Not a good experience at all...However this review can be changed based on what I was promised over the phone after the cab never showed up.
I had an 11:35PM flight arrival and had a confirmation from ABC that they will come and pick me up at the airport.
On the day of pick-up
1. First call was made before I boarded the flight to make sure they are coming to pick us up. Confirmed
2. As soon as I landed, gave them a call and they asked to give another call after I pick up my baggage.
3. Picked up my baggage, gave them a call again, asked me to wait, the cab is just outside the airport
4. After waiting 10 minutes, gave them a call again...."Sorry Sir, Engine Breakdown'. Wait...What, You were just outside the airport and you had an engine breakdown. You really want me to believe that.
I was of-course not happy. I call ABC because they charge me 30 bucks + tip. Now I have to take a cab which be around 55 + tip.
The guy on the phone PROMISES: Next time I will give you a trip to the airport for free for the inconvenience.
Lets see if that happens. Next time I need the cab, I will call them up and remind. if he sticks to his promise, I will change the rating. -

I made the reservation for my folks (they are from another country) going to SeatTac airport. My parents are thoroughly impressed with the service! The driver came on time and drove my folks to the airport on time. The rate is super reasonable (and he was given a good tip). When my parents got to the airport, they didn't realize that the baggage cart would cost $4 and the driver shelled out for my parents. Once my parents got together the only cash they had and tried to pay the driver back, the driver didn't take it. As visitors from another country, they felt really respected and well treated! They told me to write A-ABC transportation a good review so many more people can use their service.

What a great reliable company. After seeing mostly favorable reviews online I called them and booked a pick up at the Seattle airport for 4 adults with 2 pieces of checked luggage and 6 carry ons. They put us all in one cab and only charged us $30 to take us to our hotel by the space needle. The driver was friendly, and was very talkative and informative as he took us to our hotel.
I called the company when the plane landed and again when we had our luggage. The taxi arrived about 10 minutes after our second call but we had arrived early so that really wasn't their fault. They were planning on us arriving later.
we will definitely use them again the next time we're in SEattle. -

They didn't show up to get me for an airport trip at 5am in the morning. When I called, they said he was "almost there." Waited some more, called back - made them call the driver. This time they found out he was 'stuck on the freeway'.
Which is over 15 minutes from my house and it's 5am and the traffic cams showed clear traffic. The dispatch guy was super-nice when he took my reservation initially but was somewhat hysterical when I complained about needing to get to the airport ASAP - saying 'you should have planned more time!" over and over. Well, no offense guy, but had your driver been on time I would have been at the airport with nearly 2 hrs to spare before a domestic flight, so I was a little miffed at him trying to blame me.
I woke up my long-suffering husband and he drove me, thank goodness. But if you don't have a backup, I'd be leery of using this service. At the least, keep the nearest cab company on speed dial! -

I've used these guys a few times for airport transport, but my most recent trip warranted a review.
As usual the owner/operator was pleasant on the phone, quoted me a reasonable amount, and told me the driver would be at my home promptly.
Yes, the driver--Abdul-- arrived in a clean car, spot on time. I was happy to hear NPR playing in the background. Abdul is a pleasant, intelligent man.
Upon arrival at Sea-Tac, I mentioned the amount I thought was quoted to me on the phone. He said, "I don't think that's right- let me call the owner." He did and told me the fee was actually quite a bit less...
Integrity in a cab company? Yes.
Abdul received a sizable tip, and next time I'll ask for him by name.

it was such a one-sided relationship. -

I am baffled by my experience compared with the plethora of glowing reviews. A change in transportation plans left me scrambling to find a taxi for a flight the next morning. The gentleman (and I use the term loosely here) who picked up the phone was rude and while not exactly unprofessional, was not professional either. I was, to my bewilderment and surprise, informed that he could not meet my reservation request. He gave no explanation whatsoever, although he *did* apologize (unapologetically). I won't be giving them a second chance.

