Review from Mina J.

Michelle at A Color Affair Murals is truly a talent! Not only is her product superb, but she is also dependable, responsible and thorough in all her interactions. We found her services to be professional from beginning to end and were totally satisfied with the end product. Michelle was willing to make the changes we requested and truly brought our vision to life. The beautiful mural that Michelle painted on our baby girl's ceiling will be enjoyed for years to come. We loved that she not only came by for a consultation, but also created a draft and quote of our work so we knew exactly what to expect.
Michelle seems to love what she does, and we love her for it! Thank you Michelle!! -
Review from Driton M.

Michelle recently did a mural for our small restaurant and we are very impressed and pleased with her work of art. After seeing 2 mural of hers at our friends' laundromat we inquired about her and got a great reccomendation. She works fast and is felxible with her times to adjust to her clients. She is very nice and wonderful at what she does. She is quick in responding to you with an estimate and even a virtual look or sketch of what your piece of art will look like when finished. I will tell you one thing, her work in person is even better then what it looks like on paper! Check out her works on facebook and I'm sure you'll be convinced.
Sincerely,
Your friends at Speede Stop Cafe

Hand Painted Murals by Michelle Black, A Color Affair ... It's less expensive than you think ... Check out my website, see all the murals I've painted throughout Atlanta and then send me an email. I love to hear your ideas for your mural.
Each of the murals I create are hand painted and designed for a client of A Color Affair. The clients always have such wonderful ideas and plans. I just come in to help put their ideas on the wall. As you look through www.acoloraffair.com at all the murals I've painted, click on murals that catch your eye or you're interested in. It'll take you either to a page dedicated just for that mural, a series of murals like it or it'll just be larger picture.
I hand paint murals throughout Metro Atlanta but I'll travel just about anywhere. I also sell prints of murals in large sizes so you don't have to be local to get a mural. Call me!

History
Established in 2008
My husband and I got married on 6-20-2008, right after we bought our first home on June 11th. My son wanted me to paint his name on his new bedroom wall with a soccer ball. So I sat down at my table and drew and drew until I got that soccer ball down right. Then I went up and painted my son's mural; after many experiments and errors later -soccer balls are more complicated than you might this, he had a custom mural. I had so much fun painting that soccer mural and decorating his room that I thought I could do this for a living! And that's how the mural business took off. I took pictures of the mural and placed an advertisement on craigslist.com on July 7th, 2008. Custom Murals for Sale; Let's talk about what you would like to see in that special space was the ad and then people started calling me. My very first professional client was ZOO ATLANTA. Now they have 9 of my murals. And now you know the history, stayed tuned for the present, so I can have a future.

Meet the Business Owner: Michelle K.
Muralist & Artist. Have always loved sketching and painting. I first realized I wanted to be an artist when I was in the 6th grade in Texas where the art I was creating was the first real thing I took pride in and felt good about myself when I finished the piece.
I continued my Art Classes all the way through high school, Duluth High School in Georgia where my family moved to when I was a freshman. Well, I wanted to be this big, famous artist and get paid to do what I love ... But then Life Happened. I stopped painting as both my children were born and I was trying to raise them alone. I started painting again in my early 30s, drawing into the wee hours of the morning, painting anything and everything I could. When I couldn't afford canvases (which was often), I could afford cheap wood. When I couldn't afford paint, I used pencils or found old house paint.
