We had the pleasure of having Scarlette as the Little Mermaid, Ariel at my daughter's 5th birthday party yesterday afternoon. She was a huge hit with the children, and the moms in attendance! Scarlette was in perfect character for the entire 2 hours she joined us. She made TONS of balloon flowers, hearts, puppies & more for all the children, and she was engaged with all the party guests & the birthday girl the entire time, never once slipping out of character. She told the children stories all about her princess friends, Scuttle, Sebastian, Flounder and her mermaid sisters & her father, King Triton. She had them completely engrossed and asking questions, questions & more questions about her princess life. And she even managed to throw in a perfect little Ariel giggle from time to time! She was professional, courteous & very gracious, and she obliged every request we made for special pictures, songs, changing activities, etc. The little girls, and 2 boys who attended the party were delighted to spend time with her as she chatted, sang, made balloons, and pleasantly painted faces & applied glittery mermaid and pretty tattoos! She even went so far as to park her car away from the park where the party was held, so the children did not see her driving ... she simply "magically" appeared from nowhere. When the time came to say goodbye, my little one was sad and told her she really wanted her to stay. Scarlette sweetly explained that it was time for her to go back to Disneyland so that all the people who came there to see her wouldn't be disappointed! My daughter had an amazing time, and made some great memories yesterday, and we have A Better Party, Nancy & Scarlette to thank for helping make everything so special. Well worth every cent!
P.S. At 9:45 last night, my daughter who'd been asleep for and hour and a half, appeared at my bedroom door, crying. When I asked why, she sobbed and told me she missed Ariel and she wanted her to come play & sing again. Thank you A Better Party!! : ) -

Nancy Gonzales helped me out recently at the Ice Cream Social I planned... I was looking for a clown, balloon artist, and/or face painter to come entertain the kids, and Nancy provided all of the above!
I explained that it was a non-profit, and she gave me a discount... fantastic!
Did I mention that I called her to inquire about her services on a Friday and the event was that Sunday? (Yes, I can be a procrastinator sometimes). Thank goodness for 'A Better Party' though - Nancy came and even brought an assistant, Dafney. They made all of us smile with balloon art creations, face painting, and of course, a clown!
