I just used them this week for the first time when I ordered a flower arrangement for my boss. The owner is the nicest woman ever and her enthusiasm for her work is wonderful. I told her my budget and she made a beautiful arrangement for me that was ready less than 24 hours later. My boss loved it. I only wish I had a need for more flowers so I could give her more business!
As for people complaining about pricing-- when it comes to flowers you get what you pay for and cheap definitely shows. I felt like A & A gave me great quality for a reasonable price. -

Let me preface this review by saying two things: 1) I never went with this florist so I don't actually know how their assembled flowers look like 2) I was a budget bride with a tight flower budget.
I met with A&A Floral Arts after e-mailing them what I was looking for, how much I was willing to spending and making sure they can work with my budget. We sat and talked and I had a great initial meeting with them. They said they would create a proposal which would cost $50 to view and then I can decide if I want to work with them. If I do, the money goes toward the flowers and if I don't my money was lost.
However, when I came back their proposal was way beyond what I wanted to spend. I told them that I just couldn't afford it. Instead of kindly saying that they could not work with my budget they instead said:
1) We can do it at your budget but we'll have to use carnations which you don'tlike and you'll hate your wedding.
2) After telling her I'm doing my own centerpieces, how is the rest of your wedding planning going because it sounds like you're just throwing stuff together.

I was in shock by how much they insulted me! I just couldn't believe it. They were not my wedding florist (of course). I'm sure they will be able to do a beautiful job for someone with a higher budget but for all you budget brides out there, beware! -

Great little shop. This is my first time. The owner was very friendly and stopped what she was doing to prepare an anniversary bouquet for my wife while I ate lunch next door at Spoon! It was beautiful and with very fresh flowers. I will be back! Some say expensive...I say good, fresh flowers are not cheap anywhere!

Absolutely AMAZING place! I just called on the Friday afternoon before Valentine's Day and asked if I could get a bouquet delivered before 5 pm --- AND, the answer - OF COURSE! WOW. Donna, who took my order, was so sweet and made suggestions to make it extra special.

I love having a flower shop right on my street and I have to admit that I don't quite visit here enough and take full advantage. I've been here on a few occasions to pick up flowers to fill our empty vases at home and have left very happy each time.
The owner is extremely sweet and helpful and you can tell that she absolutely LOVES what she does for a living and her enthusiasm is contagious. She asks what kind of flowers you are looking for, and provides you with suggestions as well as with the price per bundle of flowers so your informal flowers in the vase don't end up breaking the bank.
There is a decent selection of fresh flowers (although it wouldn't hurt to add a few more for variety - especially since I do not really care for roses). I also liked that she takes the time to explain how to care for the arrangements to make them last longer which I certainly appreciate.
This place also has a large selection of house plants, plant accessories and they obviously do larger arrangements for weddings, etc. I also like that she advertises flower specials on a board outside so you know what flowers are on sale for that particular day. A & A Floral Arts is definitely an asset to the neighborhood and I need to stop by here more often. -

I absolutely love this flower shop. On three occasions now, I have come in to buy flowers for my wife. I let them know what I had to spend and they put together the most beautiful bouquets whether it was $10, $20 or more. They're kind, thoughtful and have a wonderful selection. And they didn't give me a hard time when I didn't have a lot of money to spend!
Another thing: The flowers have looked great for at least two weeks each time. This is my florist from now on.
Let them build something for you based on the season. You'll be glad you did. -

Took me a while to get around to this... but it's worth it.
I needed to find a local flower shop the night before Valentines day, so of course I turned to Yelp. A&A was not only nearby, but had great reviews.
I don't buy flowers too often, and I don't really know much about flowers, so I was relying on the folks at A&A to help me out. They were not just helpful, but also considerate of my budget and tastes.
They were friendly, had great suggestions and treated me with respect. You can bet I'll be back! -

Dragiza (AKA Donna-- I could have spelled her name incorrectly!) & Jule: These ladies are awesome.
My wedding flowers turned out beautifully & they worked very hard to make sure I had exactly what I wanted.
Highly recommended - They will work within a very reasonable budget, and really made an exceptional contribution to my wedding.

I just found my new favorite florist! Every purchase my husband has brought home from here has been beyond gorgeous and absolutely perfect. He always mentions how pleasant and helpful the owner is and he passed along what she had told him: anytime you want anything special, just call me and let me know.
My two favorite arrangements have been the holiday bouquet he bought for our Christmas dinner table and the purple orchids with two birds-of-paradise he bought last week. Both are stunning!
All the flowers he's purchased have been high-quality and last much longer than expected. This is a great shop. -

This shop did our wedding flowers and they were AMAZING! She did a wonderful job and was very flexible and cognoscente of my price range. The flowers lasted for weeks after the wedding and were exactly what we wanted. I will get flowers from here in the future.

Went in here to get two bouquets: one for a friend's birthday and another for my wife. Dragica was extremely helpful and courteous. She has very good flowers for extremely reasonable prices. The shop was very nice.
My only wish was that the selection of fresh flowers was a bit larger.
Overall, a good find that I would definitely recommend. I WILL be returning next time I need flowers. :) -

after the initial shock of "flowers for a man?" the shop owner was so helpful - advised on daisies instead of roses, added some filler that really complimented the blossom color, answered some questions on orchids for my friend and sent us both very happily on our way. (Yes, the guy liked 'em.)

We were looking for some flowers for a friend's bday dinner, and we found A & A on Yelp. Could not be more pleased with the service, the beautiful flowers, and the lovely presentation (greens, ribbon, etc.). I love to use local businesses, and this one makes me glad I do. Skip the Jewel and head to A & A.
