I was very pleased with A-1; from estimate through finish of job, they were professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. They did upsell me when they were here to include some outdoor plexi that runs around two decks...and thank goodness they did. For the first time in years, we have an unimpeded view of the bay.
Our windows have NEVER been this clean, and they took the time to point out scratches and other defects they couldn't tackle before they touched a window - which I appreciated. They also put in extra elbow grease on the outdoor glass and even removed paint that had probably been on there for multiple "professional" cleanings in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again. -

I have used this service for my business and continue to do so. I couldn't be more pleased. Though I tried to clean my large storefront windows myself I just never achieved the quality I wanted. And it doesn't matter how clean the inside of your business is if the first thing your customers see is dingy streaked windows. After A-1 cleaned them the overall affect was a dramatic change for the better.
And I thought that having clean windows was only going to have a subliminal effect on the people coming into my shop. But people really noticed. Perhaps that says more about th -

I've called on Stuart and his crew several times this year to help create the "wow" factor before putting a home on the market. I work in real estate and windows make all the difference in the overall presentation of a home. I've been so impressed with his attention to detail and great customer service. I've worked with other window cleaners (more expensive and less reliable...) and Stuart is by the far the best!
This review is long overdue. Stuart is a pleasure to work with, calm and professional. You should call him, really. -

A BIG 5 stars for Stuart and team at A-1! Needed emergency cleaning of gutters due to heavy rains and clogged downspouts. A-1 to the rescue. Efficient, knowledgeable, reliable - A-1 all the way around.

I've used these guys for years and never written a review, but the time has finally come! Somehow I managed to schedule our annual window-cleaning for the one rainy day in at least a month. Stuart called that morning to suggest that they do the inside anyway and just come back for the outside. Perfect.
His employee was here right on time and finished quickly. Our windows are super clean (at least on the inside), the staff are always very friendly, and I can't wait to have the outsides down soon.
Oh, and A-1 is very affordable. -

These guys just left my house and WOW did they do a great job. I knew the windows were dirty but I certainly didn't appreciate how dirty they were! The price was much more reasonable than I expected too - I will be inviting these guys back on a regular basis. (And my dog liked them too.)

These guys are great. I live in a large home with lots of windows and it's on a hillside. The price for the work was good and the work was great. I can't believe what these guys can do with a ladder. They're quick and friendly as to boot. I highly recommend them.

Stuart made the appt. over the phone. Ivan came to do the washing and gutter cleaning. He was meticulous and cleaned every window beautifully. He must have nerves of steel to get up on that ladder almost 3 stories up! Great work.

I have had A-1 Windows clean my windows for many years now and am always astounded at how beautiful they and the outside-from-the-inside-world looks for a long time after. They are very friendly, trust-worthy, efficient, reasonable rates, and I will continue with them as long as I have windows!! I have referred them many times to other people. Try them and enjoy!! They are clearly (haha) "the clear choice".

I am a first time customer and was so impressed with this company. They came promptly to give an estimate and followed up with cleaning the inside and outside of all windows (some not easy to get to). They also thoroughly cleaned all my blinds and hung them back properly. Couldn't have been more competent or professional. And very reasonable cost. Highly recommend them. Marilyn P

These guys go above and beyond. They're fast, very accommodating, and super friendly. Much lower rates than anyone else I had tried to call, and they did an outstanding job - I couldn't stop staring at my house afterward in disbelief of how clean it was!

I can see out my windows! Something I definitely wouldn't have done on my own in the rental property on the second floor. Stu came out and gave me an estimate and Ivan did a great job washing the exterior windows. I'm very pleased with their work.

Most impressed with the personable first impressions, value for service and throughly delightful and trustworthy staff. I asked for a reference and was given the number of a customer in Mill Valley -- she spoke highly of their 10-year relationship. I am in hopes that our house will sparkle for another 10+ years with The Clear Choice as our window washers. Grateful !

We have used A-1 for cleaning the gutters on our 2 - 3 story house for several years now. Always very professional, do a great job, and clean up after the work is done. Stuart is wonderful to work with, and is always proactive in letting you know if he found other issues while doing the work. I have recommended A-1 to many of my neighbors, and have used them for window cleaning as well this year.
