We just moved to San Diego and bought a house that had a lot of pet stains and general wear and tear from kids running around on the carpet. The carpet was in nasty shape when we first moved in. I called Andy right away and they really felt our pain, so much so that they scheduled an appointment ASAP. We had Andy clean one section of our house and then we had him come back several days later to clean the other remaining parts of our house that were not done the first time. He did such a good job that the carpet looked several years younger and clean enough that I now fell comfortable walking around it in my bare feet.
We felt that Andy and his wife were very accommodating with our circumstances while first moving into the new house. We usually have our carpets cleaned several times a year and we will use A&M again. The prices were also very competitive, plus Andy is super friendly!

Andy came by to clean the carpet in the stairs and hallway at my house (the carpet there hadn't been cleaned in years and was noticeably more dirty than the carpet in the rooms) and he did an excellent job, finishing the job rather quickly and charging a more than fair price. I highly recommend A&M if you're looking to get professional carpet cleaning done at your place.

Andy cleaned and repaired the carpets in my rented house about a month ago, in preparation for us moving out. He did a fantastic job! We had quite a bit of damage at the seams of the carpet due to our cats scratching, and Andy was able to patch them up for a reasonable price with great results. This is a family business, Andy does all the work himself, with his lovely wife taking care of the scheduling, etc. Just a pleasure to work with them both!

Andy has been cleaning our carpet for years. Last month our son dropped a green marker on the carpet and rolled it around. We never thought it would come out. Andy had it out quickly and you can't even tell it was ever there. He charged us less for the stain removal AND cleaning the carpet in the whole house than anyone else would have charged for just the stain.
Great work, low price and honest service. You just can't beat it. -

Wish there were more companies like this.
A&M were recommended to us by a designer friend and the owner of a local carpet wholesaler who supplied our carpet. Andy was on time, on budget and very professional. We are very pleased with the results - our carpet and furniture look great. -

Family owned business that has a service with a smile. Andy, the owner cleaned our upholstery and did an excellent job. They were able to get out all of the food stains in our couch, which was very pleasing. I will defiantly use them again. -

Andy was personable and easy to work with. He just cleaned our carpets last weekend, and we're quite pleased with the outcome. There was a marked difference between the pre- and post-cleaned carpet. We have a 7 month old baby who plays on the floor a lot so it's nice to know that A&M uses nontoxic treatments. A&M was very prompt at replying to us. My husband left a message inquiring about an estimate, and his call was returned within an hour. Also, when Andy said he would arrive between 12:30-1:30pm, he was here at 12:30 even though we were his 3rd appointment that day. It was also nice that he was able to come by on a Saturday.

Needed the carpet cleaned for the Holidays and gave A&M a try. Andy arrived on time and quickly assessed the carpet situation. A true Pro! Found out that the cost was much less than was originally estimated. The results were great, the wife is happy. What more could you ask for? I was so impressed with the job that I asked to add a lounge chair. Be warned though, appointment necessary prior so he couldn't add the chair. A missed opportunity. Otherwise totally professional, reasonably priced and fabulous cleaning.

My place doesn't stink of puppy pee anymore!
I found these folks by doing a Google search of carpet cleaners by zip code (no Yelp at work). It's a husband and wife team, she does the books, he cleans the carpets. The wife (sorry, don't remember your name!) did her best to get me in quickly as it was sort of an emergency; by emergency I mean I couldn't stand it anymore. It was disgusting.
Andy showed up that Friday at 7:45 a.m. with the truck mounted steam cleaner on Friday morning, moved furniture himself, and put up with my dog following him around. A half hour later my carpets were clean, all my furniture on little styrofoam squares and we were out of the house, off to work. Andy even offered a cost effective, honest solution to my dog's occasional angry pee in the house.
We came back a few hours later to a beautifully clean and stink free house, and for a great price. We'll be calling A&M again as soon as we need to and of course we'll tell our friends and fellow Yelpers!Listed in: In Da Hood

I just saw a recent review of this company and I have to give a shout for them!! Great company and Andy backs up his cleaning and wants to make it perfect and make you happy.
About 3-4 years ago, I got laminate floors which I clean myself so no longer need carpet cleaning but if you want your carpets done right, I would suggest giving them a call. -

Although we had a scheduling snafu, I give A&M Carpet Cleaning 5 stars. We have a dog, a cat, and host many pool parties throughout the year, so our carpet was a mess. Andy was very courteous and professional and got our very dirty beige carpet looking practically new! He spent a lot of time going over the high-traffic and heavily soiled areas and all of the spots are gone. He also offers a 30-day warranty, which you don't find very often. I will definitely use A&M Carpet Cleaning again and recommend that you do too!

I recently had A&M Carpet Cleaning come to my house and clean all the carpets and rugs. They were completely dirty with stains from years of foot traffic and kids. I have been using A & M Carpet Cleaning for over 15 years, and would never use anyone else. I've recommended Andy to friends and family, and no one has ever had a complaint. Christine, who sets appointments, is always friendly and helpful, and follows up with a phone call to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. Andy is always on time, does a very thorough job, and has given excellent advice about dealing with pet odor and stain issues.
Before discovering A & M, I had some very bad experiences with other carpet cleaning companies that charged exorbitant amounts. Now that I've had the pleasure of working with Christine and Andy, I know that the work will be done well and at a fair and reasonable price. -

I've been using Andy for over 20 years to clean my carpets and upholstery. He's done my house, my cars and my travel trailer. I've even had him come to do the carpets at work and reinstall carpet I'd pulled up to do a room remodel. *NEVER* had an issue and always excellent results. Andy is about as good as they come and his work is top-notch. I don't even consider anyone else. I **HIGHLY** recommend A&M for your carpet and upholstery cleaning needs.

Andy has been cleaning my carpets for almost 10 years and we're always so happy to see him leave our house. Because the carpets look new again! Andy always shows up when he promises and does a great job. He moves the furniture and works miracles on the spots left from accidental spills or the dogs. The last few years he reminds us that cheap, home builder carpet wasn't meant to last as long as were keeping it. But he keeps it presentable while we save for new carpet.
