My Mom told me about A-Chau and I've been there several times. Their prices seem low and I think they are a Vietnamese supermarket. Their parking lot is not one of the largest, but my car got out of there unharmed. My last couple of times I went for the produce. This time I spent less than $6 on Nong Shim Onion Rings, French Bread Rolls and "Gummy Mini Burger" - a bunch of candies in a plastic carrying case.
Next time I'm in this area, I'll try to stop by. -

A-Chau scares me sometimes. lol Its such a typical vietnamese/chinese supermarket.
The sad part about this place is that you have a majority of vietnamese people coming into the store, but only half of the workers can speak vietnamese and the other half speak chinese.
It kind of smells....I mean what vietnamese.chinese market doesn't smell you know? I guess you gotta be asian to understand that xD no offense to anyone.
I remember seeing a crab walk around on the floor once, one of the kids picked it up and played with it...but he never put it back.
But there are some things here and there that are cheap. And I like going there because i can go get my asian crackers and chips =P -

well, -i- think this is pretty stinky compared to other viet markets. always a mess on the floor in produce and the parking lot is majorly crowded even if there aren't too many bodies inside the store. almost every time i've been there, someone almost hits my car. eep.
however this is a great place to get spring roll wrappers and fish sauce, not to mention prices of seafood and produce are very reasonable; you just have to dig for a fresher piece. :x -

This store closed and re-opened under Green Farm Market. After reading the other reviews, it's probably a bit better than it was when it was A Chau. Store doesnt seem as messy, but it gets very crowded on weekends. The Fish area can get quite messy and the smell does seem extra fishy at times. Overall, not bad place. Produce is damn right cheap.
