Sprinklers aren't sprinkling. It's over 100 out. And our regular irrigation guy says he can come out in 3 weeks. Well ain't that handy. What to do, what to do?

A Brand New Lawn to the rescue. They fit us in between two other jobs and showed up the next day, diagnosed the problem (honestly, no idea, wires and water and everything's underground, this is the hubs' domain, he can usually fix stuff in this area but apparently this was a particularly tricky prob) and fixed it for a very reasonable price. They have become our new regular irrigation guy. It's been about 6 weeks since and everything's running like a top.

    Go, Brand New Lawn!

Alright, another review for A Brand New Lawn.

During the process we had some issues, but a year later I'm not too worried about it.

They have continued to work with me WAY beyond my initial installation to make sure my lawn is surviving. Over a year later and I'm still talking Mark about fixing issues in my lawn... and I'm over my 1 year warranty.

That's beyond customer service, that's a company that wants to make sure the job was done right.

I don't think you would find that with 99.9% of landscaping companies in town.

I've hired A Brand New Lawn for lawn service (mow, trim, hedge, fertilize) and their staff have done a fantastic job for the last 2 years or so. I stopped mowing my own lawn because of the allergies, so I was looking around for an honest company. They are quick and efficient, and do a much better job than I used to! They always keep their promises of getting the job done, and although I have had a few billing mix-ups in the past, the owner Mark has been happy to work it out with me.

I currently have their yearly plan, where they mow every week in the late spring/summer/early fall months, and tone it down in the winter time. I would recommend their lawn care services to anyone!

Called them to repair a leak in our sprinkler system.  He asked that I email him our address and all the details, as we discussed.  I did this.  Over a week passed without any response.  I sent another email, and left two messages for him.  On the third call, I was able to reach him, and he committed to have a crew come out the next day.

When the crew showed up (according to my wife), they looked awful.  Their appearance was filthy and extremely unprofessional, which made my wife a little nervous to have them in our back yard.

They did actually fix the leak as we asked.  But they left without back-flushing and inspecting the entire system, which I had specifically requested they do.  Upon calling the owner (again), they came back to complete the inspection.  Overall, the quality of service and the level of professionalism was much less than what I expect from service providers.

I called Mark Friday for some guys to come out the next day to do some garden bed cleaning. He was very nice and helpful (which is why I'm giving at least 2 stars) and said he could get some guys out the next day. Those people never showed. I called, emailed, and never got a response other the the first time I tried to call. Unfortunately Mark sounds like a great guy and it seems other people have had good experiences, but I did not.

I had initially hired Brand New Lawn a year and a half ago to help with a landscaping project and to continue with regular lawn maintenance.  During that time, while it was hard to pin down when they were actually going to show up to perform the work - you definitely had to stay on top of things like others have mentioned - in general, if the work was completed it was satisfactory. Even general lawn services are erratic with regard to the day they will actually arrive. Although I was a regular customer, there were often times that add-on jobs were never bid out or scheduled in.  A huge annoyance for a company that sold themselves as being all-service!! Why should I have to find another lanscaper to help me with these things? The last straw came a month ago when I came home to find my full-panel glass back door had been broken out by the lawn crew.

After a solid month of emails & phone calls, NO REMEDY was provided or truly even offered.  If Mark did get back to me, it was much in the spirit of delaying any resolution once he figured out how much the repair would be.  In the end, not only was nothing done to make this situation right, even my frustration was not taken seriously by him.  His final response was asking to keep my services and had a general tone of making light of the $600 repair that he has stuck me with.

Unfortunately, being nice doesn't smooth over every situation and the non-responsive only compounds issues.  BEWARE the risk you are taking if you choose to hire this company.

Meanwhile, I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB and see if that will finally elicit a remedy of any kind.

I hired A Brand New Lawn in May to install a sprinkler system. I'll keep it kind of short and sweet and say, yes, I'd probably hire them again to do any more work based on price. HOWEVER, I'd have to agree with the others who say that it may be too much of a good thing. Meaning, you DEFINETELY have to stay on top of things, because it is very easy to be forgotten about, in spite of the fact that you put down a pretty chunk of change for a deposit. So as long as you know this going in, then it's all good. Mark is obviously very busy, I got voice mail or left messages quite a bit, but he was really good at returning calls and answering all my questions thoroughly. There were a few "misunderstandings" which may have been attributed to just a bad week on his end, but he did make up and compensate for my troubles, (even though I did have to ask for it.) As I type this, I realize that I never signed a contract, just got an estimate on file. I don't know how important that is to you, but again, stay on top of your stuff. I'm happy with my system, it's easy to use and the guy who actually installed it was very professional and courteous.