Best. Deal. Ever.
Wife called the morning of our flight and arranged for the driver to pick us up at our home. the flight was a red eye and we were picked up at 4 a.m. The driver was very friendly, let alone the hour and what you might expect due to that. Driving was great, and friendly conversation was superb. For the price you can't complain even if they weren't nice! We used them to get back home upon our return and had the same great experience for the same great low price. You'd be a fool not to use these guys. -

I'm super impressed with A-ABC transportation. I called on Wednesday around 11pm for a Thursday 715am pick up to the airport. The owner himself picked up the call to schedule me in and quoted a rate of $35 from the University area. The driver Noel, called me at 710am letting me know that he has arrived and will waiting for me. He was not only professional, but a very pleasant individual.
We will definitely be using this company again. -

I can't believe I forgot to write up a review for this because I used A-ABC to catch a super early flight in December and they were awesome. My beef with cabs is that whoever answers the phone is often super rude. Not A-ABC, they are super super super nice, clear, and attentive.
They showed up 5 min early and told me that they didn't want me to wait outside in the cold and they'd call me when they arrive at my door. WOW. The car was nice and clean and the driver super friendly.
When I came back from my trip I called them the day of the flight home and they took note and told me to call them from SeaTac once I had my luggage and they'd be there in 10 min or less. Again, they seemed really concerned about my being outside and told me to wait indoors and give them the door number at the departures pick-up.
They called as soon as they arrived (in 10 min, no joke), we popped outside and off we went.
$30 flat rate. Much cheaper than a cab and sooooooo much better in terms of customer service. Thanks Yelpers for recommending them, it made my trip so much less stressful. -

I've used this company twice- each time I had them pick me up at 5am for my 7am flight. Also, on each occasion they were 5 minutes early, very nice, and the car was clean and smelled good. At $35 from Ballard, who can ask for more?

I gave A-ABC a try based on the strength of the reviews here and can confirm all the goodness everyone else already mentioned.
I called the morning of my flight and the guy I spoke to on the phone told me no problem. Just give him a call back when I've landed at Sea-Tac and they'd meet me curbside to take me to downtown Seattle. I let them know what door number at baggage claim I was at and got a call from the driver shortly thereafter.
The towncar was clean and the driver was friendly and safe. Definitely no reason to deal with cabs with A-ABC on the case. I'll be seeing you guys again next time I'm in town. -

Okay, let me start by saying that I am really distrustful of anybody who gives a cab company 5 stars. That said, WOW! They completely deserve all 5 stars.
- Pick-up is prompt - they were 5 minutes early for a 5am pick-up
- Drivers and phone attendants are wonderful, nice, funny people, who really know their way around Seattle
- Pick-up from the airport is fast - it took about 5 minutes after we got outside
- Inexpensive for the service: $30 flat fee (from Sea-Tac to West Seattle, and a cab would usually be $50+)
- Business-friendly - they always remind you to get a receipt and they help with bulky luggage
I highly recommend it, and will be using these guys for all kinds of travel in the future! -

The trip to the airport was good but the ride was home from the airport was not so good. The driver was late and the car was not a towncar instead an old used cab that was retired but he brought it back as a car. The driver was a terrible driver, driving too fast and was very impatient.
Not sure if I am going to give them another try. I travel almost every week and don't want to be waiting around for a car and risk getting in an accident. Very disappointed with the ride home. -

My wife and I have used A-ABC many times for work and pleasure. They are always on time and very pleasant. We have referred many friends and they have all switched to A-ABC. They charge a flat fee to the airport no matter how many passengers you have. This is a huge savings. The cars are late model Lincoln Town Cars - super comfy. We've always enjoyed the drivers and had many an interesting conversation on our drive. Best transportation service in the area!

