This is everything a comic book store should be: a focus on a sense of place and the customer experience. These guys see the future of comic book stores and the industry.
I miss spending my money here. -

The place is awesome! Always hosts events and parties and they have a great selection of comics. They're so friendly and treat you like they're your best friends.
I recommend the dating party happening january 13th for those currently single ;) http://www.facebook.co... -

Bought two World of Warcraft starter sets awhile back from this place, the only two they had, and got home and opened them to find the boosters inside had been opened and were missing cards. I should have known better when I noticed the plastic outer wrapper had been removed. Will never go back.

Awesome little comic shop in the strip mall by, you guessed it, Lollicup.
They have all your favorite heroes, villains and whatnot. There's a door near the back labeled "geek easy" and I had one of the employees explain it to me.
It's a room with some tv's, games, art tables and supplies. They have get togethers in there involving sketching, gaming and nerdin out. My kinda place.
Overall it's a good solid comic shop. -

Good selection. They have music playing in the store at a nice volume and the staff is very cool and down to earth. Really seems like they wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
The Geek Easy is such a great idea. The co-owner described it to me as a "Sports Bar for Nerds". After checking it out and hearing that endorsement I bought a membership. Can't wait to check out the next episode of The Walking Dead in the company of some fellow nerds here. -

For my first time in a comic book shop I was overwhelmed by all the different comics out there. But Oral was a DREAM! He had such a vast knowledge of comics that he was able to help everyone in our group find exactly what they were looking for. He was a god send & has introduced me to the Locke & Key series, opening my mind to this wonderful world! Definitely a keeper!

A great shop. After losing interest in comic books for nearly 20 years, I popped in to A Comic Shop after reading a review in the Orlando Weekly. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but what really hooked me was the Fan Fix program.
Basically, you can rent a graphic novel for about 1/4 to 1/3 of the cover price. They've got a huge selection of rentals and no late fees. While I'd hesitate to drop $15 on one volume, and a couple of hundred for a complete series, Fan Fix lets me try things out and makes it easy on the wallet to read an entire series.
I doubt I would've gotten back into reading comics if I had not found the Fan Fix program. I like that the shop focuses on reading and enjoying, rather than collecting and hoarding. While I haven't attended any of their numerous special events, they look like really innovative and fun ideas. -

This is a comic store for READERS. No figures, statues or RPGs. For that go down the street 3 miles to Sci-Fi world.
Very well staffed and great selection of new issues and graphic novels. If you aren't sure what's good, these guys can help cater to your tastes. They even know future shipping/arrival dates by memory!
Highly recommended for all comic fans or those interested in just getting started.
No back issues! Again, try Sci-fi world.
Fan Fix: an innovative graphic novel rental system. If you live nearby, try this out!

This is the best comic store I have been in. Nothing in old back issues hut everything current and in chronological order. There is an awesome lounge in there a well and the owner is extremely friendly! The staff is the best I have seen and they have signs all over so you can learn what is popular and why. This is what comic shops should strive to be like.

This is the most amazing comic shop around! The thing I love the most is the friendliness of the staff. For the most part comic shops are plagued by weirdo types that tend to have no social skills and often times are a surly lot. At 'A Comic Shop' that is so not the case. The selection is outstanding, and well organized. Can't find something? No problem the customer service is great and if they don't have it they will try to order it for you. Then the icing on the cake is the special events that they host, such as the drinking and drawing that I recently attended. Comics, art, and beer...heaven.

This place is great! The comic shop itself is perfect: it's a mix of everything for all different kinds of comic fans, and it's staffed by some of the coolest people you'll ever meet. However, the real hidden treasure is in the back. There's a room called the Geekeasy where they hold events and you can hang out reading and playing games.

This is a great little comic shop run by a couple pretty cool guys who are always there to help you out. The place is organized very well, with helpful signs telling you about the best comics of the week. They always have a lot of events going on, as you can see on their website. You get 20% off new comics on Wednesdays. I'd like it a lot more though, if they had any selection of old comics -- it's mainly new comics and graphic novels.

My favorite comic shop. I live a mile away from ACME but I travel to give my business to A Comic shop. The guys that own it are charming and very nice to their customers. Attended a book signing during St Paddys day, which was fun and cool. Definitely the place to buy your comics.
