We can't thank Kimberly enough for all that she did for us. From the first time we met with her, we knew she was the perfect person to work with... and she proved to be everything we thought and so much more. She definitely went above and beyond her job description. We are so happy in our decision to work with her.
In planning our ceremony, Kimberly provided us with many examples and information. Once we put together an idea of the ceremony we wanted, she helped us perfect it. She scheduled regular check-ins throughout the year and was always available by phone and email for any questions or concerns. She also made a point of getting to know me and my husband personally, which made us feel special and at ease. While Kimberly is very professional, she really made us feel as though our wedding was being performed by an old friend.
Kimberly stands out in the work she does. She is organized, detail-oriented, professional, experienced, friendly, and not afraid to take charge when needed to make your ceremony the most special day of your life. Many of our guests came up to us throughout the night and told us how wonderful our officiant was. Some even thought she was our wedding planner because if she saw something she could help with before the ceremony, she jumped right in. We are so grateful.
We strongly recommend Kimberly. She played a huge part in making our wedding day truly the most fun and special day of our lives. We will be passing on her information every chance we get. -

What word best describes Kimberly Thompson......Amazing, Friendly, Professional, Caring, Detailed, Okay....so that's more then one word. There are so many more I can add, but see for yourself. As a Wedding Planner, one of the first things I do after booking with a client is call Kimberly to see if she's available to preform the ceremony. Her words and compassion for the union of marriage is irrefutable. She works diligently with her clients to customize the most heartfelt ceremonies.

I love love love Kimberly. She made our wedding day perfect.
My big sister recommended I use her - Kimberly officiated her ceremony at Carneros the previous year and thought she was great.
Kimberly is incredibly organized - given that there are so many details in a wedding, it's nice to know that she will take care of licensing, vows, coordinating the ceremony,etc. And she also is just super fun - we wanted something extremely simple and non-religious. She was very flexible in putting together a ceremony that was very "us." Basically, she presents a lot of different options to choose from and you can mix and match. We met her in person a month before our ceremony so she could get to know us.
What's really great about Kimberly is that she has done a ridiculous number of ceremonies in wine country that she knows all the ins and outs of layout, structure, etc - so she was actually a wedding coordinator for us in addition to our officiant. She is a logistics freak which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. It unexpectedly poured the day of my ceremony and I was freaking out - but she knew exactly what the plan would be bc she had done so many weddings at our venue Viansa. -

My husband who works at a resort in Calistoga actually met Kimberly before I did and he would always speak of her in highest regard---I have to agree! Over the past couple of years I have played music for numerous weddings that Kimberly has been the officiator. She is very easy to work with, organized, meticulous, articulate. Kimberly really weaves the ceremony and all the elements (music/wedding party cueing) to create a flawless, personalized, and heartfelt ceremony!

My fiance and I were planning our Sonoma wedding from across the country, so we needed an officant that was good at communicating and would give us the relaxed, non-religious ceremony we wanted. Kimberly fit the bill perfectly. She's super fast at replying to questions, and was very helpful in explaining and arranging the marriage license process. Best of all, you can work with all her sample ceremonies to meld the pieces you like into your final ceremony. Overall, it was a very stress free aspect of our wedding day, thanks to Kimberly.

As a fellow wedding vendor, I see lots and lots of wedding professionals and I can truly say that Kimberly is one of the nicest, most genuine, and lovliest people I know. I've photographed a few weddings with Kimberly as the officiant. Without knowing her well, and only sharing just a few simple sentences and organic plans with her in the moments before couples wed, it's very clear she's simply "with it", which makes it splendid for vendors like me. Take the chance and meet her to see for yourself, connect, trust, and (for the sake of photographers like me) make better photos.

Kimberly Thompson was a wonderful officiant and she is VERY VERY organized! Her organization is so great because when it comes to the ceremony, while it is the reason for your special day, it can often be overlooked and we knew that would not happen with Kimberly involved. She and our coordinator worked wonderfully together for our August 2008 wedding and Kimberly had much of the organization of the ceremony figured out and documented for our coordinator.
Kimberly was also very helpful in making suggestions for our ceremony and was professional in incorporating the suggestions we went with and for those we didn't, she recognized it was our day and wanted to make sure it was what we wanted.
She has a vast amount of experience and has worked with many vendors at many venues across wine country. In addition, when I looked back at the references that many venues we reviewed for the day of after our wedding, I noted that she was often listed on this list of recommended officiants.
An additional perk is that Kimberly will meet with you and your fiance when you pick up your license in Napa, ensuring you have all the paperwork set up properly.
Beyond all, Kimberly kept me on my toes! This is usually hard for someone to do because I am usually a step in front of most and she was always a step in front of me when asking for items. This was very helpful as we had originally planned for a friend to marry us but that did not work out so we were late in the game on finalizing an officiant and later on finalizing the ceremony details. We were lucky because of our Thursday wedding date to be able to book Kimberly. If it were not for that it would have been very hard to find one within 6 months of the wedding.
Last but definitely not least, Kimberly helped us locate a coordinator that was also absolutely phenomenal. I don't know how it happened but we ended up having such an amazing day with absolutely wonderful vendors. -

