    I'm definitely putting this business card in my contacts for future reference.

    I thought I had destroyed my front loader washer when I got a sleeve caught in the door and the load wadded into a ball and then the machine refused to spin.  Turns out to be an easy fix.  Something inside just broke away and needed to be put back.

    He didn't try to sell me all kinds of useless parts.  Just fixed the machine and even swept out behind the machine for me.  It was fast and efficient and I couldn't be happier.

    My dishwasher had problems which were covered under a recall. A&B technician showed up on time for both appointments, they have accommodated my appointment schedule changes, the technician was very friendly and professional, knowledgeable. I would recommend their services to any one.

    Always fixed my Bosch dishwasher and had some parts in his car.

    My dishwasher was making a whining noise. They came out on time the next day and made the repair. They were fair in their pricing and honest about their work. I highly recommend them!

    do not call this company, its a franchise and redwood city area is not good they come out charge you then they cant find part you need. even though they have substitutions they dont bother with that i fell for it not only a refrig but then i called them for a stove same thing they they charge for a service call and thats it. do not use them call someome else or get it new you will save money in the long run

    I was referred to A&B Appliance due to my first vendor decided he didn't want to work on my fridge after I had scheduled an appt a week prior.

    Anyway, I had a couple concerns.  First were the reviews here on yelp were not that great.  Second was that since my refrigerator was "rare" there were a few places recommended that don't work on it.  So I went ahead with A&B.

    So the problem I had was that my Fisher-Paykel refrigerator wasn't defrosting.  The refer would alarm and tell me the last 2 defrost cycles wouldn't complete.  The coil in the freezer would block-up with ice and while the freezer would maintain frozen items the airflow was blocked so that the refrigerator section would be almost room temperature.

    When I got referrered to A&B I mentioned the problems, error codes, etc. and that if they felt it necessary to order parts ahead of time that would be ok with me.  We set an appt but she was going to check.  Fortunately the appt was only 2 days later and he showed up at the very beginning of his service window, which never happens. But when he showed up and I explained the problem he basically looked up the model number and found out what parts he needed to order.  It was a quick visit but either way I was going to pay for a service call.  He said they'd call when the parts would come in.  This was on a Friday.  They called on Monday and said the parts were in, which was great.  I told him that I would defrost the freezer and make sure it was accessible to save a little of his time when he got there.

    Ray showed up and had to replace the main control unit and a sensor.  It took him some time to replace the items and test the defrost coils to make sure they were normal.  It took about an hour to do it all but he cut me a small break on the labor.

    The fridge seems to be working well now with no alarms and both compartments at a good temp.  No more shopping day-to-day. :)

    All-in-all I think they did a good job and were competent on a fridge that is a little less than common out there.  They showed up on the early side of the time window and it didn't take long for them to get parts and complete the order.

    It cost a total of $300 for parts and labor which is about the most i was hoping to have to spend.  I hope it lasts a while now.  

    I know the tendency on Yelp is to post opinions when you don't like the service so i'm trying to at least provide a favorable data point for future potential customers.

    A&B fixed a part of my dishwasher and broke two other parts of it. They caused 250 dollars of damage and lied about the cause of the problems. I do not reccomend them!!!!

    A & B have always been there when we need them.  They are on time and very personable & easy to work with.  We have had work on our washer, microwave and stovetop.   They know their stuff.   We are now going to rent out our home and I've advised all that if anything breaks, call A & B.

    I also had a horrific experience with this company; very BAD. I was referred to them by Fisher& Paykel for my washer repair. When I scheduled an appointment with them, the repair guy (Ray) showed up with his 6-7 year old son! I was not happy about that, since I was not expecting to have a child that I do not know, run through my house, maybe fall or get hurt and sue me!

    During the repair call (only a few minutes), he charged the full service call and then said he does not have parts and has to come back (even thought I had explained to them over the phone and ahead of time what was wrong and asked them to have the parts needed). He claimed he had to come back with parts, which means they would charge more.

    They are not professional and only want to run the cost high for you. While, the manufacturer was considering to cover the parts that needed to be replaced, they decided they did not want to come back and install the parts. The owner (a woman that I do not know her name) was very rude on the phone and did not want to listen. I guess now that they had charge the service call and only have to come back to install the parts, it was not worth it for them to come back and finish the job.

    They are only interested to charge high initial service calls ($90 just to stop by)! Now, I have to pay again someone else for a sevice call plus the labor cost to get the job finished.

    I would not recommend them and I am going to file a complain with BBB and report the unethical bahavior.

    I have used A & B appliance several times, and they have always done a wonderful job.  They are honest, fair, and they get the job done right.  They also do an excellent job in communication, including sending email confirmation for appointments and calling ahead to let you know they are on their way.

    I have never written anything on Yelp but my experience was so awful with A & B repair that I wanted to share.  I had an awful experience with their service. My refrigerator wasn't work properly.First they came an hour early than they said they would (not a bad thing right) Well I wasn't expecting them early so i wasn't home.  When I called she blamed me.  Rescheduled for the following wednesday.  Came didn't have the part, said it would be in friday which was great because I had family coming in that weekend.  Called friday when I didn't hear from them and part wouldn't be in until Tuesday.  When he came Tuesday he YELLED at my mom that he told her to defrost the freezer. It was the first time he had seen her and I was the one he originally spoke with and he never told me that.  Two weeks later my refrigerator was fixed but I felt they were a rude and unprofessional.  I hope other Morgan Hillians have better luck. There aren't many choices in this small town but from now on I will look else where for service.

    I've used this repair service a few times over the past 2 years.  I have very high-end appliances such as Gaggenau; La Cornue; Bosch.  They've been very professional and responsive.  I'd recommend them to anyone - and have.
