Z Club NY

If you love Zumba and are looking for a great workout aswell as having fun- this is THE place to go. all teachers are experienced. Edmee who leads the team is top notch. her classes are fun and youll get a good workout. I highly recommend bobby as well. if you love latin music his class is extremely fun. the night classes are harder as the crowd tends to be young professionals. in the morning its a bit of an older crowd. I have been coming since they opened and love it. despite my gym memberships (which include zumba) I think this is the best place to come.

If you wanna burn/ loose weight and tone, while having fun, these are the zumba classes to take!

The Zumba class with Angelia Alfaro left a lot to be desired. Her iPod was dead at the beginning of class and so it started about 10 minutes late. Most of the songs felt really slow (barely broke a sweat), the moves overall felt disassociated from the music and she would stop doing the moves during class to basically test if we knew what was supposed to come next. Not particularly helpful. She saw a fair amount of women struggling with the moves (including myself) but still chose to do this. There was maybe 2 songs that felt good but everything else was meh. I also didn't like how she incorporated non-dance moves into the choreography which really took me out of the mood of being excited to dance with no judgment.

I love Zumba so would be willing to come back to try it with a different instructor, but wouldn't come back for her particular class.

Just finished Wills class! It was awesome! He is full of energy and makes sure everyone has fun. When in doubt of your next move just dance! I think everyone needs Zumba in their lives.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you prices, it's $25 to drop in $20 if you buy a package of 10 and there is a yelp checking offer for 2 for $30 so it's pretty good! You don't need a yearly membership so if you go to a gym already and just want to drop in from time to time you can!

I started off with the one-week unlimited pass and I am now a very loyal customer!
I have only taken classes at E 57th and the Studio is very clean with good locker/shower rooms.

They have a lot of classes at various times of the day and I love that they offer classes late in the evening. I work pretty late and this is the only club that has Zumba classes at hours that suit my schedule.

All of the instructors are good but my personal favorites are Diego, Volha and Irena.
Diego and Volha's classes are a lot of fun, they're both super cheerful!
Irena is a Zumba Education Specialist and she means business!! :D She will make you work really hard! Great choreography and a high energy workout.
I've heard that Edmee's Aqua Zumba is gooood! I haven't tried it yet but I've seen the class splashing around in the water having a great time. Can't wait to try it sometime.

Oh, they also organize master classes and other fun events. There was a week long Zumba retreat in Guadalupe in April - sounded awesome but unfortunately, I couldn't make it. From the pictures on their Instagram account, it looked like the people who made it had an amazing time there!

I asked my colleague to try out Z Club NY and she's now hooked! I highly recommend this club for people looking for some real Zumba.

I purchased a "First Time Unlimited 1 Week" and only used the E 57th Studio.

If you love zumba you will love all the instructors. The steps are not super simple yet easy enough for someone with some dance background or zumba experience to follow. I left each class drenched but in great spirits.

Check in is easy and the E 57 facility is really nice, this includes the locker rooms.

I am going to terminate my current membership with Equinox and sign up for the "One Month Unlimited" going forward. Most of the great Zumba instructors have left Equinox and are now working with Z Club NY.

I've been going to ZClub studios quite frequently for almost 3 years now and I've been loving all their classes!
The instructors here are more professional than other studios and gyms I've been to and it's worth every penny.
My favorites are Volha and Mike, interesting choreographies, great music and you burn a lot. other instructors that I tried were excellent as well.

I've taken all my classes with Edmee and I couldn't be happier. She always has a big smile on her face during class , which helps so much when you are struggling to keep up. He music selection and choreography are on point. She's makes your day with her spirit while you break a sweat!
Highly recommend her as your Zumba instructor!!

The instructor Volha was very exuberant and easy to follow. Will start attending her classes more!

I had the BEST time taking Edmee's Aqua Zumba class. It was my first time and her energy was infectious. It was definitely a challenging workout - my entire body was sore the next day. I cannot wait to return! Highly recommended!!!
