showed, no call no nothing... HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

By far the greatest limo service I've ever experienced! Me and some friends made the appointment to go out into the town and party. The limo service met and went beyond expectations. I felt comfortable in the car and the interior of the limo was luxurious fit for Kings and Queens. The driver was also very cool and knew what he was doing. We got to our destinations on a timely fashion. I recommend that anybody who needs limo service go to A Cut Above Limo because they will take care of you and get the job done with style and integrity. They will exceed your expectations!

I have used A Cut Above for my wedding and for my buddies bachelor party. Both times we received amazing service with a great price. The limo was on time and very flexible to our needs. We took the escalade for our wedding and the H2 for the bachelor party. Both we very clean with great sound systems. The driver was very friendly and personable. I highly recommend these guys and will only use them for my future limo needs.

A few months before our wedding, we had been looking for a limo service that could drive our entourage of 14 (!) around for a few hours. Most services seemed fairly basic and limo suv's were outrageous in cost. But in the end, A Cut Above Limo found us. And what a find it was!
+ The limo arrived at our hotel on time [score!] and patiently waited downstairs as my girls and I frantically finished getting ready.
+ Spacious interior with enough room for half the entourage + mom [pre-ceremony] and entire entourage + photographer [post-ceremony].
- A/C was not turned on and interior was warm when we entered. Not good on a beautiful sunny day with 8 women gussied up with hair & make-up. Luckily the ride was a short one. Air finally cooled moments before we arrived at the church.
- Driver forgot to have ice ready for us after the ceremony. He had it ready before the ceremony, but didn't bother to have some ready for the ride between the church and the reception. Wha?!
+ Driver was courteous and professional. Apologized for the lack of ice, helped the ladies - and me! - in and out of the limo, assured that we were comfortable and routed us through the traffic.
+ Sound system was bumpin'
+ Awesome rates
+ Roll in style. I honestly couldn't tell you what type of limo we had. But it was a limo SUV and it looked sleek. I've seen a few pics of their fleet and they all look on point.
+ Customer service was good. Matt ensured that he had all the details for the day (times, locations, etc.)
We had a great time for the few hours we had. We know that we'll definitely use this service again... Hmm, maybe a wine tour is in our future... ;-) -

used them for our wedding recently, Jenny was the driver on the day, she arrived early and patiently waited for me and 4 of my bridesmaids. Limo was nice and clean, there were plenty of champagne glasses for the entire wedding party of 10. It was a short ride for us, but definitely enjoyed the service. Most of all, they are very reasonably priced compare to all other vendors in the area! Will definitely use them again given the opportunity.
