In the mail, I received a sheet of "Hello New Neighbor" coupons (6 coupons each for $10 off) so I was more than happy to give Cleaner World a try.
I was thrilled to see they offer drive-up service, which I have not seen anywhere since the 1970s as a kid. I was doubly thrilled to find out they have next day service.
I presented my $10 off coupon along with my clothes and was told she could not accept it because it was Wild Wednesday and you cannot use these coupons with other specials. Whaaaaaaaaaat?
So the next day when I picked up my dry cleaning, I presented the same coupon. This time, the (different) clerk gladly took it, recalculated my bill, and said how grateful they would be if I could present the coupon when I bring in my clothes. I said thank you for accepting it and I would remember in the future.
The cleaning job they did on my clothes was perfectly fine. So I plan on using the remaining 5 of my $10 off coupons, avoiding Wild Wednesdays. -

Pros:
--Quick turn around - 1 day for basic services
--Drive up service (very convenient)
--Prices are reasonable
--Seem to use better (environ. friendly) practices than most other cleaners
Cons:
--Paper system. I've been using Cleaner World as my primary cleaners for months now, and realize that they need some sort of electronic system to collect data/recognize regular customers. When you drive up they'll ask you for your name, phone number and give you a slip to bring back when your order is ready. If only they had some sort of way to recognize repeat customers that process would be a bit more speedy.
But that's really my only issue, and a small one at that. I trusted them to dry clean my wedding dress, which albeit pricey, was a great process. Would definitely recommend A Cleaner World over any other local dry cleaners I've been to. -

I went to their web site and found a discount coupon. Showing up at the local store to use the discount, I was told, "Oh we don't honor those coupons. It varies from location to location." No such statement on the web site. So why offer them.
I haven't been back. So they got $5 more from me once, and no more business ever again. Pretty stupid business sense if you ask me. -

I wanted to post an update after receiving a personal note from the prez of A Cleaner World. The message was quite professional and the company took the time to look up my order, evaluate what I'd said and contact me to offer a gift card covering the amount I'd spent. Their motto, accordingly is "We do it right the first time or it's free."
Considering I didn't voice my concerns at the business itself -- and certainly didn't expect to receive such a great response to a review I'd left on an unclaimed biz profile -- I'm applauding A Cleaner World for their professional approach.