I love A-ABC and I didn't even ride with them! My friend was in town visiting and had a 6am flight Monday morning. Being the good friend that I was, I decided to offer him a comfortable taxi ride at 4am instead of driving him myself.
We called A-ABC the night before and made a reservation for 4am. The driver called and was SO PROMPT! Unlike all the other crappy taxi services around town, A-ABC actually has customer service and is on time! Which is what you want for a 6am flight.
I'll be using them again. -

The story: my wife and I from North Seattle to SeaTac then back again three weeks later.
The good: on time; car was nice, comfortable, spacious; it was a 10-15 year old town car, but that's what I expected from descriptions.
The bad: same driver both to the airport and back three weeks later and he talked _the_whole_time_. One of these chatty cabby types who's got the whole world figured out. I indulged him on the way to the airport but on the way back, I was on European time, totally jet lagged, so basically just nodded but that didn't slow him down. (Perhaps I was too polite to ask him to shut it.) Dropped off at home and he was a little pushy about a tip, too.
Overall: From the other reviews here, it seems my experience wasn't typical. On the whole, my impression is: it's a little cheaper than a cab ride, and it's a little better than a cab ride. The key phrase in both parts is "a little." This is a cab company, not a car service, and one gets what one pays for. Lesson learned; next time I'll spring for the real deal. -

What other cabby company do you know of that averages 5 stars?! This is a no-brainer kids. One of my favorite yelpers, Emily R., prompted me to try A-ABC. She totally nailed them.
TO RECAP:
- Really fair price ($30 airport flat rate) minus the vague 45 minute window of opportunity for them to pick you up whenever they feel like. Plus you get your own town car; no riding with strangers in a cramped van. I always wonder if one of those 'travelers' is faking their trip and breaking into my house later upon confirming that I'm out of town. Or maybe I am just a creep for plotting clever ways to con others.
-Nicest operator in the WORLD. I got "Thank you Hayley, you are wonderful" when I booked my shuttle to the airport and "Welcome home your cab is on its way to you" after I landed.
-Both of my drivers were total peaches! Excruciatingly friendly and genuine. You can tell customer service is A-ABC's TOP priority. It was like getting a ride to/from the airport from my grandpa; I seriously had to refrain from hugging the drivers. I even used a credit card because I ran out of time to get cash for my driver and he didn't give me the evil stare I have gotten from other cabbies in the past.

To reiterate what everyone else has said already, this is a fabulous company!
I called and reserved my car a week in advance. The person taking my reservation was friendly and didn't rush all of my crazy questions. They are cash-based, I like that.
On the morning of our trip we were expecting to be picked up at 4:30 AM. Our car was there EXACTLY on time. He knocked, took all of our bags and loaded the car, he even held the doors for both of us to sleepily get in. Our car was a late 90's model town car with an immaculate clean interior and plenty of leg room for my 6'5" domestic partner!
Our driver was fabulous and amiable. We talked about our snails for the whole ride. He even stopped at an ATM so that I could get him his money before we got to the airport.
$35, no stress transportation, 25 minute ride to Sea-Tac... how much better could it get really? I highly recommend this company to ANYONE going to the airport as their number one choice. I'll never go another way again. -

It is common knowledge that I detest driving, particularly airport driving. Unfortunately, my sweet and wonderful boyfriend travels frequently on business, and I feel it is my duty as a loving girlfriend to haul him back and forth. However, for my own business trip [paid for by my client], I decided to treat myself to the wonders of a personal chauffeur.
After a little yelpy research, I decided on A-ABC, and they proved their awesomeness in four ways:
1. They were on time. To the minute. To the second.
2. My driver managed to duck INSANE traffic on both 5 and 99 by taking the Express lanes. Magical!
3. They are cheap. $35 from door to gate.
4. They are nice. This is a company that believes in customer service.

I booked 2 rides (from & to the airport) because of Yelp. This was the cheapest fare, cabs charge like $40 for the same ride! And for the two of us shuttling it, it would have came out to the same $30 and this was more comfy. Upon booking, the reservationist was super nice and made sure to get all the information right. We called once we landed and were told to go to baggage claim and call back, we called again so they could take down what number door we were at, then they called us back so we wouldn't have to wait in the cold and could just walk out to the curb. The first driver was super nice, he was wearing one of those Hawaiian themed shirts (in the rain! haha how awesome), he played classical (which I enjoy, it's the band nerd of my past...) and when he did chat with us, it was about traveling, where we lived, coffee, hotels and business in Seattle. It was casual and he wasn't the least bit annoying.
The way back, we were still exploring the city and were a few blocks away when the driver called and said he'd arrived. He patiently waited while we got our bags that were checked in. That ride over was a little bumpy to start, I think the driver was just worried about us being late but little did he know we were flying southwest and our flight had been delayed an hour. Anyways, he didn't play any music which was fine, he chatted with us minimally but I think my bf and I were just tired from our whole trip that he nodded off a little while I stared out my window. He gave us both the town car business cards just in case. We don't regularly come to Seattle but I have a feeling we will be back someday. Overall, great experience with the town car service. It kind of bummed me out because I wanted to seeing about getting a non-airport car but they only do airport transportation.Listed in: My Seattle Trip

