I took my BMW here several times.
Once, while parked near the School of Engineering at that big, famous university down the way, a professor backed into my my car and drove away. Luckily for me, a witness put a note on my car and told me who did it and the necessary car details. Even with the insurance company involved, dealing with ABC was so easy, and they did a flawless job.
Another time, I thought I'd take the paint that the dealer gave me, Hey! free of charge!, and do a teeny touch up. FML! It came out horribly. I took it to ABC and they corrected my creative interpretation of "touch up." I got my car back sooner than promised and for less than estimated.
Another time, we were in San Francisco, in the RIGHT TURN lane, signaling to TURN RIGHT, and a van cut us off, deciding to turn right, too! It was minor, but it needed to be fixed. We brought it back to ABC and got it back sooner than promised.
Another time, at band camp...just kidding.
But seriously, another time, after parking in the city, we noticed a ding and took it to ABC to work on. Again, great service, ahead of schedule, and less than the original quote.
I can't promise you that your final bill will be less; I can only tell you that Jim and ABC are the absolute best to go to for body work. -

Ditto what all the other Yelpers said.
Jim is all about customer service. He fixed my bumper with a fast turnaround time and a reasonable price. He even dropped me off at my place (I live somewhat close by) and made my bumper look shiny and new.
He is friendly, polite and cares about his customers. I highly recommend Jim for any body work for your car. -

Jim has been taking care our family member's cars for at least a decade or more. He is honest and most helpful and most genuine person I know. I take my car to his shop, I know it's in good hand and he tries to find ways to save you money. I have not had one bad experience EVER and will always go back there. ABC Body Shop is simply the best in town!

Working with Jim seems like asking your dad to look under the hood with you. Being a car illiterate person, I needed some help installing a front license plate. Jim took care of it with ease and since the task was so simple, he didn't charge me and wished me a Merry Christmas. He even stayed open a few minutes later when he as planning to close early for the holidays. His kindness will ensure that I will see Jim for bigger jobs and refer anyone that I know.

Every time I take my car to ABC I know that when I pick it up it's going to look perfect! The owner Jim is such a nice guy. Being a women sometimes you feel like body shops/mechanics try to take advantage of you but Jim treats me like one of his kids. All of the workers are very polite and they get my car fixed fast which is important when you're having to pay for a rental b/c your cars in the shop. I really LOVE ABC Auto Body!! They are the best at what they do!!!!!

Jim is the man!
Took my car there for a dent and repaint.
Jim fit me into his busy schedule and had me out of there in a couple of days. Although I would have preferred to have my car back sooner, oh well, you can't rush perfection.
Also, when I went to pick my car up, I found out that the grand total was lower than the estimate he had given me and the car looked awesome and clean.
If you need any body repair/work hit up Jim. He'll do excellent work for an excellent price. -

I've been bringing my car to ABC Body Shop for many years, both for repairs that insurance was paying for and repairs that I paid for myself. I cannot say enough good things about the integrity and care of the owner, as well as the quality of the work. If I ever had a complaint any concerns afterward, they were taken of quickly and without a bit of attitude. Jim has driven me home after I dropped my car off and picked me up when it's ready! Caring service like that is hard to beat. Plus, my 10-year old car looks brand new because of his work! His quotes are always reasonable--it's rare to visit any type of business dealing with cars and walking away feeling like you've been treated right and not ripped off. Kudos to Jim and ABC Auto Body!

Jim has been doing our paint and body work for about 20 years. He can match paint like nobody else also. Great work , unbelievable prices and just a nice guy.
Everyone that I send to him, rave about him ( seriously they do) and he's just a great guy to work with.

I have been going to ABC Auto Body in San Mateo since 1988. Jim Tresser, the owner, is an awesome guy that provides an excellent product for a very reasonable price. I cant say enough about this shop. They have worked on seven of my cars over the years..the most recently being work on my BMW 335i. Jim has always beat the price quote of other body shops by hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend Jim and his shop for any car make or model. Very nice work at very affordable rates. He definitely gets FIVE STARS in my book. No, I am not connected in any way with this shop and I didnt get any freebies for posting this review of the company.

These guys under promised and over delivered. They finished ahead of schedule and under budget. Jim is straight forward and an all round hard worker. They most recently did some body work on My Jaguar S type R, and It looks factory perfect.
