I guess what can you expect from a dirty college town bar? Just wanted a light dinner and to chill with an old friend who is going to school here. We shared rolls royce which was essentially a reuben and a beer-- the sandwich was awful. Wheat bread drenched in butter with slices of lee budig-style corned beef (not sure if yall have this brand, it's basically the 4 for $1 lunch meat at the store in a baggie) sauerkraut, cheese, and thousand island on the side.  Anyway, the sandwich was disgusting. The fries were actually ok though..all this plus a pickle and a side of disappearing waitress for $11. I felt so cheated...and the other reviewers are right..it smells!!!

Dayum!  I felt old when I came to RJ while celebrating a friend's birthday.  Actually, we were gonna go to this bar that behind Ratsie's (forgot the name of the bar) but they wanted $12 dollars for a cover charge.  I'm thinking to myself, "honey dear, college students can barely afford a $4 beer".  $12 cover charge.  That's 3 beers along with a buzz that just went bye-bye.

Anyways, my friend opted for RJ, that was across the street.  We got there just before the kitchen closed.  So, the crew were mopping because as soon as you walked in, all you could smell was Clorox.  And there were people eating!

Fortunately, we didn't come here to eat but to drink and be merry!  I was impressed with their Amaretto Sour.  My partner was impressed with their White Russian.

Pretty soon, all the tables, in the main restaurant area, were rounded up and relocated to the other room, where we were sitting.  Aha, the main area just became a dance floor...a small one, though.   And the rounded-up tables became a makeshift bar.

Well, these people are creative and I'll give them credit for that.

Leaving the place was a challenge.  Getting through a small dance floor filled with drunk people yet packed like sardines is gonna require you to think up some solutions that could probably help you solve the Rubik Cube.

3 stars because that Clorox smell was constant.

Its the "athletes" and Underage bar in CP. It has always had a bad aroma to it but the service is decent. Most bartenders and servers are new. All 3 Bar in CP have a monopoly since they are the only ones close to a major Campus.. Maybe someone will open a GOOD bar with GOOD service. This place is acceptable and better than their neighbors (cornerstone)

Did something break here, because all I ever see here are a bunch of tools.  Out of the three bad bars in College Park this is by far the worst one.  Small, cramp and no fun at all.  The outer area in the front is the best area in the place.  You get a nice view of Rte 1 and you're near an exit.  The next room over the main area always smells like puke.  Someone puked there 20 years ago and they've never cleaned it up.  This area is always packed and it's ridiculously hard to get a drink.  The "down stairs" area is the bar next to the restrooms, meaning the bar down stairs smells like a restroom.  That ain't spilled beer on the floor.  If you ever walk anywhere down here, burn your shoes when you get home.

Funny cause the worst part of this place is the service.  The bartenders are jackasses.  First, they only serve their friends.  It's a bother to them to serve you.  Two, if by chance they do serve you and you happen to start a tab, they put their friends drinks on your tab.  A $20 will become a $90 tab in a heart beat.  The DJ, yeah he's playing the same set he did 10 years ago.  You'll hear the same three song cycle multiple times over a 2 hour period.

The last time I was here with some friends this place smelled like a mix of urine and chlorox (must've been cleaning up after a crazy night previously).  Food is alright and their fries are alright - satisfactory and nothing to write home about (heehee I like how you Yelpers are using that phrase).  You can't help but go back to this place - it's one of only three main bars in College Park.

Oh the memories of the sticky floor and DMX playing on the makeshift dance floor filled with lax-ers and various football players.  The downstairs bar is much easier to get drinks at than the upstairs.  Good times.