Scheduled pick-up for 2:30pm, arrived 10 minutes early.
Drove fast but safe.
Very friendly and knowledgeable about the city.
Opened the door for us when we got in and got out of the vehicle
Vehicle was very clean and well kept.
We went to the airport from downtown Seattle, rate was $25 flat rate.
Called us when he arrived.
Overall, no complain whatsoever. Will definitely call and use them again.
BTW ... driver's name is Jimmy (he looks like Stan Lee) -

Price: as good as it gets.
Convenience: I received a call from the driver one morning (10 minutes prior to scheduled pickup) saying he was on his way and passing a coffee shop and did I want anything...seriously? Yeah.
Oh, and they quickly take my information over the phone to reserve transport both ways. They know every flight number I've given them immediately from memory. They have a toll-free number in case my cellular phone battery runs out upon arriving back in Seattle. And they are always on time or early. And after three trips in three months, they remember me by first name on the phone.
I wondered at first why the double "A" in their name...now I know. -

Like others who have reviewed this company, I was skeptical - but gave them a try for getting me to and from the airport around a week-long trip. I couldn't believe how on time they were, how easy they were to reach via phone and how straightforward the whole thing was. At the time I made the initial call to reserve the trip TO the airport, they took the initiative to get my returning flight info and schedule the RETURN ride for 8 days later, as well. As someone who doesn't take cabs a lot, but wants them to be really easy when I do, this company went above and beyond any expectation. I highly recommend A-ABC.

NO SHOW. My husband called to see why the driver was late and he gave him a ridiculous BS excuse. Essentially, he double-booked and rather than fixing his mistake, he decided to not show up. He was very friendly on the phone during the time of the reservation but he is totally unreliable.

The driver was on time, a bit early actually and I got the airport easily. The problem is that I was charged $10 more than the fare quoted to me ($45 instead of $35). I didn't argue too much and was told to check online, where indeed the fare from Seattle was $35-$40. Still not a bad rate for a nice ride in a tow ncar. I'd be more upset if I wasn't getting reimbursed for business travel for sure.

The were on time, helpful. They picked us up in an older town car but it was clean. The fare was $30 from seatac to pier 66. The people who work the pier said fares are usually not less than $10 pp. So this was a good deal.

I used ABC twice over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I would recommend ABC because:
*The Dispatcher was nice and answered the phone without a phone tree or having me wait.
*I was able to get a ride to the airport on my accord.
*Drivers were on time and courteous.
*Cheapest rate to SeaTac from Beacon Hill $25.
They don't get 5 stars because that's a perfect score.
From SeaTac I called for a ride and it was a little confusing organizing a pickup. I saw my ABC car pass me twice where I was told to meet him and then dispatch called to tell me to walk & walk all the way down to the end of the upper level departing circle to meet him when I had already been waiting at the beginning of the circle for 20 minutes. -

This is absolutely the BEST way to get to the airport from Seattle. They are so friendly and ALWAYS on time (if not 5-10 minutes early)--plus the rates beat taking a cab by at least $10. Also, they run their service at all hours--they'll even do a 3am pick up. They always ask if you need a ride back from the airport when you return, and if you do, they schedule it right then. I could go on but judging by all the 5-star reviews for this company, I don't think I need to.

Used ABC this weekend both ways from SEA Airport to our hotel downtown. Entire experience was spot on. Thank you so much for all the good reviews to point us in the right direction. Highly recommend. And yeah, they're a bargain. $30 flat rate each way plus tip of course.
