Eggs Up Grill

Cute clean comfortable breakfast/brunch spot, only open 'til 2 PM. Ample menu selections for about every taste. Side dishes offered are American fries or grits. I ordered the American fries, and requested them cook crispy. I was pleasantly surprised when they came that they were very nicely browned and crispy. The coffee was decent, and the lump crabcake Benedict was a special treat. Very pleasant breakfast.

On a quick visit to South Carolina to celebrate my good friend's union and my birthday, I decided to treat myself to brunch at Eggs Up Grill, which was about a 4-5 minute drive from my hotel. I had randomly looked up brunch spots before traveling and made up my mind that this is where I would end up, although I wanted the trusty All-Star Meal from Waffle House. I was pleased to find that my selection came with great reviews from a few friends, so I had to make sure I made it there.

Upon arrival, I was greeted within the first minute of crossing the threshold and informed that there was a wait, then my name and number were added to the list. The wait was not too long, and the text alerts made this seamless as I was able to sit in my car until it was time. I was seated at the counter since I was alone and the place was pretty busy. The couple next to me were basically scraping their plates, adding excitement to my anticipation. lol

My food came, and I wanted to order more because I finished it so fast -- it was sooooo good!!! I am in Jersey now, wishing that I could indulge some more. It was a delightful birthday treat, and the staff were really fun and kind, and they handled the rush very well. I was happy to see there was a brief break in the number of customers for them as I was leaving, because it seemed like a never-ending line. Good for business, but whew, they deserved a moment of chill. LOL

The food was good it just really took a long time to get the food. The waitress was fantastic. $58 +tip for 4 people. Expect to wait for your food. The coffee was good.

Love eggs up. There are a few employees that work here that have been there for a while and I truly enjoy seeing them when I come in. However- lately- they seem more stressed than usual. I feel like their location is a bit small for the demand they usually have (especially on Sundays!)
But besides all that- if you love a good breakfast you literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've ordered something and got the wrong thing once before but happily ate it anyway because it looked so good. I highly recommend the grilled blueberry muffin & eggs w/ a cup of Joe!

Best place to eat in Sumter! Place always consistent with my breakfast. Never a bad day. Best bacon an eggs around. Wish they were 24/7 but they close at 2.

This was the first place we came and sat down to eat at. The service was amazing, we were greeted by staff near the kitchen as soon as we walked in the door, and then seated immediately, it wasn't too busy so we got to choose where we sat. I ordered corned beef hash, eggs, home fries, with a side of biscuits and gravy and a pancake. My man order a Belgian waffle with eggs and sausage patties. Both eggs were cooked perfectly, the home fries were delicious! RECOMMEND!

Very nice surprise and a lot of options not available everywhere. Service was quick and efficient. Plenty of parking. Clean.

Always a good atmosphere and even better food! Highly recommend the crab cakes egg Benedict & their pancakes are delicious. Good offering of drinks and yummy coffees even mimosas! Be sure to go early on Sundays to beat the rush.

I had the oatmeal dish to go and it was delicious. The order was delivered as ordered and quickly dropped off.

Just moved to Sumter a few months ago. Found this little gem.
Food is absolutely delicious and friendly service!! We've been here several times now and never disappointed.
There's usually a wait- but that's because it's worth it!!
