I called around to approximately 10 different landscape companies for monthly yard maintenance and chose A&J after receiving a free quote and learning that a co-worker of mine had also used this company.
We've been using this company since July and they have been excellent. If you have any sort of problems, questions, or special requests, you give them a call and BAM, it's taken care of on the next visit.
I've recommended A&J to another co-worker of mine and he started using them as well. Everyone is impressed that our monthly maintenance crew actually speak English. Totally not trying to be racist, but when you want specific things done correctly and only speak one language, it's frustrating to communicate with the majority of landscaping companies. Exactly why we fired the last guy. Oooops.
I like the fact that the monthly invoices are sent via email and I can pay online through the A&J website. So easy! -

A & J Landscaping made it so easy to get our yard cleaned up, it was a BIG job but Aaron and his team were so fast they made it look effortless!! The price is great, especially compared to the other quote which was about 4X more expensive for a first time clean up. We are so thrilled to have found a company that is easy to communicate with, is licensed, insured, and is this amazing at what they do! My lawn looks gorgeous!!!

We often don't do things the standard way, so of course, renovating our backyard space was a bit unconventional. Long story short, I needed someone who could install the irrigation, six station timer, and 1800 square feet of sod/grass on a particular timeline to work around other contractors doing other things. Jason and A&J didn't blink or give me a hard time or try to tell me how much harder it would be like many others who sized up the request. They asked the right questions, gave me their thoughts, and then bid the job at the right price. They then executed the work in timely yet flexible manner and continued to check back with me as the other parts of the yardwork were being completed. A month later when I called with a concern about one spot on the yard, he was out the next day to assess and remedy the problem, no questions and no extra charge. Six months later, the backyard looks fantastic. I would (and will) call A&J for any landscaping needs.

I called A&J based on Yelp reviews. Called the office & Jason returned my call in less than an hour. Came by the next day, checked out my yard & discussed options based on what I wanted. He also had some great ideas. Work was done in a reasonable amt. of time & I'm very happy.

Of course these guys get 5 stars! Hard-working, family owned, and stayed in business through some very tough economical times when many of their competitors were failing...
These guys know what they're doing and most importantly, aim to please the customer. They listen, make recommendations when appropriate, and do a fantastic job! What more could you ask for? -

Last year I bought my first home. The previous owner had landscapers but these guys would take days sometimes weeks to return my calls. When I hired a and j landscaping I didn't realize that I would get the such personal, professional and friendly service! They are very timely and have saved me over $35 a month on my water bill with the new timer and valves they installed. Can't thank you enough guys.

I have used & refer ed Jason for many years. he & his crew do great work at very reasonable prices. My clients have been very pleased with them 7 the clean up. I like the fact they are also Family Owned & Operated. Just call Jason for a Free Estimate & see for yourselves. You won't be disappointed.

I hired Jason and Aaron to do some landscaping in our backyard. We have quite a large backyard and found that we had neither the time nor the manpower to put our backyard into a place we could enjoy. I originally called Jason for inquiries regarding the refinishing of our patio, and while his company didn't work on that particular project, he made a number of other recommendations while at the house regarding other projects. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and honesty regarding other projects and that we as homeowners could do them on our own.
After realizing that we could get our backyard landscaped for the price that we were getting quotes for refinishing the patio, I decided to call Jason back to give a quote on landscaping. He was prompt, courteous, and very competitive with his pricing.
We hired Jason and his crew, and within a week of us sending in the paperwork and deposit, they had scheduled two half days to complete the work. One of the half days was more time-consuming and grueling work and we thought it was fine to take two half-days, especially since it gave his crew some rest after their first morning.
The crew was polite and gave additional hints/pointers on maintaining our yard, getting rid of gophers, etc.
The jobs were completed quickly, professionally, and look wonderful. I would definitely recommend A&J Landscaping for any project. And if and when we move to another home that needs landscaping work, I will definitely be calling Jason again. -

Our Concord house developed a large sinkhole in the backyard on a Monday after a series of rainstorms. Knowing how hazardous this situation was, I needed an emergency repair asap. On Tuesday morning I contacted A&J Landscaping hoping that I will not get voicemail, to my surprise their main phone number automatically connected me to Jason's mobile phone who promptly came to the house before Noon to access the work and provided a reasonable estimate. His crew came out the next morning, Wednesday and refilled and compacted the sinkhole. Great service.
