      I had purchased a Die Hard Gold battery from Advance Auto Parts store, Novi, MI, almost 3 years ago. It came with a 3 Year replacement warranty and I had two more months left in the warranty. Today my car wont start up, and AAA gave me a jump start, they also did a battery health check showing a week battery and it needs immediate replacement.
      So I went to the Advance Auto Parts store, Novi, MI, talked to Mike K, and they performed a battery health check and it also showed the battery indeed is week and needs to be replaced.
      Without any hesitation they put a brand new Die Hard Gold battery in the car, and it costed me nothing.
      I am so happy and grateful. What a great customer service!!!! Thanks to Mike K and all other Team members in the store

      On May 9, 2021, I visited the Novi Store on Grand River. I was inquiring about a battery. The person behind the counter rudely informed me that he could not assist me because he was the only person in the store. So I went out to my SUV and took the information from my battery to provide for him. My battery was under full warranty and I asked could he at least assist me with getting the battery to my car and exchanging it because if I turned my car off it wouldn't start. He rudely informed me that it was corporate policy that he not step outside the store if he was the only person working. There was any one in the store at the time and he seemed upset because he stated his management placed him in the store alone for the day.

      I asked for corporate's number, he rudely told me he did not know the number and I asked for the District Manager's number or the General Manager's number and he stated he didn't know any of their numbers. I have never heard of a corporate policy that indicates a Sales Associate can't walk outside the door (my car was parked directly in front of the entry door) to assist a customer. This person was rude and simply did not want to assist me at all. He indicated his name was Dan. I find it hard to believe that he didn't know the Manager, District Manager or General Manager's information. My battery is under full warranty and I simply wanted to change the battery because apparently there was something wrong with it because my car will only start with assistance of jumper cables. There is nothing mechanically wrong with my vehicle, it's the battery. This person simply refused to assist me in any way. I have always utilized Advance Auto but if the customer service in Novi doesn't change I will not visit any Advance Auto period.

      They are always helpful and cordial. They're really dealing with the Covid regulations well, and always have masks and distancing, unlike the Auto Zone down the street where the employees either half wear masks or don't wear them at all.

      Outstanding service.

      I happened to find this store on the day that they were having their grand opening. I was greeted at the front door by Noel with a HANDSHAKE, a smile, and a warm welcome! He actually came outside and opened the door for me. I have never gone into any place of business and felt so welcomed and appreciated.

      Noel gave me a brief tour and told me what the best deals were for their grand opening. He was very friendly and helpful. When I had completed my shopping, Noel took it upon himself to take my order out to my vehicle and helped me load it into my car.

      I wish every experience was as great as this when you walk into an Auto Parts store, or any business really. Had I been unfamiliar with Advance Auto Parts, I would have thought Noel owned the store. I hope his service does not go unrecognized.
