Not the best pizza in nyc,but for a quick slice it will have to do. They do other good besides pizza but not that good. It's better then the pizza shop down the block though. Don't go between 3-5pm it else you will get swamped with school kids from the neighborhood going home from school. P.S..... Stick with the pizza and bottled drinks, don't know when the fountain "drinks" were changed.....

Its good pizza. not 4 or 5 stars though. I have been going here for as long as I can remember, at least 15+ years, and prefer it over pizza shack.
Avoid all other food that is not pizza. The ghetto ass fried food is, as expected, ghetto as shit. The fried chicken sandwiches and burgers arent horrible, but not on a regular basis. And who would order fried shrimp or fish from this place? -

There stuff is way better than the store next door pizza shack.
Great prices and great choices of food.
It's a little small inside, so you might not get seating when the children get out of school. Gets very CROWDED
There milkshakes are really good if you going to get something sweet here.
Delivery time is REAL QUICK
4 stars. I would give then 5 if they had more Italian food, but they do have everything else and ITS SATISFIES :) -

Quick delivery, decent pizza. Probably the best pie around this area. I live right near another shop, but their sauce is too sweet for me. A-1 is much tastier. Good crispy crust, and decent sauce/cheese ratio. I'll be ordering from these guys again.

BY FAR the best in all of Lowa East side ..among best PIZZA of Manhattan!
a hole in the wall but aawesome pizza. i go back every couple weeks from L.I. , its worth it. owner told me they use Polly-O cheese. MMMmmm

Not quite as good as the happy, smiling Pizza Shack just a few doors down. This is all pizza relativism. One you get away from Grand St, standards are a lot higher.
