cant believe they closed this one too. used to go to it for floats and burgers, it was the last stand alone one in the entire bay area. Now I will have to go to the A&W combo (with a KFC) on bascom ave., near camden, though it is still not the same as the older a&w, such as the sunnyvale or campbell ones.
This is now K & L America's Favorite Diner. Guess what it has just about the same exact menu except now it's been painted yellow and red! A&W just tried to poorly go incognito
Drove by the other day and saw that they're closed -- soon to reopen as some other 2-initialed diner. (I hope they still have floats.)
Root Beer floats? Check. Chili dogs? No check. Nasty. Damn.
