Hired them to help my mom move and she loved them! I have been through a couple moving companies and they were the best and the price was better than the rest! Love them! My mom used them in Friendswood and I used them here in Austin..... Very Awesome Guys and they lift an Armour with one finger it seems like. lol

I am very happy with my move :D
Allstate movers called to confirm the move a day before and called in advance the morning of. They were on time and extremely nice. The two men that moved our large furniture made everything look so easy! [and having moved ourselves into the place they moved us out of...it was NOT easy]. This company is extremely amazing - and at a very good price, too! -

Update to my previous review.
While the response from A-1 came a few days too late to reschedule my move (I went with a different company), the managers called me several times in the following two weeks to apologize to me and explain what happened that day. They assured me that they now have different policies in place when they realize they might be unable to complete a scheduled move. They also offered to reimburse me for my time and inconvenience, which was a very nice gesture. So while I may never call them again for my move, I will say that taking ownership and apologizing when necessary bumps up my review.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had with a moving service. The movers were 4 hours late and managed to break my tv stand due to improper moving techniques. Also my furniture got stuck in the elevator and Vincent the mover decided that he wanted me to sign the completion paper work without finishing the job. I had a one bedroom apartment with everything boxed up and 5 large pieces to move. This small job turned into 3 hours and which was 75 more dollars than I was told that the job would cost. When i asked would the movers come back after the elevator issue was resolved, Vincent began to yell at me and say that i was keeping him there for nothing. His helper was very pleasant and hard working but Vincent was rude and unprofessional and managed to drag out the time to make more money off of a supposed very quick job. I was disappointed and aggravated. My move was supposed to start between 12-1 and ended at 11:30 pm at night. Absolutely terrible. If you want great service, I suggest You look elsewhere!!!