Kimberly is awesome. She is professional and down to earth and reasonably priced. For me and my husband, she was patient when we needed patience, authoritative when we were lacking authority and guidance (we both had had no clue on where to stand, what to do, who normally says what first and when and all the details we both had no idea about). She is professional, kind, respectful and has a great sense of humor- all the ingredients of someone whom I wanted to marry us. She set the pace in the first few instances of my marriage and unlike others, to me, that is worth every penny. I couldn't be happier with her service. I would and have recommended A Beautiful Ceremony.

Five stars plus for Kimberly, one of the greatest people I have ever met! My husband and I made the right decision in choosing Kimberly to officiate over our wedding this summer in Calistoga. We spent a lot of time trying to find the right officiant to preside over our non-denominational and intercultural wedding. I'm Chinese and my husband is Greek so having a ceremony that blended the two cultures together was key. Other officiants we had met with wanted to put a time limit on our ceremony, didn't respect our cultures, or refused to do a rehearsal. We chose Kimberly because not only did she allow us the freedom to create a ceremony that would celebrate us as a couple and our cultures, but she also believed that a rehearsal was important in making our ceremony a success. Kimberly is extremely accessible, so easy to work with, very attentive, so organized, and has a knack for remembering everything down to the minute details. She is serious about her work but at the same time really cares about all of her brides and grooms and it shows through her communication and fun personality. If you're looking to get married, I highly recommend Kimberly. You won't regret it!

Kimberly came highly recommended by the events planner at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. After my first telephone call with her, I knew that she was the perfect person to make our marriage official. For those of you with writer's block, Kimberly provides numerous templates as a starting point for drafting the ceremony. Her editing skills will surely give you an end product that won't leave a dry eye in the crowd. My groom and I are extremely busy, and Kimberly's organizational skills, professionalism, and great sense of humor made planning our ceremony so much fun (and easy)! She is knowledgeable about the licensing process and even sent us all of the materials we needed to fill out to further minimize the work we had to do. Lastly, she has a great sense of humor and despite her very busy schedule, Kimberly manages to make you feel as if you are the only couple she is working with.

As a mixed religion couple, we didn't exactly know how to proceed. Kimberly was recommended to us by the Ritz-Carlton as an officiant for our wedding. She helped us design a ceremony that was personalized and intimate. We loved that she had many examples we could look through so we didn't have to start from scratch but also didn't feel like a cookie-cutter ceremony. She took the time to get to know us and always made us feel like the wedding was very important to her. She understood the logistics of the day, working with the coordinator at the Ritz to make sure everything went off perfectly. The ceremony turned out beautifully and we had many comments from our guests on how lovely it was.

The first time I met Kimberly I knew I was in great hands. I had a small wedding planned in November. My husband and I are of different faiths and we were looking for a nondenominational officiant. I had no idea who to use and so I went on line and used Yelp. I read the reviews of Kimberly and was very impressed. My first conversation with Kimberly was terrific. She put me at immediately at ease and I felt like she just understood me. I felt like I knew her for years. Kimberley is more like a wedding planner. She coordinates everything for you and is extremely organized and detail oriented. My husband and I are very busy and have extremely stressful jobs. Kimberly took care of everything. Unfortunately, we ended up having to cancel our party in November due to health reasons. We decided to elope instead and postpone our ceremony till May. Kimberly organized a special ceremony at a beautiful private estate in Napa for just me and my husband and my best friend. Despite the pouring rain, it was incredibly romantic. She made us feel completely comfortable. She is adorable, professional and extremely warm and friendly. We then arranged for her to conduct our ceremony at Madrona Manor in May. Despite only having a short ceremony and a rather small affair, Kimberly kept in touch regularly and continued to remind us gently about details we needed to provide her. She gives you many options for various types of ceremonies. Once again in May, she was incredible. Although I was nervous before my wedding, I felt relaxed the minute she showed up. She knows just what the bride and groom need and is completely professional. I recommend her wholeheartedly and feel lucky that I was able to find her.
