A house I recently purchased had problems with the septic tank; Steve quickly came out and discussed repair options with me. In the end, I've been very happy with the service and the repairs. Steve was always easy to get hold of, kept me updated on progress and options, and worked hard to keep the price reasonable despite the large amount of labor involved.
I would definitely recommend A1 Septic! -

The one star was earned by the technician who finally arrived 5 hours after the appointment time. This appointment was scheduled 4 days in advance. Our original appointment time was at 9. I received a call a little after 10 indicating that they were delayed and should be arriving in an hour or so. I finally called back at noon to see what the eta was. I was asked to hold 4 times then I was told I get a call back. At 1 pm I finally called them to check on the status. Apparently, the technician went to another home prior to coming to ours further delaying our service. Shortly before 2, the technician arrived. He wasn't informed of the pricing concession (nominal) offered by the office for the delay.
Other than that, I won't use them again.

Don't ever use this company. Steve Daldrup is a scam. I called this company and asked them to give me a bid in replace the Septic Tank. The estimator, Steve Daldrup was one hour late for the appointment. When he got there, he told me that the Fiber Glass tank can be repaired and it would cost from $3500 to $5000. However, to replace the septic tank, it would cost between $8500 to $10,500. Once he saw the location, he then verbally increased the Septic Tank replacement to $12,000. When I asked him to write up his bid for both repair and replacement. He claimed that he has sent the bid to me via email twice, but I have never got it. I asked him to just fax the bid to me. When I got the bid via fax, it became $8500 for just the repair. I called Steve and asked him why the price is double from when he quoted me at the jobsite. He said that he charged double due to the distance of travel and because they have to take the liability for the job. I asked him that since he does the work, if he is NOT taking the liability, then who would be liable for his work. He then gave me a sing and dance about it would save me time and money if I use them. I have to admit, I have never encountered a contractor who would double the prioce from the verbal quote at the jobsite to the writen bid. This would be a first for me. Be warned and don't EVER USE this company!!!
